Hasaa

I owned and wore YSL "Black Opium Le Parfum" and loved it. But the perfume's projection and performance were poor on my skin. I decided to try Al Absar "Hasaa" as an alternative. Hasaa is touted as Black Opium Over Red...and I like a well-done cherry note in perfume. Sweet, perfectly balanced cherry meets beautiful, mixed white florals. There's coffee, some vanilla. The fragrance is gorgeous. But literally within minutes of applying this perfume, I cannot smell much and neither can anyone around me. I love the fragrance. It's unfortunate that the performance is so poor. I'll allow this one to sit for a bit...see if the performance improves.

Instead of a burst of Cherry, I got a deeper note that smelled like a chocolate to me but there is no chocolate in the notes, so not sure what I'm smelling. Comparing it the OG on paper, it comes across a little darker. After about 20 mins on paper, the smokey feeling I was getting dried down to a smoother composition. It became a little creamier and harder to distinguish between this and Black Opium Over red. They are so close to my nose but I do need to test on skin. The Og just seems a tad bit brighter than this but both very enjoyable to my nose!

Yup, this is it - Black Opium Over Red best dupe. I have both and wouldn't tell them apart after like 5 min. Beautiful, sexy cherry scent, but not cough syrup. Amazing, the best cherry I found. Some coffee and flowers, my bf compared it to cherries in chocolate with a bit of alcohol inside. Lasts super long and projects a bit. Recommend!!!

I've just received today. It was a blind buy from an international site, because Hasaa is not available in my country...It smells so high quality, it's sweet, but in a dark way, spicy, floral, vanilla, everything so well blended and sexy, and distinguished. I love it so much and I hope they don't discontinue it <3

I put this on to show my wife what I got in the mail today. I sprayed liberally. She joked that I have a problem. Then I held out my arm and said “sniff.” May lightning strike me dead if I’m lying... she immediately started unbuttoning my shirt. Need I say anything more? Nothing else matters.

I wasn't a huge fan of black opium over red because of the medicinal smell at initial spray, this perfume got rid of that medicinal smell and made it pleasant, however it quickly becomes a skin scent which requires reapplying, but for the price its ok.

I actually love it better than the Maison Alhambra one opera rouge, and I am also a huge Blacvk opium over Red Girl, and this to me is like 97% there, it's amazing, love it good buy for the price as well.

Like all al absar fragrances - this does not last. Smells amazing I just wish the longevity was there :(
