Red Sugar

This smells like Swedish Fish Candy with a slight floral presence, and I don’t mind it in the least! It’s the kind of perfume that I put on and it makes me smile. It reminds me of going to the movies with friends and eating a big bag of red Swedish Fish. It’s sweet and fruity and lasts all day. It doesn’t project a ton, but I work in a hospital so I like my scents a little closer to the skin. I really am surprised because I was just kind of meh about VCRS when I smelled it in Sephora and I know that the DNA of this is similar, but I feel that they really knocked it out of the park with this one!

I almost gave up on Red Sugar. I purchased it in February and the alcohol smell was so strong I couldn’t smell the notes. I checked it every month and the alcohol was dissipating. After 4 months I was blown away. It’s one of my all time favorite fragrances. The pear, marshmallow, rum and vanilla smell so good. The rest of the notes round it out nicely. As soon as I smelled what it smelled like after 4 months maturing, I bought a backup bottle. The bottle is super cute.

Smells alot like Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar (one of my GOATs) with s hint of BR540 extrait. Can't smell alot of the notes this is what it smells like to my nose . I am OBSESSED. I hope they never discontinue this cuz I always wanna have it ! Sweet , intoxicating, sugary yet elevated , not juvenile. Soooo pretty . Similar to Confection also which i love but I think I like this one better.

When I first got this perfume 5 months ago it smelled strongly of alcohol. I kept letting it mature and it still smelled like alcohol. Finally after 5 months, it smells absolutely amazing. The pear note is strong as well as the marshmallow. I can smell each note and I’m in love. I’m so glad I didn’t give up on this one and was patient. The only downside is the long maturation.

It's....weird to describe! It does smell like VCRS but with something extra that I both like and dislike. It's more sugary, bubblegum-y and more boozy than VCRS but from time to time it reminds me of a cleaning solution but then it's also cute and sweet at the same time. I'm not mad at it, the bottle is adorable and I will for sure wear this even if it's only at the gym.
