Amber Oud Ultra Violet

It took almost a month to get this from Jomashop, but it finally arrived. I was not disappointed. It smells very jasmine-centric on me with rose and amber quietly humming underneath it. On me, there is a powdery dry down, although that may just be my chemistry, as no one else is mentioning it. My first thought was how much I would've loved this 20 years ago. Although my taste has changed over the years, I still really like this one. It can be worn year round, IMO. Not overpowering, but strong enough to make an impression. Would I buy it again? I'm not sure yet. But, it's a distinct possibility, it's that nice. It's a femme scent, can't imagine a guy wearing this one, nor would I want to..its very floral and sweet - I would know he was wearing ladies perfume! I would recommend, if you like Jasmine/Rose. EDIT- 2025- just bought another FB. It's a wonderful price for such a nice perfume.

It's just okay. I'm seeing this is a copy of L'Interdit Rouge with the ginger note. It's a tuberose white floral fragrance with a spicy ginger note on top. The bottle is one of my favorites in my perfume collection. The angular, heavy glass, the fuchsia metallic shell-it's a show stopper. It's hard for me to judge this fragrance objectively because the bottle is so good. Amber Oud Gold is my favorite fruity fragrance and I was hoping the rest of this line would live up to it but so far, AOG is way better than the other two in my collection. This is still a good white floral scent but I feel it could definitely be better. I want to try Ruby, but I think I'm going to sample first since these aren't exactly cheap.

I’m still learning about certain notes and their distinct smells. At first I thought this was heavy on the gardenia until I seen the notes and realized there’s no gardenia so maybe I’m smelling the tuberose. This does smell very much like the Givenchy fragrance, which isn’t my favorite. However, for the price, this is a huge steal and smells far more expensive than it is. You must love heavy fresh flower smells or this may be a huge turn off for you. It’s definitely more a fresh floral smell, not synthetic at all. I really like this!

This is what heaven smells. They took tuberose and jasmine and made it for younger audience. I am in LOVE with this fragrance. Thanks to my fiance (who gifted this fragrance to me cause i love tuberose and jasmine) i found a GEM. You can wear this this scent all year, every where, every time, every age. As a note: I find gucci bloom waaaaay to heavy and it makes me sick even tho i like jasmine and tuberose. But this one is nothing alike.

Ultra Violet is the same scent note for note as Al Haramain Floral Fair. I love the scent it's beautiful. It is done with that quintessential Al Haramain style of Rose. If this is your jam then price compare Ultra Violet and Floral Fair and go with which ever $aves you clink! Performance is extremely close, scent is 99 percent identical etc. You don't need both unless you want both or a particular bottle over the other. Nuff said 😉

As Mr. Cornells said, don't be scared off by the pink bottle, this is definitely a unisex fragrance. Similar to Montale's Cafe Intense; bright pink bottle but unisex juice. This particular AH fragrance is very similar to Gucci, absolutely love it.

This is absolutely one of the best fragrance recently launched by the House of Al Haramain Perfumes. The best floral perfume available lately and great value for Money. Thumbs-up for Haramain Amber Oud Ultra Voilet.

This is really nice. sweet, strong white flowers with an arabic twist. My collection is 90% niche, but when I saw this on Jomashop for only $50 I had to get it and so happy I did. I love it.

Not a safe blue and buy. I bought this because I smelled it in a shop and it smelled lovely. I then ordered a bottle and am now a bit disappointed. Maybe I should let it macerate a bit. For now is smells of strong jasmine tuberose patchouli or frangipani and is a bit headache inducing

Smells a lot like roses musk from montale but a stronger version.. beautiful scent really like it will definitely wear it a lot

Just received mine today also from Jomashop lol. I was very curious to see what this would be duping It is full of tuberose, very lovely, feminine and full without being too heady or overbearing. I will need to get my nose on the ones others are suggesting it's similar to. I will report back once I've worn it longer. I just sprayed it on immediately after unboxing from the mail minutes ago. The box and presentation are beautiful. The atomizer is also amazing. Better than my Amber Oud Rouge or Gold Pure Extreme actually. *edit So I wore this all day today. It is a very pleasant spring/early summer scent. As mentioned, it has tuberose, but it is balanced by the jasmine and rose. I am not a fan of tuberose heavy scents usually as they tend to be waxy and overbearing, but this is very wearable. It is softly sweet but mostly floral. Strongest notes for me are tuberose, jasmine, and oak, although all listed are present. This scent is not extremely youthful, but not overly mature either. It is a sophisticated and classy scent without being overly stuffy or serious. I would recommend this if you want a more realistic tuberose without being overwhelming. Longevity wise it's quite long lasting, easily 8+ hours with good sillage. *edit, does not really smell like Gucci Flora to my nose. This one is definitely tuberose, that one is more gardenia.

Edit 10/3/25: Listing perfumes for sale today...almost listed this just because I have so many, but then I smelled it again and NO, I am keeping this. The problem is that I keep it in that big tacky box and forget I have it. Brought it out to use this fall...if we ever get fall here in Texas! GORGEOUS, not exactly like the original Michael Kors, but scratches the same tuberose itch. I am a white floral junkie. Original: I got this about a year ago and found it disappointing. In fact, it was gross. Not being one to give up on a perfume, especially a middle eastern perfume that needs oxidation time, I put it on top of a cabinet to revisit later and completely forgot about it. Yesterday I ran across it and tried it again. Now it's a beautiful modern edgy tuberose with other white florals and the bite from the ginger or possibly ambroxan. Very much in the vein of Marfa by Memo Paris. In fact, it feels like it was inspired by Marfa, the same cold, dry modern tuberose. Not humid like Carnal Flower. This is a very good everyday tuberose if you enjoy the dry side of white florals. It grew on me and now I like it a lot. Maybe a love if I get attached to it. The bottle is beautiful. Something about this feels peaceful and lonely. The oldest reviews for this down at the bottom read like ad copy.

I am honestly so very disappointed in this.. I read so many reviews and, according to the notes listed here, I thought it would smell amazing, but honestly it doesn’t at all... I’m a white floral tuberose fan, like BIG fan, and I just don’t get that from this perfume.. To me it just smells synthetic sweet with a little spice at the beginning and ends up smelling like a not so nice version o the Gold version.. Really sad because I had high hopes, but if you expect to smell white floral, I just don’t recommend this.

Al Haramain marketing this fragrance as women's is like saying pink is a colour exclusively for women. A cursory look at the notes listed above clearly screams "unisex" to me. Men rock pink too... IG: @mr_cornells

I wore this to work today and my coworker said I smell like a black mom from the 90s. I’m inclined to agree. If you want your black homies in a nostalgic mood, wear this!
