Blanche

This is so pretty! I tried the OG Delina but the rhubarb note was so sour and the scent felt overwhelming on me. This is everything I liked about Delina but lighter, sweeter, cleaner, and more wearable. The sillage is moderate and the longevity is surprisingly good. I'm very happy with this blind buy. Al Haramain does it again with this elegant scent ❤️

I like that this is not rose overdose in this perfume. First time in my blind buy I received what I expected - fruit and rose not the other way round. Very delicious and good perfume for everyday use.

Initial spray is a side eye, but the dry down...Delina-ish, for sure.

If delina is a young pink rose, blanche is a fruity, fresh pink budding rose. It starts as a white rose when sprayed. I like Delina and don't mind the rhubarb in it, so I was pleasantly suprised when I acquired this, because this starts out as a more rhubarb-fruit-centered Delina. After a while, it morphs into something 90% similar, but frankly, it's a good scent in its own regard. In general it seems like Delina has started a whole genre of scents, so maybe it is better to view them as variations of a theme, rather than clones. This actually reminds me way more of Molton Brown's Delicious Rhubarb & Rose, leaning more into the aquatic and sour-juicy territory while keeping the roses as the second star of the show. As for the quality of scent: mostly smells natural, strong at first but nice drydown, good longetivity, smells well constructed. It's sligtly sweet, smells like actual roses, smooth, fresh and bright. It's a tad synthetic but not in a way that feels out of place, so what I'm probably smelling is Calone. I've never had the pleasure of smelling Dragon Fruit so I cannot say how innovative this note is - I do know however that it was present in the pink flanker of Black Opium, that used to be my favourite flanker. So it's probably doing something in here. I find it this blends well with my skin, so ultimately it migh be a good fit for me. If you are looking for a Delina or Oriana clones, I find both Blanche and Destino do a very decent job, so I do reccomend trying it out. Most people won't smell the difference on themselves anyway.

I am a Delina lover, and I own several fragrances inspired by it. However, I have never found a dupe that convinces me among TikTok-hyped Arabic inspirations (True Amore by Zara is the closest one in my opinion). With that said, to me, it’s not a one-to-one dupe, but it has Delina’s vibe with its own twist, which is pitahaya. I was actually skeptical about this note, as the fruit itself doesn’t really smell (or taste) much, but it is somehow very prominent here, with this fruity, watered swiftness. It is a very feminine and tender fragrance. If Delina is a silky pink dress, this one is a silky dress with white lace. The longevity is good, but the sillage is just moderate. Honestly, I am so much in love with this perfume. I didn’t expect to like it that much, as all Delina dupes were mostly not as good as the original. This is not similar enough to be compared, but somehow I like it as much as I like Delina. To me, they are different fragrances.
