Maze Eau de Parfum

A personal favourite and less discovered perfume. The vibe was very well constructed. This to me smells like Egypt but in the sense of some kind of bronze goddess vibe (except it smells nothing like the perfume bronze goddess) Complex and the notes are hard to pinpoint. The citrus blends with with the florals and the spice is a well done gentle touch. The packaging is beautiful and this vibe is lovely. Well constructed blend of perfume. Beautiful. 10/10 Definitely not for everyone and as I often say in my reviews, more suited for the MENASA. A huge fan of this.

Very similar to Al Haramain Haneen, but Maze is woodier and muskier (as in metallic musk), whereas Haneen leans towards floral, citrus. I personally prefer Haneen, for the feminine, less metallic notes. Maze seems much more unisex, but not necessarily more on the masculine side. Indeed, a very complex, oriental blend, you can distinguish by far the oriental notes like saffron, amber, deep rose notes. Very strong, long lasting, elegant, all year around fragrance. Not girly, not sweet, nothing fruity or gourmand. Unisex and mature. The bottle is glass, embedded in gold color metal case, pretty original. Recommend it if you like oriental, rose, saffron, sandalwood notes!

Very round, soft, warm, gorgeous fragrance. To my nose, saffron and soapy rose dominate here. The pyramid is more like: floral, sweet (in saffron way), rose, i do not detect citrus. It is not rich in shadows, but great for its price. I love the concept of flacon, and how it fits the name of this perfume. As this is my fourth fragrance from Al Haramain, i see they share same code: round and soft yet vivid. Arabian fragrances give us the vividness, full body of the fragrances, which I personally miss in the ocean of the poor reformulations of european perfumes.

Very green and citrussy at first. The vermouth note elongates the performance of the green note. After that a bit of spiciness comes out. Later a warm rose and sandalwood emerge. Very nice and unique smell. This scent very strongly reminds me of my grandma (in a good way) so I would say that this is a bit of an old school kind of smell. Feels like a warm, old school plush blanket on you. Because of that I would wear this in the Autumn/Winter months or evening scent in Summer. 6/10 Scent = 2/3 Performance = 2/3 Wearability = 1/3 Value = 1/1

EDIT: Gently sweet, floral, rose and citrus. Would say its unisex though leaning female. Really good price. Great gentle scent. Lasts good 12 hours which is rear for me. Would recommend.

many CPO of al haramain are perfumes of real value, this one, (or they are anosmic) or it's pure water .... little alcohol little lemon a shade of Martini two wood chips and honestly I can't find much else ... I'm sorry to have to write words not very exciting for this perfume ... because I totally appreciate Nasmah of the same house (Nasmah has a deep rose .... and stays to keep you company for hours) ... necessary sample before purchase

First impressions. It has this recognizable oriental rose-saffron combo, but it's actually quite airy. I get mainly rose and citruses and the note pyramid seems deceptively complex. It's pleasant though. More feminine than unisex, although I could see it working as a masculine fragrance in a tropical heat, sipping coctails on a beach, this kind of hedonistic vibe. Gave my bottle to my GF, since it reminded me of Shiseido Zen.

Opens up very citrusy and then settles down into a fruity rose fragrance that's very pleasant. Slightly sweet with a sharp woodyness from the cedar and a dry leathery like accord from the saffron. If you like scents like erba Pura then you'll love this.

This is good. Almost like Amouage Lyric, but it has not such a great sillage.
