Taj

You are standing before a waterfall. It is misting rain. There are ferns all about you, leaf litter beneath your feet. A little breeze kicks up. You savour a feeling of melancholy and solitude. The rain picks up... This is rapidly becoming my go to green and green is the operative word with this fragrance. If it were a colour it would be avocado. Deep, cool but fresh. It is the olfactory equivalent of holding a nephrite jade egg in the palm of your hand. I particularly enjoy wearing Taj on rainy days. There's a clean soapiness to it but it doesn't dominate, reminiscent if just having showered. It's refreshing without being sharp or bright. There's something nostalgically seventies about this. It reminds me of something I cannot put my finger on but it has that great time machine effect. The listed notes are WAY off. There's some musk but it's a minor player. No detectable sandalwood at all or smoke (that one I was disappointed about). It smells like a herbal musk to me with minor wood notes. It's listed as unisex but it's definitely more masculine than in the middle. To me, it reads as a more sophisticated version of Al Haramain Naeem. The sillage and longevity are impressive. Apply with restraint.

First off 12 € that's enough to justify it , I say that if you like it you'll like most generic oud perfumes, opening is like the opening of hachivat oud ,for the first seconds that is ,then it just goes Uber ambery and quite boring, it does smell like the herbs it says but I think I should let it macerate a lot because I bought it today , as a first Arabic perfume I believe it's ok ,but for me it's mehh ,that super amberyness it reminds me of sm but I don't remember , as a man I don't think I will get skin time but as an Arabic women's perfume I think it can do work , I think it's more special than most perfumes you get from Sephora but not much more worth it but it a big step back if you have any collection that includes more niche perfume takes

Whoa......this is like an explosion to my nose! The tiniest amount is soooo strong and lasts for hours. The Amber dominates and takes awhile to mellow. If you like a powerhouse fragrance that gets you noticed, then this is for you
