Tanasuk (2019)

I LOVE IT SOOOOO MUCH!!!!! The grenadine and brown sugar are the most prominent notes (to me) and it makes it a perfume that makes me happy but makes me drool at the same time haha I get how people say it is a classic rose/vanilla scent but I think the brown sugar mixed with the grenadine make this classic combination a little bit more original. This is a happy, sweet, summer fragrance. But I could see this worn all year long, although I really associate this perfume with summer. Day or night. From first spray to dry down to every time I have sprayed this I really love this fragrance. As it dries down the grenadine/brown sugar are still there but the rose and amber become more and more noticeable. This is a crowd pleasing fragrance too. I do not have many perfumes but it is one of my most compliment-getter fragrances. However even if I find it quite original, people always seem to recognize the scent, as it is a classic scent profile. I got told it smells like "something I've smelled before in a perfume shop, like a nice designer fragrance". Or that it smells nice, it is not strikingly original, but people like it, especially those who like oriental vanilla amber fragrances. The scent does not project more than an arm's reach, but it stays strong on your skin, and when people hug you they always compliment on the nice floral vanilla perfume I have on. All day long you live in your sugary sweet vanilla/rose/amber scent bubble AND I LIVE FOR IT I relate to the person who said they would happily drown in this fragrance, like girl same here 💅✨ Also, I could not find it on fragrantica but my bottle is more rectangular ??? And before anyone says anything I have let it macerate for two months.

As others mentioned in the bottom this now comes in a different BEAUTIFUL bottle. It’s an all black and red mix and it’s a extrait de parfum. This is hands down in my whole collection the best bang for buck stuff you can get. It literally does better in smell quality and projection then some of the niche I have. Also, this stuff smells like initio atomic rose. It projects, doesn’t smell synthetic at all. It’s actually CRAZY how I got this for only 27$. It’s one of the only perfumes that mind boggles me with the price to ratio of what I’m getting. I sprayed it on for an overnight shift did it around 5:30PM, and here I am 6am still gets whoofs of it in the air and it’s so present on my wrist. I got the initio atomic rose before this but if I got this before I would have never got atomic rose. It just does what initios does but even better and barely 1/4 of the price it’s actually ridiculous. It’s unisex and def isn’t a feminine only fragrance even considering the main note is rose. Don’t be afraid to grab this if you’re a dude it’s a banger that smells 150$+ I kid you not. 8/10 scent 10/10 sillage and projection

I have the Tanasuk Extrait version of this fragrance which is in a beautiful squared, red and black bottle. To my nose, it is like a fusion of Gentle Fluidity Gold and Mancera's Rose Vanille (the rose note is not very prominent in Tanasuk which makes it lean closer to Gentle Fluidity Gold to my nose) the brown sugar accord is also very prominent in the dry down and is not too sweet or cloying since the saffron gives it an airy-like feeling. The quality of the fragrance and the bottle exceeds the price. I copped it for less than $30 which is a steal. This is a love for me, can be worn in all seasons !! Update: This smells more like Roses Musk by Montal than intense Cafe!

I will happily drown in this fragrance. I cannot get over the saffron, grenadine and brown sugar twist.

Extrait de parfum version: Anyone who finished a bottle of the perfume oil, pre-hype, pre-reformulation, knows the legendary staying power and in-your-face sillage that it commanded so effortlessly on skin and clothing. Inspired by Mancera's Roses Vanille, in Tanansuk extrait de parfum, you will enjoy syrupy brown sugar, grenadine, rose, vanilla and musk that opens with intensity, then eases into a softer, more delicate dry down. A performance that cannot be compared to the oil, but nevertheless a like for the books. Please note that the eau de parfum (picture) and extrait de parfum versions are encased in different bottles, don't confuse the masses with advice of new bottles.

Exact same scent as the Tanasuk perfume oil, but less syrupy due to concentration. Longevity & silage are moderate and definitely not as strong as Mancera's 'Roses Vanille', however this is a fantastic dupe & smells extremely similar. In terms of sweetness, I'd say Tanasuk is the closest out of all the affordable dupes! If you layer this with the perfume oil, you're bound to be close to Mancera performance.

This is a very challenging scent. Very resinous, rough and bitter. I took the advice of another reviewer and removed the top layer of chemicals by spraying 8 times. I'm now allowing the scent to macerate for a few months. I hope it will be good enough to gift someone during the holidays.

It's Roses Vanille but make it mouthwatering! A Roses Vanille Starburst if you will! The grenadine and brown sugar are responsible for a sweeter, fruitier Roses Vanille. It doesn't have Mancera's performance but the scent is sublime. It also doesn't have the projection but the longevity is decent especially on clothing. Better than the Musk Vanille dupe by Maison Alhambra. For the price of under £20 you really can't complain. I received the skinny rectangular bottle not the triangular one. It slotted discreetly sideways into my small but growing perfume collection so hopefully no one will ask "Have you been buying more perfume?". The fake dark wooden cap is also kind of attractive. A sweet fruity rose for every day wear. I recently finished up my Rose 01 which I loved but as I rarely wear rose perfumes I wanted a rose for when I'm in the mood so I went for this bargain blind buy option based off reviews here and I'm not disappointed.

It opens up loud, strong, very sweet and rose heavy but settles beautifully into a vanilla heavy rose with added saffron and pomegranate. The sweetness of the grenadine and brown sugar compliment the heaviness of the rose beautifully. It lasts forever and the atomizer is also very good. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bottle for Tanasuk has been updated to a bottle much more beautiful than the one shown here that also visually reminds me more of how it actually smells.

On first spray I was not a fan. It gave me a very oud-forward middle eastern vibe. I was looking for a rose saffron fragrance. However, after a month of maturation, I am liking it. It is not a love, but I will update if this becomes a love.

It smells a bit diluted and oldish in the beginning, but as it dries down it turns into this super intoxicating rosy gourmand. It's def long lasting. Aww I just wish I could skip the opening and directly get to the later stage of it!
