Absolutely worth having this Oud Gem, too bad they are only making 101 pieces. Next stop is Ghaliya & Ward from this magnificent house.

A very oud centered woody perfume with over 30 types of oud oils (Kyara, Kinam, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Hindi and anything else you can think of) with slight animalic touches at the base (some ambergris and deer musk). The perfume is very inward reflecting like an attar and has a quiet, spiritual depth to it. The masculine leaning is softly aromatic and lingers pleasantly and warmly on skin for a good while with moderate sillage. As expected, it is very limited and prohibitively expensive. Enjoy!

It is a perfume of a few different facets. Start is very playful, i get woody note, a touch of gasoline, "noble rot" as if damp patchouli but almost sweet, velverty with glitter(no greenness or sharpness to it, similar note i can find in agar attar by AA), green kyara note (gently sweet silky green note that is almost apple like) similar to what is used in Susnset it japan by Jinkoh, and this worn in, gently animalic brown oud similar to what was used in EO1 OG by ensar. All 5 move in and out creating this brown and green caleidoscope of notes. After about an hour in, i am left with the green kyara and brown oud notes that peacefully co exist together in a very smooth, pleasant velvety cloud of perfume. Ingredients are high quality, aged and well blended. The only issue i have, which might not be the case for you, is that perfume is too smooth and fluffy, like a cashemere sweater. I do enjoy some contrast, something rough to run through the composition, which is not the case here. Overall very solid release for a very reasonable price considering the ingredients used.

Hands down one of the best Oud fragrances I have ever smelled. Elevation opens with a blast of chocolatey deer musk on top of a bed exquisite ouds. To my nose it opens with Cambodian dried fruits along with a gentle floralcy that reminds me of roses although it’s not rose at all. It’s Oud. The beauty of elevation is that it showcases all the gorgeous aspects of Oud oils across the eastern hemisphere and shifts between floral, spicy, warm, sweet, sour, woody, and earthy. It’s incredible. 10/10 Oud fragrance in my opinion. The drydown is one of the best I’ve ever smelled. It’s creamy, rich, slightly vanillic, gently musky and the ambergris provides a bit of texture as well.

Easily my favorite perfume from Al Shareef. A beautiful mix of precious Oud oils, with a bit of natural ambergris and musk used to round the edges. The very subtle Kyara accents aren’t the star of the show but they are gorgeous. There’s no challenge here, the Oud is bittersweet, woody, sour at times and the different regions of Oud show their faces in different climate and weather conditions. Sometimes it’s Filipino Oud dominant, sometimes cambodi. My favorite aspects are Vietnamese lacquered wood and the Malay Oud which brings to mind Jamaal, by the house.

Very high quality ouds are in here. cooling, ethereal Malays at the beginning, supported by marine notes of Filipino & ambergris. At the later stage chocolatey leathery Hindi & spicy, cinnamony Indonesian ouds join the stage, all ending on a soft, balsamic musk aroma, which is a typical oud drydown. All seems to match well together, very smooth & pleasing but still takes you on a complex ride - So basically a very nice representation of what oud can offer. I like it ! My highlight is the cooling, ethereal opening.
