Cocos Island

I blind bought this fragrance from another owner, it was a cheap second-hand shot. I loved it! On my skin it’s fenomenale. Bossy, classy and elegant fragrance. Would go good on business women or women that are leading a team. Wearing this fragrance - you would be dominate when people sit not too far next to you. Although it’s a heavy scent, I still find that women can wear this easily, so it’s completely unisex IMO. From a further distance the scent is sensual, powdery, quite feminine and special. I’ve never smelled anything like this before. (Ive fallen in love with Italian niche fragrances, must try more of them, wow) The fragrance itself smells a bit like coconut, but not in a cloying way, not that ordinaire sweet suntan lotion scent. Not at all, it’s a more serious and mature coconut, the coconut is bitter and mixed with oud. I definitely smell oud here, it gives the fragrance a minty opening (I recognised it immediately), but this just hangs around for 1 hour and settles down. The cocos stays the whole time, so quite lineair (if I say it correctly). Its not boring at all. The smell is exactly what the notes describe. But it’s not for everyone. If you are a sweet type, you like sweet roses vanille from Mancera, you’ll be disappointed. but it is so well blended, not one note sticks out, so this is a very versatile scent. For every season and occasion. Does it remind of a cocos island like the fragrance says?: yes, a wooden boat, campfire, coconuts and the smell of the sea. The drydown is similar to Aoud exclusif. Definitely signature scent worthy. 9/10

Opening is unremarkable. Kind of like a minty, coconut. Soon after the oud (like a montale-esque 'oud') kicks in. So yeah, like a semi-sweet, non-opaque, oud/coconut/mint thing. It's not bad, but it's kind of boring.

not your sweet coconut scent, heavy but still well balances shocked that theres not a review, so here ya go! Id get a sample before a blind buy again its a beast of a scent!
