    What a spectacular perfume! Was my signature scent, I had the body lotion, shower gel, body oil, which helped the layering and staying power. An immediate cloud of almond and violet, which develops into a flowery, powdery duvet that I could lounge in for months. The deluxe edition had a stunning bottle and a velvet box which I guarded jealously for years, using every last drop. I miss this perfume so much.

    Being a McQueen devotee I SO wanted to love this but alas! I can only say that it smells nice but not outstanding. It starts off quite intense and settles down within an hour to a more mellow and powdery scent but none of my friends liked it enough to comment on it either on me or themselves when they tried it too. In fact after wearing it for the 3rd time this week (one day on one day off) it still hasn't grown on me. I suggest you don't buy a bottle "blind", get a sample first before spending your £. Bah!

    ITS LOVELY.DRYS DOWN QUITE QUICKLY TO ALMOND AND VIOLET.I HAVE TO SPRAY COPIOUSLY TO GET THE SCENT TO STAY BUT ITS STILL LOVELY.I THINK A BODY CREAM MAYBE ALMOND LAYERED UNDER WOULD HELP WITH THE LONGEVITY.IM GLAD I BOUGHT IT,I HAD IT BEFORE AND SOLD IT,DIDNT APPRECIATE OR UNDERSTAND THE NOTES AS I DO NOW.FOR ME EVEN A BL8ND BUY WOULD BE OK,THERES NOTHING TO LOSE,A SPECIAL PERFUME,JUST NEED A FEW EXTRA SPRAYS...
