Western Leather Black

Western Leather is sophisticated and classy. At first spray I smell the lavender with a very soft amber. There is some citrus and vetiver BUT I do not smell vanilla. It can be worn casual or formal. I sprayed some on a piece of paper and my whole room smells like it. The bottle is beautiful and comes very well packaged.

Very unique. Wearable. Classy. Both formal and casual. I smelt it once and unfortunately they didn't have a bottle to purchase. Been hunting for it ever since. Hard to find. But lovely.

To me it smells like longer lasting and heavier version of Salvatore Ferragamo F by Ferragamo Pour Homme, as if dash of the Boadicea Victorious Explorer been added to it. The name Western Leather is very misleading. It neither has leather in its ingredients, not is has any leathery accord in it. Maybe with stretch of imagination it could be described as somebody try to clean off some syrup spilled on suede with lavender scented cleaner? This would be as much as this scent could be related to leather. Don't take me wrong, though, it is undeniably good and, although sweet, masculine scent. If you like sweet, aromatic or ambery scents - you definitely won't be disappointed. If you expecting leather - you will be. This could make either great or absolutely horrible gift to someone who loves this types of scents. And not because of perfume, but rather because of packaging/presentation. As all of Alexandre.J perfumes its presentation strives to be luxury, but comes a little bit short of the goal. It says expensive, but fails to say classy. It is not luxury of old aristocracy, but rather kitsch of newly rich. I would say it could as easy impress some as it could offend others. I definitely would not pay $160-180 asked full price for it, but it could be found for $90-100 at discount retailers. I was lucky to grab it for $59 at clearance sale, otherwise, to be honest, I wouldn't buy whole bottle. It is definitely cold weather perfume, too heavy for Summer. Western Leather is a superb masculine scent, lightly sweet, deep, complex and classy. The longevity is long lasting and the sillage really heavy. It opens quite fresh and deep to become after some minutes, a heavenly deep leather scent, with some vanilla notes. I also get myrrh although it doesn't exist at the list here. I can imagine wearing it with formal clothes, suit or quality clothes, some cashmere but not with casual. I think is too heavy for a woman, or to be honest, this scent is at the limit of tolerable for a woman so I consider it as men's only. And finally, the design of the bottle is fantastic, it reflects its ingredients and is very nice at the touching. This is pure quality, definitely worth the money.

This is a spicy-ish leather with a splash of citrus. Where many go dense, this goes light. I enjoy the unusual perspective, but i can't say that it's something that's uber pleasing - or displeasing for that matter. just a blip on the map i suppose. 5/10

چرم مخفی وسترن لدر؛یه عطر خاصه که تلاش میکنه تا نمایش متفاوتی از آکورد چرمی ارائه کنه.اما نکته ای که جالبه برام اینه که بیش از اونکه بخوام اون رو یه عطر چرمی بدونم؛باید بگم که این عطر یه حقه ی بویاییه که در رسیدن به این هدف موفق عمل میکنه. اینجا هیچ خبری از حس چرکین و انیمالیک چرم نیست؛از چرم دودی و گاز دار گرم و سنگین و از بوی واکس خورده و آفتاب زده ی چرم هم اثری نیست. وسترن لدر؛یه ژاکت بافته شده از الیاف گیاهی با کیفیته که با استفاده از مواد مختلف و ناشناخته به اون عظمت و شکوه یه تن پوش چرمی مجلل و اعیانی رو بخشیدن و در نهایت همه ی نگاهها رو به سمت خودش میکشونه! با هجوم سنگین و تلخ و گیاهی لاوندر که حس مرکباتی ضعیفی پشت سر خودش داره؛وسترن لدر خودش رو معرفی میکنه.خیلی زود همه چیز در این عطر به سمت فضایی پلاستیکی و خشک میره که به نظرم از دز بالای آکوردهای گیاهی و ترکیبات سینتیک ایجاد میشه. یه فضای خشن؛جدی؛تیز و دودی که مثل بوی پلاستیک در حال ذوب شدن و تغییر شکل دادن می مونه.این خشونت و برندگی؛به مرور به سمت ملایمت و انعطاف میره و کهربا و حس ادویه ای نیمه شیرین هل به حاشیه ی عطر اضافه میشن. عطری دودی و گیاهی با پس زمینه ای کهربایی و ادویه ای که کمی شیرین و تازست و بطرز عجیبی بوی پلاستیک و محصولات چرمی در حال سوختن رو میده! به مرور رایحه ی رزماری با بوی گیاهی سبز و نسبتا شیرینی که داره وارد کار میشه و وتیور هم فضا رو کمی خاکی میکنه اما همچنان همه چیز تحت سیطره ی فضای چرم نما و دودی و ادویه ای قرار داره. تغییراتی که در این عطر رخ میده در حدی نیستن که بخوان فضای حاکم رو کم رنگ کنن و یا حتی بخوان باهاش به تعادل برسن؛بلکه در حاشیه هستن و به اون آب و رنگ میدن؛تلطیفش میکنن و در نهایت باعث میشن آراسته و شیک جلوه کنه. اگر چه وسترن لدر یه عطر سینتیک و غیر قابل درکه واسم؛اما عطر جالب و قابل قبولیه. یه عطر رسمی شیک؛جدی و جذاب که در اثر گذاری اون جای هیچ شکی نیست. یه کار ملایم شبانه که هر چند ظاهر خشن و نفوذ ناپذیری داره؛اما در حقیقت سر زنده و مفرحه.قابل اعتماد و قویه و در عین حال مهربون و صمیمیه. درسته عطر من نیست؛اما کار قابل احترام و خوبیه.موندگاری بالایی داره و پخشش هم مثل موندگاریش رضایت بخشه. ضمنا بسته بندی لوکس و خیلی شیکی داره که حیفم اومد نگم ازش! کامنت:م.ع (سایت لوکس بایر (با امکان تست سمپل

sparkling lavender leather, quite unique and amazingly bizarre. actually i loved it from the first spray. the citrus makes the leather note, the soft amber brings out the personality of this fragrance as virile as it could, and no vanilla in here. the lavender is the dominant so far.quite masculine at max but unfortunately it's not a long lasting at all. (edit 24th Nov 2014): i tested 3 more times and finally i got a stomach ache! it's very harsh and sometimes doesn't work for me specially when im either full after a heavy meal or starving! i was about to buy it but i cancelled it at the last minute.

Western Leather is one of the favorites of the consultants from the entire line of Alexandre J. in perfume networks of my city. Well, what to say: this perfume is quite a nice, soft, positive parfume- as neatly dressed, polite, quiet, nice young man. It opened on me as a gentle and lovely bouquet of lavender and vetiver. At the and I felt new thin-sweet notes of vanilla. I assume, that this perfume will looked good on women.

Really manly. Heavy, leathery and capturing. Bounding you to nature in some way.. Calming you as if it is inviting you get closer to mother Earth. Preferable in cool weather. IMO, it does not fit exactly to young men (-25)... Test before buying it, even though I blind bought it, after being recommended by a friend..

I sprayed this on today after not wearing it for a year or so. There is a serious muskiness I haven't noticed in the past.
