Le Chypre

This radiates sweet on my skin and drys down to a powdery leather. Im almost expecting an oud note but no its in fact balanced. I love these complex notes and my skin does not break it down, it is lasting forever! Smells great in temperate climate while testing it on a trip. Fall is here and I am ready to test it out further. Let it mascerate, smells better. Update 4-15-25: after letting this mature, I had not touched my 10 ml travel size for months, I can definitely smell the nuances in Le Chypre even more so. Hany Hafez uses a certain oakmoss that I smelled in another AF frag like Hacivaz. It goes to show how consistent Hany's style shines in his fragrances. This is not a dupe of Palatin, but I can say for certain this is a Chypre-Leather scent. I still dont smell the plum yet. But the powdery - leather accord with the earthy pungeant odor that hits in my nose higher than lower. It is still for me months later. This frag is definitely Unisex.

excellent complex perfume it transforms a lot of times... floral, fruity and leathery with a balance.. at some moments it reminds me of shalimar.. very unique i was expecting something more dark and heavy but it is well crafted and balanced

Opening is a sweet combine of florals notes then the dry down come to an elegant leathery amber note with a twist of animalic vibe. Very complex but classy, not easy to wear for everyone.

First spray on robe, I thought it smelled old fashioned and kind of gross. Hours later I keep passing by my robe and keep thinking something smells so nice kind of leathery and sweet. Have to wait for dry down it's so pretty, opening is really unpleasant to me. Not a mass appealing fragrance but great for people who like a little bit more complex perfumes.
