Oasis Water

Really liked this one from first wear from a sample, then purchased a bottle right away and like it very much everytime I wear it. This is a very easy to wear scent, all the notes are blended together nicely. It's creamy, woodsy, aromatic, fresh, very uplifting. Feels more like a day time fragrance although this one feels like it could be worn anytime anywhere any season. Lasts about 7-8 hours on me with sprays on clothes, until I have to search for it. But for at least 6 hours it projects well , it's more airy, and leaves a small trail. I get the smell with every inhale through my nose for the entire time. This is 7-8 hours at a bakery where there are competing smells and my clothes typically absorb those aromas from next to an oven all day, so it could probably last longer in a different setting. I did wear this to the gym the first time I tested wearing it and really liked how this projected when you heat up. Overall very nice fragrance, easy to wear, well blended/balanced notes.

Strong citrus and soapy scent in the opening, but it drys down with a fresh and sweet from the vanilla. The Sandalwood, Orris and Pine needles remind me of a fougere influence with all the barbershop hair products and powder. Its neat, I think the OG Gypsy Water has a far stronger woody scent which is what got me interested in AF inspired version. Almost close, this is defintely satisfying! Who knows how it will smell over time Update: 2/27/25 it still has that fresh lemon clean scent, but the xry diwn is pleasant like a fresh vanilla cake with lemon zest in the batch. Overall this is more feminine on my skin.

Soft woods,soft spices and soft citrus. This is a super delicate scent. Very reserved. Kinda like somebody that really doesn't like frags but wants to put something on other than body spray. Sandalwood sticks out the most then the powdery orris with a vanilla base. The citrus notes are gone within minutes. Easily can be worn all seasons and all occasions except for after hours.

I've let this sit for a few weeks to macerate. I guess it needs more time or it's not a close dupe? It's soft & powdery compared to the sharper notes in the original.

The scent itself is very designer-ish, but it’s pretty mass appealing. It doesn’t smell nothing like Gypsy Water. Alexandria clones are usually a hit or miss. This is definetly a ”miss”. Not a bad smell, just mor powdery than the OG.
