Silver Wood

I’ve sampled 42 fragrances from Alexandria (via the 7 scent build-your-own sample sets) and I own two. I’ve never smelled Bois d’Argent, but this fragrance I think is really good. Clean, fresh, but not blue, and relatively booming for the lighter scent profile and long-lasting. Dries to a slightly sweet white musk—really very nice. One spray on back of hand and I get light whiffs in the air 5 hrs later. I’m going to wear the sample for a few days in a row and see what happens.

Finally an inexpensive alternative to Dior Bois d'Argent!!! This is my first fragrance from Alexandria Fragrances and it won't be my last. I can't comment on its performance yet. I just got it in the mail today. So far though, its a perfect fragrance. I look forward to trying other perfumes from this house!

The first time I tried it I didn't get any smell at all, I even thought I was scammed!, but after letting it rest for a while I think this is a lovely scent. It reminds me of opening a high quality coloured pencil box.

Very good, very long lasting, Reminds me of Bois d`Iris Van Cleef & Arpels and the Dior Bois also. Very good and full bottle worthy for me. ❤

Grabbed my well-aged bottle of Silver Wood the other day, and thinking it was something else (Wasted Moment), layered it over Guerlain Heritage EDT -- and the results were fairly stunning. All the throwback patchouli stylings but more modernized and complex in a very good way. I don't know the OG Bois d'Argent this was based on, but I can tell you that this is some fine juice, if a bit on the shy and short lived side. But layered, it really sticks around and provides a nice, greenish woody counterbalance.
