Sunday Morning

Fantastic alternative for a spring/summer vs the standard citrus strong aquatics. This is more subdued. Goes on with a softer lemon combined with orange blossom. The two pair extremely well together to give you something a bit unique. Dry down retains the orange blossom and clean soapy musk comes forth. Ultimately, one will pick up the Ambroxan note...but only to add depth to the overall DNA. Lasts about 6/7 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate at best...but I like the way this one projects for what it offers. I see this one as a gentlemanly office fragrance. A man would stand out from the crowd with this. Saying that, it might lean a bit feminine for some...but that’s the beauty of this. Guys that are comfortable with themselves, and pull this off, will be unique and stand out. Overall, it is a very affordable option to the OG. It might lack a bit of the OGs naturals, but not enough to tell the two apart in the air. I would certainly recommend sampling before purchase...certainly not blind buy worthy.

I really enjoy this. I deff think that it does make a great alternative to MFK Petit Matin. Of course it is not an exact replica but it has a similar effect on the senses. I don't regret grabbing a bottle of this and love it for spring. The mellow citrus and lavender tempt my nose at the beginning and the ambroxan gives it that "just cant stop sniffing" quality. It is like the brisk wind made its way through a lemon tree before blowing over to me. After the citrus fades the florals and musk stay close to my skin. It smells clean, and a little soapy on the dry down. I am a big fan of citrus scents and this one is done very well. Don't expect to be a show stopper with this one. It's not loud, but someone will get a whiff of you walking by, or standing next to you at target and think that you smell nice no doubt.

An absolutely perfect rendition of one of my top 5 favourite fragrances, Petit Matin. A superbly naturalistic, luminous and ultra refreshing blend of citrus and florals to awaken and uplift the senses, making every morning feel extra special. Au revoir MFK and good morning AF, I’m a total convert and I won’t be saving it just for Sunday! 10/10

If you like Boschetti Della Costa, then you will love this similar release from Alexandria fragrances which has even better performance. Definitely worth a try.

Sunday morning church service: an initial hit of pews recently rubbed down with lemon oil, then sweet old church ladies scattered around with fresh floral perfumes. Lovely.
