Visionary

This smells amazing 😢 I agree with the guy below me who says this opens up with more citrus. It's not a one to one for imagination because of that. But as a citrus lover, I personally like that alteration. After 30 minutes I detect when the ginger and tea start coming to the forefront. Which rounds it off nicely, and brings it closer to the og. All in all, this is a beautiful, yet more masculine take on the imagination dna. Heavily recommended I'll make an edit to talk about performance later. I've only had this one for an hour Edit: Damn i forgot to update this lol. It's been about two months and i get about 6 hours with moderate projection before it retreats closer to the skin for another 3 hours. Altogether 9 hours. I'd say this is a spring and summer masterpiece. Final rating 9.4/10

I've owned this for nearly a year. Hands-down the best clone of Imagination-I even like it better. I have a 2ml decant of Imagination. This is a touch sweeter. I feel that i'm an expert in clones of this frag. I own Dua's Imagine, Al Haramain Amber Oud Aqua Dubai, Montagne's Imaginary, Zara's Sunrise on The Red Sand Dunes and this. This one is very well rounded. Al Haramain is a bit drier/slightly leathery. Dua's is a bit more citric and ginger (I rate it #2), but to me it goes a bit flat compared to Alexandria, Montagne is similar to Dua, and Zara is only 70% Imagination I think on purpose, but still smells great to me but it's also weak. I really do like them all and I can tell the difference blind only on skin. But you absolutely cannot go wrong with this one imo.

Wow this stuff it great! Miles above aqua Dubai, and I would say overall ahead of game of spades full house. It’s starts with a BLAST of primarily citron and orange zest probably 2-3x more than in imagination itself, and ever so slightly more synthetic. Then after 15 minutes, the tea joins the now relaxed, but still very much there too notes, and helps it develop into the mature fresh/soapy/dry down we’ve all come to love from LV. The performance on my skin is very good and I get a solid 5 hours of projection, with still being able to detect the scent on my hand at 12 hours and my clothes even longer. Overall very solid imagination alternative

Very nice freshie! Quite similar to Imagination too, I just compared hand by hand. I am absentminded and when I finally got the Imagination sample, I smelt it on my hand and shirt and felt that "this is so similar to something I have" and then I realised I do have Visionary bottle that's inspired by Imagination. But the picture of the blue taller bottle in this page is wrong, they've changed the bottles in the past 1-2 years so that the main look is identical and only the name of the scent is written somewhere on it, either on side with golden letters or there's a sticker on the bottom (like my Visionary).

Yeah because LV prices are insane even for a 2ml decant. Visionary is 90% similar on skin and like 95-98% in the air. I find that Visionary doesnt perform as well on skin as LV, but on clothing it's good enough. This one is a no-brainer if u like the real thing but can't stomach paying thru the d1kwhole for $7 worth of aromachemicals in a $5 bottle. I’ve tried 120+ Alexandria fragrances over the years via their sample sets and for me this one is the best or one of the couple best, hands-down.

Visionary is so good that now I want to buy LV Imagination just to see which smells/performs better. I'm getting about 9 hours on my skin. I got multiple compliments from coworkers wearing this on the first day. Would definitely buy this again. Update: I now have LV Imagination. They are so close in scent and performance that it would be stupid for me to ever buy Imagination again.

it open with citrusy soapy and after 20 minutes i can smell the ginger. i cant smell any tea notes. the longevity and projection is awesome. you can still smell it on shirt after a day. i havent smell the OG but this visionary is wonderful scent. the price is 1/3 of the OG price which is still ok. 4/5

I have Imagination and Visionary. The smell is nearly identical. I prefer the smell of Visionary over Imagination. It has more depth, to my nose. Being 1/3 rd the price, is also a win. I'll give the longevity to Imagination, but the rest goes to Visionary.

I have not smelled imagination or any of its clones. I think it's a really good light fresh fragrance. Not much else to say.

Throughout the summer, I've worn Visionary 25 times. I wore it indoors and out in humid cities like Houston and Atlanta. My observation was that it lacked lasting power and projection, despite being classified as an extrait. As a result, I went through a 30 Oz bottle in 25 wearings. As I write this, I'm wearing my sample of LV imagination, which I sprayed on 24 hours ago. I am still getting strong whifs.of Imagination, so on my skin the potency seems MUCH stronger for Louis Vuitton. I understand the possibility that I grew anosmic to Visionary, but why am I not having that problem with Imagination? I really wanted Visionary to perform well, because it smells very similar to me to the original, and it's a fraction of the price. I liked the fragrance enough that I was planning to buy a large bottle, but I will now buy Imagination instead.

Much creamier and soapier version of imagination. Nice spice in the opening. Then it's well rounded, and drydown into a sweet creamy thing. Montagne's Imaginary is much closer.

My initial review was too harsh and I really didn't like the opening at first. It is less pleasant than the original due to some weird citrus?/ginger? note, but it's still okayish. After a while this kinda unpleasant note disappears and it really does smell pretty damn similar to the original and I don't think anyone will actually notice the difference in the air. Side by side it's tougher to distinguish the longer it sits on skin. 7/10. Just like the original, it's a good fragrance that's super non-invasive and a good choice for any occasion. And just like the original, it's just a good fragrance and nothing more. It won't make you stand out, but it will make you smell good.

Blind buy, based solely on the hype and reviews: Soapy, yes. Opening is very soapy. It seems to be the combination in the sour citrus with the creamy, clean neroli. It’s a bit too much like actual soap for me at this point. I just don’t want to smell like pure soap! Be warned: this soapiness endures throughout the life of the fragrance... BUT THANKFULLY, the tea and woody cinnamon save the day a bit, mellowing out the antibacterial astringentness into something a little more balanced. The dry down settles into a fantastic scent- I think it would suit a man on a summer day with a white linen shirt. Verdict: worthy of the hype. Thank you for reading!

I love this fragrance but it doesn’t last long on my skin, even though it claims to be an extrait. I don’t own Imagination but I have tested it several times and they smell really close with the original obviously having a smoother tea and ginger note.

Smells pretty much just like I'd expect an Extrait of imagination would smell. It's a bit darker and closer to the skin lacking the projection that an edp would have. Excellent clone!!
