Jewel

Can't believe this lady has been around since 2005 and we are just now getting acquainted. Let me preface by saying that I don't consider myself any kind of expert, I just know what I like and what I don't. My nose is not so skilled as to read every nuance in a scent, I can only pick out the easily identifiable notes that are familiar to me. At first sniff of this beauty, my first word was "wow", literally. Mostly because of the blast of creamy white floral. She's lovely, but not light, not at first anyway. It settles down pretty quickly to a deep jasmine/ "fluffy" soapy scent. I don't pick up any fruity notes at all, just dreamy white florals, if a bit heavy right out of the gate.The drydown is charming and I am more than happy with this one. It doesn't hurt that the bottle is gorgeous. It smells so familiar, but I just can't recall from where. Trying to remember is giving me a tiny itch in the back of my brain. But I do smell fabulous, so there is that.

This "Jewel" of a fragrance is certainly not what I expected from Alfred Sung! Its beautiful, creamy and uplifting with a tinge of spiciness. The entire note is just harmonious without being linear.....that's the only way I can explain it. And the bottle is completely gorgeous! I am starting to feel that some of these bottles are such works of art it would be hard to get rid of them. I am so satisfied with "Jewel" and think it is my replacement fragrance for "Shi", which my sister bought before I did and I don't want to smell the same way, although we don't live in the same place. Ah! This is my Alfred Sung fragrance, "Jewel" is it. UPDATE: This is so beautiful. I am very pleased with this fragrance. The notes are in harmony and balance. An excellent designer fragrance at an affordable price. I actually did smell the pear in the night time though - so although I love the husky musky coconut during the day I get even more in the nighttime.

I blind bought 3 sung purfumes after falling in love with Pure. Jewel is definitely my 2nd favorite, the opening is loud white floral but the drydown is soft and slightly fruity and creamy white floral . It starts out alot like Shi but Shi has a nice musk in the drydown ... I'm still on the fence about Forever , it's a beast mode floral with a tangy fruity edge. It seems that Sung purfume house has a white floral for every occasion and the performance of the 4 I have is amazing considering the affordable price. I think alfred sung is an underrated house for sure. Update: after letting this purfume settle for a few months it is even more beautiful. I can really smell the orange blossom and neroli in the opening. The sillage is stronger now and it's giving me ellie saab vibes with a soft creamy dry down... It's a love for me, a true jewel in my collection. 10/10

Jackpot! I purchased Jewel on a discount fragrance site in order to get free shipping. My expectations were low because of the price point and I planned on giving the perfume away (I know, that sounds super elitist. I'm getting help). One spray and the decision was made - I will not be gifting this fragrance! It is everything I wanted Maison Margiela Replica Bubble Bath to be for a fraction of the price (and it smells better too). Jewel is slightly fruity, clean, airy, and creamy. The base of coconut and mimosa is gorgeous and makes me feel so happy. While I won't give this bottle away, I probably will purchase more for my sisters. If you're considering this fragrance, just get it. It's not worth paying for a sample when the bottle is so inexpensive. I don't think you'll regret it.

I believe this fragrance is being discontinued. I may have found one of the few available unopened one-ounce bottles to try for the first time. I'm so glad I did. As a person who LOVES frangipani, and who dislikes having delicate notes pounded down by patchouli and woody notes, this fragrance is a real hit for me. If I'd known about it even a year ago, I might have found a larger bottle, so I could have indulged in the occasional overspray. Oh well. I'll savor each application from my tiny little jewel shaped bottle. Love it. Update: Found a bigger bottle at a good price!! Yaay!! 🦋🧡🦋

I adore this scent - it is light and soft, but noticeable due to the coconut and pear. I thought it was a Calvin Klein scent when I first noticed my sister wearing it, due to its clean scent reminding me of Eternity Summer for Women 2019 - but better. It is not long-lasting- but is pungent within two hours of wearing it. For the price, I would purchase and reapply as I am a student and think it is worth the trade-off. Amazing summer scent, but you could get away with it in the winter as a soft feminine scent on a date. Love Love Love for the price - Excellent gift

This perfume is a beautiful, hidden gem. I used to love wearing Alfred Sung's perfumes back in the early 2000's, so I had to check this one out. I bought Jewel for $20 from Shoppers Drug, so if you're in Canada, I definitely recommend checking it out. Thanks to Nutmeg & Almond's review (the one below mine) I purchased it on a blind buy and will never regret it! It has a sharp opening, but it dries down to the most gorgeous floral scent. Definitely a safe perfume for day wear that won't offend even the most sensitive nose. Thank you Nutmeg & Almond!

Jasmine to me. I think it goes well with business suits but also with jeans, open white blouse and black blazer or a low cut satin evening gown or a cashmere scarf. What I am trying to say is that it is about being a woman and attitude. Lasts about 4 hours. It lingers behind you It's a grown up scent-I am not putting down a younger user but I think that it could be strong for you ( it would have been for me at a younger age) Bottle is lovely, catches sunlight beautifully. SUDS AWAY~ I Truly enjoy this scent! In my humble opinion, it smells like clean skin after a BUBBLE BATH! You know the way freshly washed skin smells once you emerge from the bath tub and a breeze hits you? Yes, that freshness! The only notes that stands out to me are Plum, Greenery, and White Florals. I think that Jewel is perfect all year around because it provides a calming, rejuvenating, warmth-freshness that I find quite soothing!

A true hidden gem. You get the sharp white florals, which is perfect for summer since it won't cloy you. However, I enjoy wearing it in winter to be the ice queen. A massive compliment getter! I have a wide collection of celebrity, low-end, designer and niche perfumes and yet this $20 gem is one of my most complimented perfumes. You can't go wrong with it long as you love white florals and something sharp ice-cutting.

This is my 2nd review on jewel... this perfume starts sharp but once the neroli settles the drydown is magical, no woody or musky base to ruin the sweet florals. The longevity is low on skin but lasts 12 hours on clothes. I'm so glad I got a backup bottle a few years ago because Jewel is getting hard to find and more than doubled in price. Jewel has become on of my favorite white florals : )

This is such a beautiful smell. I love the freshness and how crisp it is. The coconut is absolutely beautiful here. If anyone is looking for a good coconut scent without being too fake smelling?! then look no further. I just love it when a perfume has such great notes that blend so perfectly. I'm really enjoying this one and the bottle is just gorgeous.

This is a LOT like Modern Muse in my opinion. And just like Modern Muse, I like this sprayed directly on my skin, NOT on my clothing at all. It warms so nicely into a floral, musky, ever so slightly soapy scent. Perfect for spring and summer, and sometimes just for going to bed after a shower when I want to feel clean and fresh.

This smells like J'Adore by Dior to me n this lasts a lot longer n is easier to wear IMHO. Look at the notes. Both are Jasmine n Pear n assorted extras. And J'Adore has Freesia n i just don't like that note at all so this wears better on my nose. Plus Jewel costs a whole lot less! This is a powerful floral, lovely!

I love this perfume. It is a fresh tropical floral that gets better with age. When I first got it, it was a tad sharp. After a month, it became a frangipani dominate spa scent. My husband likes this, and it is one of the few he has actually said he likes. It lasts around 4-5 hours on me.

Crisp jasmine top notes before the frangipani. Sharp yet delicate. White floral. Feminine. Hints of neroli and orange blossom in the heart notes. Beautiful. Moderate silage and moderate longevity. Beautiful bottle that lays down flat. Becomes better with age.

Jewel is the definition of pretty! This creamy and dewy white flowers scented fragrance is the closest thing I've ever had to my ideal fragrance. Light and classy, it is both sparkling and feminine. This fragrance is a definite must have.

Pleasant, light, fresh, I smell the frangipani and a little pear. The coconut milk adds a little depth and creaminess. All and all a good blind buy. Safe for small quarters, offices, etc.

Am enjoying Jewel. I can see it cutting thro the deep cold of Northern Ontario. Shi I like for summer. Years back tried Pure very impressed makes me want to get them all.

Simply crazy about this fragrance. It just wasn't as popular as I thought it should have been. I always get loads of compliments for this jewel of a fragrance.
