Sung Spa

I would love this fragrance if only they had left out the calone. Even though it's not listed in the notes here, Spa definitely contains it. That note has ruined several fragrances for me - it actually induces headaches! Still, I can't resist a light spray of Spa every now and then, because everything else about it is lovely.

Why discontinue this, and keep the obnoxious Sung Femme? I like SPA far more. I think it's easy going, and inoffensive. The sweet girl, in the acid washed jeans, over-sized button up shirt, and white Keds on her feet. SPA is out-of-hot-shower fresh. Dries down to a clean, musky, salty skin scent. Its somewhat aquatic, but certainly not marine. It doesn't suffer from albumin/egg white, seaweed, calone-itis . This is fresh water, and minerals. Maybe a hit of chlorine. A similar effect can be had with Eau des Merveilles Blue, though they are both different. SPA has more floral notes that are rather dated. They, fortunately, burn off leaving the sweet, musky, salty, wet, minerally, goodness. This is certainly a 90's scent (don't let that stop you). Perhaps Sung's answer to Aramis New West, and the ubiquitous aromatic freshie/aquatic that would soon dominate the market. Now that the gourmand fragrance is not only trending again, but getting even more tooth achingly sweet, perfumes like SPA are for the ones that would rather march to the beat of a different drum. Dry down is unisex, though the opening can be a challenge.

Smells incredible - Yes, it really does remind you of a Spa. Fresh, Clean - yummy!

Sounds divine, never tried it. I love most Alferd Sung fragrances. Classics.
