Bosphorus Pearl

A sweet and delicate natural beauty. Bosphorus Pearl immediately smells like river water, or rain water soaking the bottom hems of my jeans. The florals smell like actual blossoms and pollen. Bosphorus Pearl smells like Mia Sara as a woodland maiden trekking next to a riverbank through tiny flowers trying to see unicorns. It reminds me of that scene from Legend. The rose is candied, but not overly sweet. This perfume is dainty but queen-like. It smells salty... and sweet and airy... and watery... and tiny... and rosebud goddess-like, and it has this complex happy/sad thing going on. The subtle saltwater smell brings to mind human tears, and it makes me think about the more tragic, nature-related aspects of female mythic figures, like from the legend of the Maiden's Tower in the narrative of the scent description. There is something heartbreaking and tenderly innocent about this fragrance. The lilies of the valley hang in the air like white teardrops dripping from their stems. Or like little pearls. Bosphorus Pearls. True art, this one.

This is really heavenly. It's a cool, joyful scent that does not go rank. It fits a spot in my rotation that is currently empty, and is a safe blind buy.

Just so lovely. Definitely Delina-esque at first, but by the end of the day it’s very much its own thing, almost musky or lactonic. I love this stuff.

Very similar to Orens' Yama Rouge. It is a beautiful, realistic, green, spring, creamy, musky rose. 8.75/10 and a Fragrantica score of 4.3 for me.

A scent with this many floral notes would normally send me packing without even smelling... but I had the sample set, so of course I gave it a whirl. And was pleasantly surprised. The rose was a fresh one and though it's big in the beginning, it is a team player and it bows out pretty early. The blend throughout the scent is very nice. Ylang is often my enemy too but not this time. My objection with most floral scents is that they are too rich, too heavy, or too desperately girly. This is none of those things. Sophisticated and easygoing at the same time. Totally wearable and long lasting. Although the wood is there I would not call it woody. And the musk is there but it's not musky. I think it is a party animal that is many things to many people...

White Floral Rose Syrup. Moderately sweet rose syrup, made happy and fresh with a little orange zest and aquatic lily of the valley. Rosy, white floral, syrupy, uplifting, fresh, invigorating, little aquatic, orangish. The syrupy texture of the fragrance might not be everyone's cup of tea. However it does also have this sheer-like feeling to it. It does smell like PdM Delina. Adult women wear for cool weather. "Like".

Yine diğerlerinde olduğu gibi sabit hale gelmesi 10 dakika sürüyor. Notaların yukarda sıralı olanlar olduğunu sanmıyorum. Gül gibi kendini göstermek için can atan bir nota bence ortada yok. Sadece harika açılış için alınır mı bilmiyorum.

This is a creamy rose. Lasts and lasts. Yes, similar to Delina but not a dupe. Projects well, would be great at an outdoor garden party. Sillage for miles. Not for intimate closed spaces though. Be careful not to over spray.

A fragrance that leans heavily on florals and animalic musk, *Bosphorus Pearl* offers a pleasant yet somewhat conventional experience. The opening is bright and refreshing, with a green freshness that feels invigorating. This soon transitions into a fruity-citrusy heart, adding a touch of vibrancy before settling into a more floral-musky dry-down. While the scent is well-composed, it skews too feminine for my personal taste. Longevity is commendable, and the projection remains mild, making it a wearable choice for those who prefer subtle yet lasting fragrances. However, there’s nothing particularly groundbreaking about it. Rating: 3/5

Heavy jasmine on the opening, followed by citronella-rose vibes. The dry down is a little more rose-prominent. Perfect if you can't decide between wanting to smell freshly showered or wanting to smell floral. If you like Diptyque Eau Rose, or the Rose line from L'Occitane (hand/body creams), you'll like this. It's a little too Delina-esque for my taste but for people who like super fresh girly fragrances, this is for you.

I don't have Delina in my collection to directly compare, but yes this rings very similar to it according to my scent memory. A syrupy sweet floral (rose is prominent) and takes on this sharp note with the progression of time, and then that sharpness fades into that Delina-esque sweet floral, but with something that is subtly yet slightly off. And this lasts. I sprayed this on at around 3pm and could smell the faintest remnants of it the following morning when I woke up.

Very pretty. I see what people are saying about Delina similarities, but I don't think they are exactly similar. This is smoother. I love rhubarb, but I didn't like how it was done in Delina. On my skin, the rose isn't as dominant as it is on others. I definitely get a pretty lily note. The combination of notes come off like a fruity floral to me, but I don't see any fruits listed. Longevity and sillage are good. Well done fragrance, but I already have fruity florals that I love- so I would not purchase it. Edit: I wore this all day, went to sleep, and I could smell it when I woke up. It was not overly strong in the morning, but it was not weak either. Longevity is crazy with this one! I am rethinking my above comments about not purchasing....

When I envision perfumes inspired by pearls, I expect something opalescent and luminous, maybe something with notes of white musk, rice milk, or coconut. Nope. Not here. Bosphorus Pearl is a pearl envisioned by someone who has never even seen the ocean, let alone a pearl. They saw a child clutching a sticky cherry lollipop in their grubby fingers, and thought, eh, good enough. This is a rosy-fruity abomination and I actually feel insulted by it.

I think this is a better, longer lasting version of delina. No rhubarb yet you still know this is similar to delina but it’s creamier and overall a warmer fragrance in the dry down. Great offering from the house and a great alternative to delina especially if you are like me and are not super fond of delina’s sharp rhubarb note. I can see this one garnering compliments.

The projection on this perfume is crazy, it lasts forever, spray this on your body and you’d smell it on the clothes you’ve worn for several days. Well done to Alghabra Parfums for amping up the longevity, sillage and projection of this Delina smell-alike.
