Neva Winged Lions

Stunning. Cold and majestic like how I imagine the Neva River in Russia. The Neva lions/griffons (there seems to be a few different lions of the Neva) have intimidating steely faces and regal golden wings. This fragrance is scary-yet-soft. It's harshly confrontational like the roar of a lion, and wistfully ethereal like fingers moving across feathers. The jasmine tea mixed with the cotton flower and violet gives it a sense of powdery, diffused chilliness which is surprising and unique. Absolutely signature worthy for me. If I visited Russia, I'd go walking down a bridge watching the icy floes of the river while wearing Neva Winged Lions.

This is a delightful fresh flowery fragrance. It smells like a summer evening, walking down a garden path, tea lights strung along the fences that are just coming on as the light from the slow sunset dies away. The air sits lightly on your skin and lightly fills your lungs. It is not humid, but not dry. The temperature is not cool, but not warm. You feel like your body is merging with the air. You feel like, with each step, your body starts to rise further and further above the ground until you are wafting above the path like the streamer of a kite.

I haven't test neither Fleur Narcotique nor Levant; but, this perfume is pretty much identical to Paradiso by Roperto Cavali which I have and love. It's beautiful; but I regret buying it. ...... Edit: it is the most perfume I had used for 2023 summer. It is a beautiful deep floral sweet and musky scent, with much more complexity than Paradiso by RC. I find it similar to Valaia by PDM with more originality and more harmonious juice. Big ❤️

Very pretty fragrance. A fresh floral slightly aquatic perfume, but it has substance and matches the asking price. It is a very close dupe to Fleur Narcotique, both in the scent profile (very linear) and longevity. Still reasonably strong after 8 hours. I wouldn't purchase this if you have FN.

Got a sample from Luckyscent. Glad I'm not the only one who thought this was a masculine fragrance, despite being floral. There is something about the violet notes in this one, perhaps, pulling it that way. My wife agreed with me, and thought it would be a nice fragrance for me to wear to the coast. Maybe it's that I'm extremely partial to jasmine but I really like the smell of this. Unfortunately, for me it did not have enough performance for the price. I found the longevity to be quite poor for a fragrance this expensive, and the projection is fine at first but quickly becomes a skin scent.

I like this scent but the chilly florals are rather strong and unfortunately, strongly synthetic. I am reminded of why Antonia's flowers stopped making their signature freesia scent (the ingredients were no longer available). I applaud Alghabra for trying to make a spring scent using modern ingredients but its very difficult to embrace this when you know what could have been

Not sure I'd ever connect this scent with winged lions, but I do like it. Mostly I sense jasmine with other floral aspects, a little violet. Pretty.

This one has a very peachy fruity opening... along with soft and sweet airy flowers. A big variety of fluttering happy flowers... That's why the color of this scent is peachy pink! A la-di-da kind of scent, pleasant but I prefer things with more gravitas. Still, I liked it, this playful little thing... I was caught off guard when I saw jasmine tea because this perfume is a sweet floral... whereas that tea suits more zen and meditative compositions. Its form here is like an ultra refined jasmine flower. A jasmine that's shed its indolic side and put on a cute face so it can be friends with peony. Anyway... this scent also resembles one of the common niche ones, but I'm not going to mention it anymore because half of what I've tried from this house corresponds to some common niche fragrance. I checked if it might be a clone house but it looks like an independent niche house. Tag(s): playful, pink, cute, soft, musky, peachy

Soft floral, cotton blend with a cool, powdery feel. Clean and elegant, but the florals sit too heavy on my skin. Not my style.

Update: Smells exactly like Fleur Narcotique. Beautiful fragrance, I was searching for a wedding scent and sampled many and this turned out to be the one! My wedding was in the spring and the inspiration was based on the tv show Bridgerton and this embodied it for me. Sweet, floral, tea, jasmine, light, graceful, springtime, love! She is so pretty, not too heavy but also not too light, fragrant but not headachey. I did layer it with Delina Exclusif which made it a powerhouse but now I love mixing it with Burberry Goddess (chefs kiss). Neva Winged Lions doesn’t last as long as I’d wish that’s why I like to layer it.

halfway between fleur narcotique and levant...opening has a toned down version of levant's sweet juicy citrus, but dries down to fleur narcotique on an airy musk slightly reminiscent of greenwich village. in comparison, the musk in levant is very dense and tangy to my nose, while the musk in fn is transparent and fabric softener-screechy. like levant, this is a shameless dupe of fn, but of the three, this one is def my favorite.

This is a gorgeous scent. Smells fruity, floral, slightly aquatic and I definitely get the “jasmine tea” note which makes this sooo gorgeous and refreshing. There is even a tiny bit spice to this perhaps due to the freesia note. Very addictive, feminine...perfect for a garden party. Just ordered my full bottle! Smells a bit like Levant by Ormonde Jayne.

I had high hopes for it as I was born in St Petersburg and loved the concept. It’s an absolute dead ringer for Fleur Narcotique. Which I sadly own and don’t like 🙁...
