Silk Rose

very nice scent.. I bought it at Doha Airport... I would recommend looking around the shops if you ever find yourself there. anyways, I very much like the scent. I pick up on rose, strawberry, and woods. Fruity and woody scent. It holds up nicely in hot and humid weather too. When I smell it up close, it makes my nose tingle- I guess that's the pink pepper It would be nice layered with a heavy strawberry scent, if you wanted to amp up the strawberry. This reminds me of Butterfly by Hanae Mori. They have a lot of notes in common.

Opens with a mix of bubblegum (from the berries/fruit notes) & rose scent. Dry down remains pretty faithful to the opening and overall scent profile with the musk gaining some prominence. Sometimes I'll mix this with Essential Parfums The Musc when I want a more musk-forward profile. Depending on number of sprays applied, longevity is moderate to long and silage is generally moderate to strong. IMO this is a great value due to its unique profile amongst more popular scents one encounters in the USA. Update: 2 years later and this perfume has become a real masterpiece. I store my perfumes capped in dark, relatively cool room. Now the berry aspect is more forward and even a hint of tuberose (I think that's where the bubblegum note was coming from in its infancy). This is truly a beautiful scent!!!
