Earth Alive with Gods

When the earth is alive with gods..." - Robert Louis Stevenson I really love it, has a really beautiful relaxing fruity dry down that isn't sweet but quite realistic, very soft. A skin scent, low projection. Kind of has a bubblegum vibe which gives it a youthful spring-summer vibe. 7/10

I do not perceive this as aquatic so much as fresh and dewy. I can see the comparison to the iconic 90s cucumber melon body spray, but a more refined version of that. It's nice. The melon is definitely the most powerful note here, followed by an indistinguishable green note, which I'm guessing is the combo of grass and hay. Great refreshing summer scent! I do not think I need a bottle of this, but certainly wouldn't turn it down as a gift.

This is an aquatic first. The water notes overwhelm whatever forest notes are in it, and project sharply. Reminds me of Cool Water, but with melon. I do like melon, so I don't hate it, but if you're looking for a woodsy perfume, this ain't it, chief.
