"Mysterious". My favorite kind of perfumes are described by such adjectives. I adore this. Alkemia has proven so far to be a marvelously imaginative and high quality oil perfume house. It's got a slight sweetness and slight femininity from the tea. This is a cottage deep in the woods and a roaring fire cooking marvelous things. I think it starts fantastically, it's a 10/10, but the dry down is less appealing to me. Overall a great warm winter fragrance that offers a lot of nuance and interesting perspectives. 7/10

On me it starts sweet and creamy, i'm pretty sure there's nutmeg in abundance; then turns into a waxy rich spice mix. Does resemble spice-scented candles indeed. Not much development from there on.

Complex! I’m smelling baked goods and red hot cinnamon. Looking at the notes, I can imagine this as an autumn spice tea. But more complex. I like it and am happy to have the sample. This is cozy and a little witchy- I’d maybe wear it while watching The Good Witch (a high compliment lol). I don’t smell oakmoss, which I’m fine with, I don’t mind oakmoss but don’t need it in this mix as a noticeable note. There’s something in it that reminds me of licorice - like an anise tea.

very top weirdly smells like skittles, then it turns into a soapy/candle-y pier 1 vibe, like a lot of spicy sweet candles or room sprays mixed together. Not in a bad way. Like cinnamon cookie dough but less food-y. Kind of an addicting smell but I don’t know how much I actually like it. The soapy edge goes away. Like apple pie spice.
