Yule Rose

Yule Rose is a slightly more polite version of Alkemia's Forest Rose. It isn't a light scent though; it's just not a huge, nearly smothering deep dark pine forest, from which you might feel you'll never emerge. (I happen to like that feeling, especially if I also smell roses, but not everyone does.) Yule Rose is more like the smell of an expensive fresh Christmas wreath you've just picked up at the florist's, as opposed to one you found in the middle of a big bin at the grocery store. And you clutched this wreath to your chest when you carried it to your car and maybe got some of your very good, expensive rose scent on it. Mercifully, the rose here is not a tea rose scent, or a rose essential oil scent, or something you'd pour over potpourri at New Year's to extend the original scent. Yule Rose is a really good forest scent for people who don't want to feel lost in a dark forest all day. But it lasts a good 6-7 hours before it begins to fade. And like all Alkemia scents, the price range is great. I don't know how long they're making this. It's one of three of the scents in their "2021 Holiday Gift Bag." The best of the three, in my opinion.
