This had been my signature fragrance till I had it. I thought this had been discontinued. As the fragrance is named after the establishment year of the house, it smells so classy yet pleasant. It reminds me of Blenheim Bouquet by Penhaligon's, which had been my signature scent till it was reformulated. So you can imagine how easily I have got fallen in love with 1975. As soon as I apply this, cool citrus refreshes my sense, and aromatic lavender plus a hint of rose heals my heart. As the last note, silky white musk lingers around my skin. After a while, I found out why they choose lavender for 1975, their signature scent. In KSA, lavender is the flower that brings the spring to the dessert, and also is the symbol of modesty and generosity, some of the attributes of the people of KSA. You could see a lavender field on the previous top page of Al Rehab online shop. This entire blend takes me to the fresh purple dessert in early spring in KSA. I was really sad that I couldn't wear 1975 anymore, but I found a similar fragrance. It's Athar from Junaid Perfumes in Bahrain. Athar heals my loss of 1975. Just for your information, I used to own an oil version, and I prefer oil to EDP because of my skin chemistry.
