Choco Musk

First, can we get this scent accurately named on here? This is Choco Musk Pistachio, the bottle says it on the profile photo. If anyone is trying to find it, it’s not easy. Now to the scent. This is describing the rollerball oil. I am not sure about the accuracy of the notes listed here. When you first put it on, or smell in the bottle, there’s a sharp almost citrus-y note like lime? Not sure what that is. I get zero chocolate, and it doesn’t smell nutty at all to me. I realized it is reminiscent of BBW Sensual Amber when first applied. I still have a bottle from many years ago and there are strong similarities. That changes quickly on the skin. Overall I enjoy it, it’s a sophisticated and intimate scent. But the notes definitely seem off. Edited to add: After a few months, this perfume has turned into a favorite. The nutty notes finally arrived and it’s truly gorgeous. The citrus note I mentioned appears to be bergamot, notes elsewhere are listed as follows: Top Notes: Bergamot, Toffee, Raspberry, Peach Middle Notes: Almond Base Notes: Vanilla

If there's anything I've learned from fragrantica reviews, it's to just skip the EDP from Al-Rehab and go straight to the fragrance oils. I'm *really* happy with the Choco Musk Pistachio fragrance oil. It is, first and foremost, sweet pistachio. It's a little salty, a tiny bit powdery, heavily sweet pistachio fluff. The cacao is light and mildly reminiscent of cocoa butter, which combined with the vanilla accord gives white chocolate. I don't really smell the floral notes people are getting and it hasn't turned soapy on me yet [which I'm SO excited for, because I absolutely love soapy fragrances], but the pistachio dry-down is starting to morph into ice cream. Yeah it's a little synthetic, but that's what you're going to get with pistachio scents. Projection on Al-Rehab scents is just insane. With the oil I just need a few little dabs and I'm projecting like a beast all day. Very sweet, very gourmand, not really a safe blind buy. EDIT: I found the soap/bubble bath in it and it's AMAZING.

Love this fragrance. There is the initial alcoholic smell when sprayed that is common with these perfumes. However, once it settles you get spices and a green nutty smell under them. When it dries down it smells sweet, creamy and nutty but not too sweet to the point where its cloying so it could be worn in the spring time. It almost smells like a pistachio cookie dipped in milk as the original choco musk has that bakery feel to it. I think its sweeter and smoother than other pistachio perfumes as a lot them have a harsh green opening.

i’m not claiming it smells like xerjoff lira but pistachio sits and projects on my skin in a remarkably similar way. i even get hints of blood orange and marshmallow floating through the blend. yes my review of this used to be longer but i went on birth control and i kinda can’t stand it now haha but it still does sit on my skin similarly. just that i currently can’t stand smelling this on myself

I love pistachio, wondering why the site doesn’t list it as psitachio when it has a clear cut pistachio note from the start. It’s crisp but somehow sweet? Definitely a unique fragrance, it smells well blended together like an organized spread sheet. The cocoa scent blends with the crisp but milky scent of pistachio
