Choco Musk Marshmallow

The oil is very different id get it instead. I don’t mind the perfume but it is a little rough when you first get it. Spray it a few times, put it back in the box, and try it again in a month. I wear it now since I did that because I don’t wanna waste it and I don’t hate the scent. It’s not as photo realistic as I’d hope it’s more of a vibe. It reminds me of the scented dolls you’d sometimes see as a child. Strawberry ish, a bit of vanilla and hint of something artificial and powdery? It’s grown on me for sure. It’s unique. I’ve never smelled the crybaby doll perfume but it’s how I imagine it should smell. Strawberry, vanilla, and powdery babydoll lol. I think it’s nice mixed with the oil version and layered with either a strawberry, vanilla, or chocolate perfume. It gives a hint of floral too, almost reminds me of the papery scent of magazine perfume samples. It could be different to your nose. If you’re looking for a syrupy sweet gourmand this isn’t quite it go for the oils instead. OG choco musk perfume is good though if you want a vanilla heavy chocolate- but it also needs to be sprayed and then sit for a month. If you’re looking for a strawberry marshmallow or YBM dupe look elsewhere but if you like a strawberry vanilla babydoll scent, she’s your girl. Also a good price. I hear there are a lot of fakes for this perfume but I got mine from Amazon.

Updated review after having it for a couple months. I gave it a few spritz and then put her away for about 3 weeks. Much better after that. I’ve been wearing it consistently for about two months and I like it more every time I apply it. It’s so comforting to me I don’t know why. It’s hard to detect individual notes for me but there is a lovely candy or dessert like sweetness, a little bit of scented doll, and then vanilla marshmallow. Some strawberry as well, not fresh but candied. Maybe a hint of coconut? I don’t care for coconut but I think it adds a bit of complexity to this, I’m probably mistaking the “coconut” scent for something else. I really like how it smells on clothes and even on my skin. I layer it with B&BW strawberry snowflakes lotion and the choco musk marshmallow oil on my neck/inner elbows/chest. A friend told me it reminds her of the really sweet candy flavored grapes, which I don’t really agree but maybe you get that. Anyway, every time I smell it I’m immediately comforted and feel like I’m in a baby pink cloud. I can’t wait to try other perfumes under the “strawberry marshmallow” notes. If anyone has any affordable recommendations for that let me know. I would probably even repurchase this once I finish it.

I have the fragrance oil, not the perfume. Let's start with the hard truth: I don't like yum bougee marshmallow at all. Their strawberry is way too strong and way too synthetic. Since I'm searching for my perfect marshmallow scent, I still decided to give this a go and am *so* surprised by how much I like it. The strawberry in this version of choco musk is sweet and light and delicious. There is balance between the strawberry scent and the light, fluffy sugar of the marshmallow. The marshmallow accord smells like you're smelling the fragrant insides of a marshmallow, not the pure powdery outside. It's light, it's buildable, I'm obsessed. I literally can't get enough of this fragrance and neither can my husband. I only wish it lasted longer. It's only good for about 4 hours.

trust me when i say this..... GET THE OIL!! NOT THE PERFUME all i've been seeing is people getting the perfume (not liking it) and i dont know why because the original choco musk oil smells 10000x better than the perfume!! - THIS IS DELICOUS! starts off fruity and marshmallowy. as it starts settling you get strawberry 🍓 + marshmallow + choco musk 🍫. - after a few minutes, the strawberry fades away and you get this marshmallow and choco musk mixed together. like a milkshake because it has this very slight latonic feel. veryyy yummy - this is amazingggg in the oil, i just got my backup. on ebay it sells for $8-9, tiktok shop $6. i feel like this is perfect for all seasons! its not overwhelming and its not too light but not too heavy. AGAIN... get the oil!!

Choco Musk is an incredibly affordable every day wear gourmand scent. It is EXTREMELY sweet you can almost feel it pulling on your salivary glands. As many other users have suggested, it’s best to wear the perfume oil as the spray version is all alcohol. And I mean rubbing alcohol! Of all the scents I like to wear, including some expensive bottles, this one by far gets me the most attention. I carry this in my purse as a little pick-me-up for daily life. When a woman likes the way I smell, I simply just gift her my bottle. This comes very cheap! The only problem is that this oil has very weak longevity and feels sticky on the skin. As for the spray bottle, you can just use that one as a poo-pouri and a disinfectant for the bathroom.

Fluffy Pink Gourmand with a Darker Chocolate-y Base... The roll-on oil of this is really nice! I'm getting a lactonic strawberry gourmand on top of a base that is a bit darker with chocolate. This base is hard to pinpoint, it's not straight chocolate or ambroxan, but maybe a cross between chocolate, a hint of Hypnotic Poison Dior & a hint of Cloud Ariana Grande. This would be great alone or layered with other fluffy, pink gourmands, lighter strawberry scents, lactonic gourmands, vanillas, milk chocolates (like the OG Choco Musk Al-Rehab) and more. I'll do some experimenting and post about it in the layering threads. Love it. Enjoy!

Marshmallow is the fluffiest, airiest member of the trio. It starts off sugary and cloud‐like, but quickly softens into a creamy vanilla‐musk blend that feels like warm skin dusted with powdered sugar. There’s a lightness to it that makes it perfect for layering—pair it with florals to add sweetness or with deeper gourmands to amplify the cozy factor. It’s youthful in spirit but not overly sweet, more like a soft hug than a sugar rush. If you love fragrances that feel gentle, comforting, and quietly enchanting, Marshmallow is a lovely pick.

This one needs a good long rest in a dark cupboard for a while before she’s ready, otherwise she smells like straight petrol (much to my initial horror). Got mine about 6 weeks ago, now it’s soft and fruity marshmallow, drying down to a pretty vanilla scent. There’s a hint of the petrol left behind, but it fades quickly, and I imagine if I leave it even longer that may go altogether. The og choco musk is one of my all time favourites, the dry down has some similarities. I really like this one.

New today in my collection. Love that the bottle is the exact design as Choco Musk which helps it fit nicely next to the OG! Cap was on TIGHT, which I love. The juice is a blush pink. First few seconds after the spray was meh but right afterwards, the sweetness shows up: marshmalla, vanilla, strawberry & cocoa! It is a gourmand lover's DREAM. Not sure if it will develop into a deeper scent. Not sure about the longevity. But I already love this and welcome her to my collection with open arms.

One of the sweetest fragrances I’ve smelled next to yara candy, it starts very strong a bit alcohol ish and then smooths out to a a sweet cocoa scent with a mixture of milky strawberries and marshmallows but, you are paying for what you’re getting, for me, I use a pretty complex layering ritual to make it last but it still turns skin scent after 4-5 hours (can’t do anything about that) it’s one of those things where it really won’t last because you WANT to re-spray.

This is really lovely! 🥰 Starts out with a familiar choco musk burst at the beginning, then immediately settles into an amalgamation of all recent YBM dupe releases. Got my bottle for $11 shipping included on Tiktok. The value here is exceptional, especially considering the continual pricing surge for inspired fragrances. Good on you Al-Rehab. Douse yourself in YBM/Cloud Candy/Pink Blush/Marshmallow Blush in the morning, then use this for hourly touch ups 😇

One of my go-to scents for school! None of my anamalic stuff but smells similar. I love this perfume so much! It’s a little bit grandma on me but it makes up for just how good it smells. Doesn’t really smell like marshmallow. More sweet, creamy flowers. Great scent! Overall rating 10/10. Not gonna repurchase cause it reminds me of school so I get a deep feeling of dread and impending doom, BUT ITS SO YUMMY! Edit ; it was too good so i rebought..

i love this sososo much !! people have a lot to say about the spray, but IDGAFFF it smells so yummy on me and everytime i smell it, i can't help but smile :3 the more i inhale, the better it smells. it definitely smells like sweet marshmallow, strawberry n chocolately goodness 💗 makes me feel like a princess and lasts for a good bit of time. sillage is great as well considering the price and you don't need a lot at all 🎀

This smells like Bianco Latte dna or Delizia di Marshmallow dna combined with YBM dna and I’m not mad at it at all!! I don’t think it smells like a dupe of YBM, though. Al Rehab took a note out of The Dua Brand’s playbook and made a Frakenfragrance hybrid. I actually LOVE this! Edit: I have the oil as well and it’s amazing when you layer the two! I’m excited fall is here so I can wear all 3 Choco Musk scents!

This right here will make people literally lean towards you like sunflowers when you walk past them. I have the oil version If you like gourmands at all, you should probably have some. Its notes are exactly as described (rare for Al Rehab in my experience): fluffy strawberry-marshmallow on top, hot cocoa with vanilla extract underneath. And it lasts like 8 hours. Best $7 I've spent lately

I am reviewing the bottle version. There is something I absolutely love about this fragrance, it reminds me of sparkly scented gel pens from when I was a child. Sweet, with a tiny chocolate twist, not very complex but very nice. It has macerated a little bit more and I still love it. It is quite different to YBM, it is more similar to the Choco Musk. Anyway, so good.

I like it. Don’t find it anywhere near as offensive as some people make it to be. Not exactly a YBM dupe, but similar. Choco musk + strawberry marshmallow. Very simple, sweet, yummy. Not over juvenile, but definitely fun. I have the oil and spray. Strap definitely needs to sit for a good month, just like the original.

You’ve got the beautiful hot cocoa base of the Choco Musk we all know and love. Dial it down a bit, add strawberry, a bit more marshmallow and musk to pull her all together. For $8.99 USD, why NOT?! Lasts all day on clothes. I think if you did a blind sniff test you would have no idea what it cost.

Wow, I have to say I'm impressed! For 5.99, you can't go wrong - it has the base DNA of the original Choco Musk, but with a burst of sweet and fluffy marshmallow, with a touch of fruitiness from the strawberry. The longevity and sillage are also great for the price, at about 6-8 hours.

This is for the OIL version only.. it’s absolutely lovely! It’s marshmallow, strawberry milkshake and Palmers cocoa butter! I roll it into my clothes (somewhere it doesn’t show like inside of hems and cuffs) and get wafts of it through the day.

Smelled the perfume oil on my coworker and wow how sweet and lovely is this?! It has a pretty strong scent bubble. It’s a doppelgänger for Yum Boujee and for the price you can’t beat it.

i love this perfume, the oil version tho. it’s so yummy. when i first put it on it smells like YBM but after an hour i only smell the marshmallow and it’s so good

i got the EDP however i have had the oil before. YES the oil is way better because it does not have the alcohol scent but when the perfume dries down oh my days it smells so good and it does linger. notes wise, for me personally on my skin i dont smell any gasoline or much plastic after it dries down but i feel almost like theres a strong pepper scent like a pink pepper(?) depth that i have mixed feelings on. this fragrance also STICKS to my clothes and lasted around 8 hours on its own and after doing a scent routine its stuck like 13+. it does not smell like YBM as the chocolate scent comes out pretty strong as it settles into my skin and clothes. i honestly dont even like YBM that much, its barely any strawberry and too much marshmallow and i feel like i HAVE to layer to get a strawberry smell. in the 1st hour, i get sweetness and pink pepper. after it fully and completely dries, sweet marshmallow, chocolate and a bit of strawberry. i dont get much vanilla, i feel like i had to smell deeply for that vanilla smell but i love vanilla so i like to layer a vanilla lotion! on the topic of layering, if u want more strawberries i recommend layering the "strawberry cheesecake" body spray or oil by bodycology. very affordable and smells so good. last thing, i made my own personal dusting powder using this and honestly if u plan to do the same i recommend adding another sweet body spray. in conclusion: i recommend it with LAYERING!!!!! bringing the best notes out with an oil or spray or lotion truly adds to this perfume and GET THE ROLL ON !!!!!!!

the spray is very upsetting out of the box for me, ive had this since november and it had this weird thick smoky, peppery note over top of it at the beginning. i let it sit for maybe 2 weeks and it was way more bearable. After using it almost daily for a month or two it has gotten way better, the scent of it is especially great when I catch it in passing. Its more of a thick sweet scent, light vague fruitiness, mostly sugar and marshmallow, some spice remains and makes it all really cozy! the oil, which does have its own listing under choco musk, (or 2 other listings??) smells entirely different and infinitely better than how this bottle started for me. it matches these notes better and the notes on the oil's separate listing match the spray better. its immediately lightly fruity and sweet and fluffy, its airy and does remind me of smelling a bag of marshmallows. i am very confident in saying this smells EXACTLY like sponch. those marshmallow cookies with a small amount of strawberry filling that they put on tres leches cakes sometimes. its a yummy scent and its very sugary, id guess the cocoa is giving me a slight cookie scent. wouldnt say it is a ybm dupe at all, just a marshmallow fragrance, it actually smells much closer to strawberry snowflakes from b&bw and they make a good layer on me (* ́∀`)♪

I bought this a few months ago so I have a cheapie to use instead of my Kayali YBM and while I don’t hate this, I wish it didn’t have such a peppery smell to it. I thought it just needed maceration and I set it aside but every month I’ve checked in on it, it’s still quite peppery. The peppery smell doesnt really die down as much id like it to, it does stick around for a while. This perfume does lasts all day on my clothes and pretty much on skin as well. I’d say in terms of projection and longevity it’s on par with choco musk OG. To offset the peppery smell I layer with EOS Strawberry Dream lotion and honestly it helps and smells closer to YBM. Overall, If you’re looking for a budget dupe of YBM that’s cheaper than marshmallow blush and khadlaj candy clouds this is an easy purchase I got it $9, but if you’re looking for something closer to the DNA and can afford it, reach for one of the other two!

I just got a bottle of Choco Musk Marshmallow EdP. Manufacturing date 05/25. My first impression is, I can smell something that's present in Le Labo's Another 13, Juliette Has a Gun's Not a Perfume/Superdose dupes. That sort of weird (but pleasant to me) chemical smell, possibly what other reviewers identify as petrol/gasoline. I thought that was the musk aspect of the perfume, and I really don't mind - it makes it slightly elevated. It's a shame it feels a little weak for now, but as we all know maceration is key. Let's see what happens in a couple of months.

in terms of the initial first spray straight out the box, this isnt as nose tingling as the other 2 (the original and pistachio) and you can definitely make out the smell better, though i recommend macerating it to get rid of that awful alcohol smell to it it definitely smells like a strawberries and cream/marshmallow scent, smells similar to so...?'s strawberry and cream body mist, but because of the poor longevity and projection i think its better to layer it with extra scents

This reminds me of a sweeter version of mocha latte, but the sweetness can be too overwhelming to the crowd. Once it settles though, it dies down to a smoother version of mocha latte and enough to have it as a male fragrance If you are planning to wear this in a hot day... PLS DONT This could be too overwhelming to the people around you in a hot day, maceration would probably give this perfume about 10-15% smooth sweet smell, but wont really change its smell that much.

MACERATE YOUR FRAGRANCES PEOPLE and you won't have all the trouble the people below me have. Middle eastern fragrances have to be macerated. Take note of the season the fragrance you buy is for because it might need week or it might need moths once you introduce oxygen to it. Sweet strawberry, marshmallow and vanilla. I can smell the peppery note. Mine is still macerating. Same with their pistachio musk. MACERATION MATTERS

I smelled this one in store. It’s kind of light and like a strawberry vanilla cake with a hint of chocolate. It’s not like Kayali’s YBM, it’s definitely choco musk with less chocolate and a candy-cake strawberry vibe. Downside is that it opens with a slight alcohol smell initially but the dry down is super soft and nice. It doesn’t last the longest but for like $10 it’s really nice and buildable. 6.5/10

I ordered this even after seeing the negative reviews and I am so pleasantly surprised! To me this is very similar to a YBM or MB but with the sweet vanilla of the original Choco Musk. I have both the oil and the perfume and combined it really increases the longevity. For the price I can forgive the alcohol blast in the opening and I don’t mind reapplying every few hours as it is so affordable.

Three months ago I didn't like this at all; I even thought it smelled a bit like "Invictus." Now, suddenly, I find it a nice, soft, creamy scent. This is chocolate musk with vanilla and strawberry ice cream, I paid €5 for this 50ml bottle; that's nothing for this lovely scent. There are expensive brands that people pay ridiculous amounts of money for, and yet most of them stink.

[I’m reviewing the roll-on oil] Straight up strawberry marshmallow, with hints of vanilla and creamy cocoa butter. It’s sweet and I like it, but it’s very simple and lacking depth. I think this would be ideal for layering instead of wearing it alone... It’s softly projected, and lasts about 3-4hrs. Smells like YBM and all its dupes!

I have the oil as these are generally better from this brand. It sits close to the skin and the longevity is excellent. I dislike the 'cheap' top notes but this settles down quickly into a lovely, inoffensive soft floral vanilla scent on me. This is good as a 'handbag' perfume, not as sweet as many modern scents and very pretty.

When I smelled this in the bottle I immediately went no because all I got was musk. But on the skin it’s a delicious marshmallow scent leaning into s’mores. Don’t get strawberry at all. Definitely very musky but in a good way. I’ve heard some say it smells like bug spray and I can definitely see that. Still like it though.

Just bought the spray bottle. I love the color of the fragrance! This is simple and kinda reminds me of what a pink lucky charms marshmallow should smell like. Cheerful, simple synthetic and short lived, but nice for a quick pick me up without too much committment. Not a fine fragrance, but a friendly :)

had this genuinely awful thick, cloying, spiced scent straight out the box, but i let it rest and now it smells nice and gourmand and fruity. really glad it settled out because the first time i smelled it it gave me a horrible headache

This perfume definitely has huge potential right now I get amazing notes of marshmallow and strawberries, but the alcohol is a bit strong and overpowers the scent. I’m sure after a few weeks of resting, it will smell incredible.

Alcohol opening but after a few secs it turns into this fluffy marshmallow strawberry scent that almost smells like YBM and/or Pink blush by ard al zaafaran but mixed with the original choco musk!

This cute cheapie is another good one from Alrehab, smells like choco musk but with added sugar or cotton candy. Its soft and pretty. if you like choco musk and want a sugary version ,this is it!

It’s my chill day sweet musky scent when I don’t want something too strong but still sweet and feminine. This is my first marshmallow perfume that I actually liked. The Kayali wasn’t it for me.

Slightly sweet and very screechy spicy at first due to the amber scent (not musk) note that is missing from the above scent profile. I will macerate and update my review accordingly.

I made a video about this on YouTube (fragrance Memoir), but my opinion has improved. At first, I definitely got the burnt and smoky smell off of this. (This also last and lingers a long time for me. I can definitely smell it, especially on fabric, the following day & simetimes longer) Now that I have had it for months, a viewer commented and said she just blindly ordered it and asked if it was "toasty," so I actually pulled it out of my collection to revisit it since she was asking. This is my response to her, "I think it can be divisive amongst people. I see some reviews where people like it and others don't like the smoky/dust note. I don't know whats contributing that vibe. I just grabbed it again to resmell it since you're asking.. wait a minute, its smelling a lot more fruity now that ive had it sitting for quite a long while. ... I actually like it better now.. its sweet like Yara but more sweet vanilla strawberry.. its definitely better now.. it doesn't seem "toasty" .. its suits the name MUCH better now than it did when I made this video.. strawberry marshmallow with maybe cacao powder & vanilla. I have bought both the oil and the pefume and can say they do smell similar in the dry-down, however, the oil is by far better. Take into consideration I just received the perfume today, and only started to really like the perfume after about an hour or so of wear, once the notes had started to develop on my skin. I get a very similar feel/smell to choco musk, just more fluffy with a hint of strawberry - not too much. The cocoa note is almost artificial in a way? reminds me a bit of a vanilla-scented candle, but what more can you expect from a £5 perfume? Hoping once I leave it to maturate the artificial note will disappear or become more subtle, and develop into a more fluffy marshmallow-y strawberry scent! Overall rating for perfume: 5.5/10

I purchased the perfume oil of this due to fragrantica user's recommendation- and it's- okay. It smells exactly like the notes listed- reminiscent of Yum boujee marshmallow, pink blush, and sweet tooth respectively but the biggest gripe I have with this is that on the initial application and for like a solid 20+ minutes after it smells like the notes listed WITH black pepper. Like the pepper you season with.. I do not know why- but both times ive used this oil i've smelled it. Eventually it does loose it's pepper smell and smells okay but it's enough to not have me reach for it as often as maybe I would hope. Which is a shame because it really is a affordable sweet girly perfume.

The oil- I'd never buy their sprays first~ After LOVING Choco Musk OIL for 10 years now, I had high hopes. I'm a ginormous Marshmallow lover. So this isn't Choco Musk w/ some Strawberry. This is Strawberry Marshmallow. It's ok, I just won't be buying it like a crazy person the way I always have Choco Musk. Actually, I'm sure this one probably won't get used up. It smells like a puff of air you would get opening a bag of Strawberry Marshmallows. That's it, so if that's what you want, get it! I will prob keep mine w/ one of my Choco Musk oils & mix.
