Zahrat Hawai

Don't be fooled, this can be worn by a man and takes a very strange, polarizing turn. It starts as a slightly synthetic gourmand with a androgynous vibe, reminiscent of Escada Rio, but then transforms into something like charred pineapple juice colada with sweet citrus and alcholic syrups evoking the feel of a tropical beach. It has a beautiful Middle Eastern take on gourmand and woody floral musk, similar notes can be detected in Creed's Virgin Island Water , SpongeBob’s Gary and Tommy Bahama's Set Sail Saint Barts. What a turn! If a person can withstand the synthetic pina colada lifesaver candy opening for the first half hour, Zaharat eventually evolves into a beautiful, tropical, sweet blend of smoky charred pineapple, smoky coconut skins, and old fruit, with a refined, almost sultry richness. It becomes a real challenging fragrance for those who don't prefer true beach like scents. This one has a twist of dark coconut, teak woody sweetness in the base, a fragrance that works on any sex with the right attitude. Beautiful, tropical, opens like a cheap bath and bodyworks spray X Lifesavers pina colada candy and does a 360 into a Smokey Hawaiian tiki bar serving frozen cocktails in the middle of a coconut lagoon.

One-by-one, I've been spending more time with some of my Al Rehabs that didn't immediately "grab" me upon first sniff (my preferences lean toward heavy, cool-weather and evening frags). I had meant to give 'Zahrat Hawaii' a wearing this past summer, yet here I am... on a very-chilly autumn evening, basking in the tropical aura of this delightful perfume... It makes me envision a trip I took several years back to Puerto Vallarta, sitting near the beach with my sister, talking and laughing as we sipped daiquiris and piña coladas, surrounded by blooming plants and sunshine, enjoying the fresh breeze coming from Banderas Bay, making plans for the coming evening. How I wish I was there now, instead of looking at the grey skies and bare branches that greet me here and now...[sigh] How is it that a perfume can be so evocative of times and places? I have nothing else quite like this in my collection. The closest thing is maybe 'Laguna' by Salvador Dali.

This works quite well on me and not many fragrances do work with my chemistry. I was worried that these would be cheap bathroom smelling scents but they're actually very well done. I love this one, it's my fave! Pineapple usually smells too sharp on me but this does pineapple beautifully! It actually smells like a more expensive Selena Gomez. It lasts and projects! I just love this! It's a better alternative to the overly sticky sweetness that turns into a mess of sugar from escada fragrances. Nothing manly here on my skin. This is tropical and fruit done right! Usually fruity fragrances smell so weird on me, those popular ones that work on everybody but me. Well here's a tropical delight for my oily odd man out skin. (Although I'm a woman).

This review is both for the oil and EDP! Truly unisex imo. Love applying the oil on skin, and EDP on fabric. They work better together than separately, and a little goes a long way... Projection and longevity is top-tier, as most middle eastern perfumes are... This scent opens up with the fresh/citrusy/floral notes. The fruitiness creeps in slowly right afterwards, blending in beautifully. The caramel and cedar bring complexity and depth to it, lingering for a while as the base. It resembles a very luxurious shampoo scent NGL. It's one of my favorites by Al-Rehab!

As the name, ”Zahrat Hawaii” or Hawaiian flowers shows, I can feel the comfort Hawaiian breeze scented with tropical flowers and fruits wearing this cute fragrance. First, bright coconut comes into my nose, followed by cheerful pineapple, and strawberry. Finally, beautiful musk wraps up everything leaving the seductive sillage. I use the oil version, and apply a small amount to my skin not to overwhelm the people around me. I can say this fragrance is a head turner. My friends ask me what fragrance I am wearing.

Very nice and tropical smelling oil. It’s quite strong at first, but it settles down, I don’t think it has a big silage, but it’s quite long lasting. I thought it would smell cheap, I mean it does a little, but it is nice and youthful, smells just like an Escada perfume would. It’s fresh and sweet but not cloying. I can see wearing this in the summer, although it would not be a good layering scent, because it’s too overpowering for that in my opinion. I recommend this cheapie, it’s really good for the price.

I can't claim to be any kind of authority on "gourmands", but if the simplest definition of gourmand means "it makes me drool and want to eat my own arm" then here we have a winner. This is sweet, fresh, fruity and absolutely addictive! I cannot believe how good this is! To my nose, there is just a touch of citrusy,sour pineapple lingering in the background but in the forefront, all I can detect is just coconut, sweet, yummy caramel and something soapy and floral. I love this!

As a hardcore warm gourmand lover, I like my tropical fruity summer fragrances to still have a touch of warmth. This is it. It hardcore reminds me of the selena gomez perfume I had when I was a teen. Its A very rich chocolate torte covered in berry syrup and caramel with chunks of bright, cold, fresh pinapple. It's kinda an odd mix of things that oddly enough blend into something fruity and sweet with a grounding warmth.

Blind bought this for my wife as we attended a beach wedding in Aruba. Running the risk of sounding cliché, it smelled of a desserty lip-gloss which I get why people associate it with a more synthetic aroma. That being said, I found it pleasantly feminine, fluffy, fruity and sweet without being overdone. This fragrance projects youth and is definitely estival. It's not perfect but at this price point, it is unbeatable.

Really liking this and it's quite a surprisingly complex one. At different stages I get lilt (the pineapple and citrus soft drink) then something that smells dusty or gritty and then something watery and floral that reminds me of a milder l'eau d'issey. I cannot really detect strawberry nor any of the usual Arab style notes. It's not a grown up, serious smell. It's a happy smell.

This one is on of the best, The Best from Al Rehab. If you want a freshie fruity fragrance, this is it. It goes the same style like Dunhill Desire Blue, Versace Man Eau fraiche. But this one is sweeter yet so fresh. In its roll on bottle, the oil is potent. It gives you the longevity and the sillage you need from a fragrance. Don't apply too much.

I bought this on amazon for under £3 after I bought (and loved) Soft. At first smell I absolutely loved this. The pineapple and coconut notes are very vibrant. It's very sweet, especially at the opening. As it drys down you can smell more of the flowers and the woody notes. Lasts for a while, strong silage. Would totally recommend!

This is beautiful fruity fragrance...It is a very strong pineapple-citrus fragrance with some coconut in the drydown...It reminds me of a much sweeter version of Al-Rehab silver without that sharp metallic note...The citrus manages to keep it balanced from being to sweet. It also projects and lasts a long time on my skin <3

I don't know but i love this perfurme a lot even too linear but very mass pleasing fresh and sweet like a cotton candy, very versatile you can use it anywhere, maybe is too sweet for some people, but not for me. Very safe for blind buy if you like sweet scent. Easy to wear 8/10

This is a lovely tropical/summer scent. I mostly wear it on my hair. It lasts about 2 days on my hair- people always complement my 'shampoo'. It smells essentially like pina colada (more pina than coconut) without the rum.

This is good for layering, and for hair and clothes. It works well on my skin but definitely develops better on clothes and hair. I use it as a base for my summer holiday fragrances and I absolutely love it.

practically me and 2 of my friends' signature scent ! tropical, sweet, fruity, citrusy, florally, woody. it's just so me. it makes me so happy. i love pairing it with coconut fantasy by body fantasies

Its a good tropical boost to add to any tropical scent, overlay this to B&B Works Coco Paradise and I also overlay this to Kayli Coco Vanilla Utopia it just adds a tropical boost scent.

tropical/citrus/sweet/fresh It definitely has that Escada feel to it, but still has it's own thing. Nice perfume, it would be great for after showers or a cool summer's day.

back to praise my gorgeous girl.. zaharat hawai.. the best.. i mean.. so beachy, tropical.. coconut.. pineapple.. sweet.. gourmand. this is a perfume for gorgeousness.
