Bold Love

I found a 2 oz bottle of this at my local Marshalls for $20 (and right after I purchased a small bottle of Dossier's Floral Marshmallow! Ugh!). From the cap, it smells just like LDBS. Upon spraying it on myself I could not detect a difference in overall scent between this and the Dossier scent I own. Maybe if you are a fragrance expert you could detect subtle differences between this, Dossier, and LDBS, but I really cannot. It's a lovely citrusy, sugary sweet marshmallow scent. The main difference I noticed between this and Dossier's version was performance. I feel like this one has stronger sillage and a longer-lasting citrusy portion. Dossier's was more of a sweet scent by the end of the day while I can still catch whiffs of citrus around a similar timeframe with this one. In fact, I feel like it's so strong initially that I prefer to do the whole "spray and walk into the mist" if I want to wear it on my clothes. Both fragrances are really good options if you want to smell like LDBS but don't want to spend LDBS money. Side note: I heard that the Alt site has terrible customer service. I'm glad I could find it in-store so I could smell it first!

Just got this at tj maxx. It was in clearance and I was immediately in love when I first smelled it. I didn’t want to add another thing to my cart so I walked around the store for a bit and couldn’t get it off my mind so I went back for it. The scent is straight up addictive. My bottle was already macerated so that may factor into it. The texture is slightly oily on the skin but there is zero alcohol smell.

If you like sweet scents and come across this perfume, PLEASE BUY IT! This is so good😭 My husband couldn't care less about perfumes, etc., and when I wore this perfume for the first time, he was CRAZY ABOUT IT! I bought it at Marshalls for $20."

Wonderful scent, perfect dupe for LDBS. It’s strong and long lasting. I will stick to this, once I run out of the OG Kilian, and save my bucks 🥰

I love this. Smells very similar to LDBS IMO. The marshmallow note gets heavier as it macerates, which I don't mind.

It really does smell like fruity pebbles and marshmallow fluff. It also smells like an orange creamsicle, to me. It's sweet, fruity, marshmallow-y creamy but also puffy and airy in the air. However, when I smell the scent on my skin, up close, I get a strong neroli note and it's green, citrus-y and even spicy. I love the contrast. It smells really edible and seductive. Almost innocent but a little tempting at the same time. It has a similar vibe to Pink Sugar in that way but they smell nothing alike. I haven't smelled the original LDBS so I can't compare the two, but it does remind me of victoria's secret love orange flower sun from their Limited Edition Into the Clouds collection, and I used to have the Body Lotion in that scent. I just got it today and this was blind-buy and for my first impression, I'm happy with it and will continue to get to know the scent better. Update (9.21.2024): this stuff is strong! i'm talking potent! heads will turn; men, women, kids, babies, pets, etc... Update: (10.18.2024): I finally tried the real one and the alt version is better imho, and that's because it's pretty much the same thing but the alt one is stronger. the only difference is that the original one develops in different stages like perfume usually does. ldbs opens with a spicy, green neroli and settles down into sweet marshmallow, floral puff. but with the alt version you get it all at once. but at that price point and strength it's a much better option.

i tried this at a tjmaxx and upon my initial spray it was STRONG. i was shocked it was supposed to be a dupe for ldbs due to how screechy it was and left it on the shelf. after a couple of hours though i found myself to be constantly sniffing my forearm and low and behold i went back to the tjmaxx to buy it... i cant say it is an accurate dupe because i dont have ldbs, but from all the times i have sampled it i would say its pretty accurate! the only complaints i have are that it is super potent before the dry down and the bottle tends to open a little each time i take the cap off. if you are able to sample it give it a while to dry down and then decide. other than that i absolutely love it!!

Decent LDBS inspiration. My bottle has been on my shelf for almost a year and it's gotten this smoked cigarette note... I kinda like it though cause it makes it unique 😂

Screechy at the very beginning but other than that it's a perfect dupe for LDBS, I own both and sprayed each one on a different wrist to compare.

The initial spray is a very strong scent. Once it dries down, I smell mostly white flowers more and the undertone of marshmallow is light. It’s very feminine to me and you have to really like that white flower smell. I have sprayed LDBS at Sephora many times and fall in love with the scent every time. This one seems very similar, but not a 100% dupe. I’m satisfied with the purchase and didn’t have any issues with Alt and thought the service was great.

Found a 2oz bottle at my local Marshall's this past August. It is extremely close to LDBS, (maybe even a little stronger), which is exactly what I was looking for. I wore it pretty much everyday for a few months, when I was going through some pretty rough life stuff. I pulled it out today after not using it for a bit, and it has officially joined the perfume graveyard. Nice fragrance, but never underestimate the power of olfactory memory.

This smells like My Little Ponies or scented girls toys from the 90s. Upon initial whiff I was immediately brought back to my neighbor's playroom where we played with those things. It's not horrible but I would never wear this; not my thing at all. And I'm a gourmand girl.

I've gone through multiple bottles of the Dossier dupe. I saw this bottle at Marshalls so I decided to try it out since it was cheaper than Dossier. There is barely a difference between the ALT. & Dossier version, but I just don't ever reach for this. I honestly can't identify why I dislike this. I'll only purchase the Dossier version moving forward. Dossier packaging is a million times better as well.

The opening on this is very strong and, to me, a bit overwhelming - I immediately thought of a hippie den in the '70s, maybe because of the sharp notes of bergamot and pink pepper, which combine spicy bite with bitter citrus, mimicking the pungent quality of unlit stick incense. The white flowers and synthetic musk may also contribute to this effect. It's not unpleasant - just not the opening I was ready for! On drydown the middle notes of marshmallow and caramel start to emerge, and things get infinitely better. It develops into a lovely gourmand, much softer fragrance. Spray it, give it a little time to dry down, and I think this is very enjoyable. I have found that a week or two of letting it macerate also helps it mellow out a little, which it benefits from.

This is a great Dior Sauvage clone. The beautiful blend of warms spices with fig, juxtaposed with fluffy vanilla and exotic poppies serve as an aphrodisiac that not even Saint Augustine of Hippo could restrain from. Such a masterful composition by the wonderful noses of Bisch and Jelk.

Bought it today at Marshall's for twenty bucks. A guy at the supermarket said I smelled good and I almost never get compliments on my scents. I guess it works.
