I have loved the original Mojave Ghost for a long time, but it's pricey and I had never circled back around to buying it. I saw an ad for the ALT brand, so I thought I'd try out their smaller bottle of Desert Phantom. Reviews on their site are great, but just to be sure I ordered a sample of Mojave again to compare the two. Well honestly I cannot tell the difference! I believe the ALT Desert Phantom to have a little more violet, but that's the only difference I can honestly tell. What a great find - so happy to have this in my collection!

Very decent fragrance for the price

Extremely close to Mojave Ghost. As another reviewer said, I think this is a little heavier on the violet/floral note. It’s subtle but enough to make me feel this skews slightly more feminine than unisex.

I have a Byredo problem. I fall madly in love with their perfumes but cant afford them. So, I decided to not smell Mojave Ghost, to order a dupe of it from ALT so I wouldnt compare and be disappointed. I wanted to love this. It is terrible. It has a sourness to it, and because it doesnt have a beginning, middle and end, you are stuck with the sourness the entire experience. One dimensional, unbalanced, my dog hates it. I will push it back in the closet, maybe it will macerate or smell better in the summer. I wont try Alt again.
