Tuberose in Blue

Tuberose in Blue is a recent discovery and I have to say, this must be the most pleasant tuberose that I have come across. And by 'pleasant' I do not mean too clean or too innocent. Perhaps just a bit indolic, but it is soft and fresh and definitely safe for work. Could easily become a favorite if I decide to buy it. That being said, I'll just leave my comment here. The world needs to know about this perfume!

I got my sample and put it on straight away. Should have spritzed only once.. wow this is strong. I love both tuberose and heliotrope but/and these come together too confidently here. I have a bit of a headache admittedly. It's a showstopper for sure and a very classy scent (but it knocks me out).

A beautiful perfume. The tuberose is absolutely lovely. If it were in my price range and if I could find it, I'd say this would make a great gift for a woman. I'm not big on assigning gender to fragrance, but this seems very womanly to me. And for a grown-ass woman, at that.

Just to reiterate the comment below. This is a beautiful Tuberose scent. If you love Tuberose this is definitely worth a smell.

I do smell the tuberose in this and I do like it, but it isn't the most natural smelling tuberose I have ever smelt and I'm missing some of those loud indolic and slightly spicy characteristics I get from tuberose that I love so much. The natural smell from the flowers make me go crazy like a moth pollinating them when the moon comes out! I got a strong vanillic undertone from the heliotrope and a sort of slightly smelling gym sock smell from the freesia, which I'm not a fan of. But then again, I really loathe the smell of freesias, even from mother nature herself. I got moderate projection and a wear time of around 5 hours, so not a beast by any means but you get a decent bang for your buck, despite this being slightly overpriced for what it is. It is nice and feminine and would work during the day in both spring anr summer though, which gives it some versatility and also a happy and care free vibe. Altogether, I'd give Tuberose in Blue by Altaia a rather respectable 7/10. It is nice, but nothing particularly amazing or memorable in my opinion.

I do find indolic tuberose a bit headache inducing tbh, so I generally avoid it. The SA at Mecca really wanted to show it to me though, so I smelt it on a card first. I was pleasantly surprised that the tuberose isn't heavily indolic, it's fresh, light and soft. I think this would be lovely in spring, it's a pretty floral scent. It lasted about 4-5 hours on skin with sillage to arms length. I liked it but I won't indulge in a FB myself, just because tuberose isn't my favourite. But if it's up your alley, it's worth it for a light and fresh spring scent.

Just received my sample set from Italy. I started with this one, because I love a soft tuberose, especially in the warm weather that we have right now. I sprayed it on (a 'normal' amount) less than an hour ago. At first, it was indeed soft, a nice but extremely generic tuberose - and not much else. Absolutely nothing special, and I was beginning to wonder if it was even remotely worth its very steep price. Well, let me tell you: the answer is no. Absolutely not! If only for the fact that it has already faded, disappeared into nothingness. On the upside, at this rate I'll be able to try all eight samples in a day or two. But so far, the romance between me and Altaia seems doomed. Will keep you posted!

Tuberose in Blue by Altaia 3/5 Loved this on first impression, loved the tuberose and heliotrope combination. Felt very ethereal and faerie like. It's fairly approachable, not getting any of the citrus mandarin note. Goes a bit bubblegum. Spouse says it smells like a flower, maybe jasmine. Smells nice for a few hours then becomes a skin scent. Purchased sample from The Scent Room. Wore at home. Would not purchase.

Hm, I blind bought this, and I am truly disappointed. Its quite fruity and therefore young. I donʻt get the tubereuse scent, just muget and mixed white floral bouquet which smells rather artificial. If anyone wants to trade or buy at a discount, PM me. I wore it only twice :(

A feminine, linear, straight down the line tuberose. A great 50/50 split between the two sides of tuberose. It balances the sharp white floral elements with the bubblegummy sweetness.

I Cannot wait to get my hands or shall I say my nose on this.
