Yu Son

love love love this -- perfect green iris skin scent -- there's almost a subtle mate quality about this scent a gentle roundness. On blotter it gives a sort of J&J baby oil smell, but on skin, it's such a lovely slightly tea, slightly green, citrus/iris scent. The citrus in this is distinctly tangerine to me. This is very comforting and it feels like a cross between a Petit Mamans mother/baby scents (maybe Irish Leather is mother here?) and white tea bougie spa scent. Personally, I love it. Smells like: tangerine, iris, mate, white tea

I like this a lot. It opens sweet and citrusy and fresh. I get a hint of florals but they are by no means the star player and this is scent is absolutely unisex. I don't get a huge longevity or sillage from this despite it being an EDP. After about 2 hours it retreats to skin scent on me. At over AU$300 a bottle, that's not enough longevity to justify a FB.

Very earthy green tea fragrance. The green tea settles down after a bit and the sweet powdery iris peeks through. I like it but not sure I understand it yet.

I like the funky vegetal quality of the orange blossom-like mate tea note, green tea from Argentina, with a pulpy mess of mandarins. Fragrance: 7.5/10, Longevity: 7/10, Sillage: 6/10, Flacon: 8/10.

Very pleasant fragrance. Its a warm sunny morning: fresh, and green. It is on the sweet side, and I wish there was a bit more green tea. Overall, it is lovely like a favorite lightweight cardigan.

nice solar, some greenness and citrus to it. nothing crazy but inoffensive and light--nice for everyday wear. a little soapy for my taste but i like the green tea scent.

bright, green, aquatic, tea fragrance that reminds me of 90s/early 2000s perfumery. Bold, sharp opening fades to a floral-woody base by hour 4-5.

It's not bad, but I can't get past how much this reminds me of Boot's insect repellent. A shame because ALTAIA's Don't Cry For Me is one of my favourite frags so I was expecting to enjoy this.

REALITY : You're gonna smell almost nothing but Mandarin peels at first sniff (but they are slightly sweet and airy like you're sniffing the peels inside with an air conditioner on). Then a green powder comes in. Let it sit long enough (20-60 mins) and that's when you'll understand my review. REVIEW 🦪: This scent is breathtaking. It’s a powdery green fragrance that opens with the smell of mandarin skins, like you’re holding a basket of them barely ripe at dusk on a farm while mist slowly rises from the grass. There’s this serene calm to it, but somehow the sunlight is still glowing inside the scent. It’s milky green over moss with these warm, shocking technicolor oranges floating through it. On my skin the opening is mandarin peel everywhere, and underneath that is this soft powdery green accord. Not cosmetic powder, not baby powder. Just something undeniably green. Not matcha exactly. More like grass that’s been warmed by the sun and softened by evening air. The green tea note isn’t literal tea bag tea (I’m a tea lover so I’m picky about that). Instead it feels like the idea of green tea drifting through the air. There’s orange blossom and iris in the heart but they melt together into this buttery smooth floral haze. I think the iris is what creates the powdery texture, even though you never smell “iris” directly. On my skin it reminds me a lot of Jouissance – En Plein Air, just without the strong lime. If Yu Sōn had rainwater and musk in the notes and I didn't know any better (like En Plein Air), I’d believe it. IT’S MAGICAL. AND IN A STRANGE WAY IT FEELS HEALING. Warm, soft, comforting. Like sunlight lingering on skin at the end of the day.

I just received a sample of this with my order from beautyhabit.com. I would like to say before my actual review that beautyhabit.com offers a HUGE selection of niche and hard to find frags with good prices. Not only that, they personalize every order with written notes and match your samples to your taste. It is WONDERFUL. Now, on to this beautiful fragrance. I am a citrus/neroli/wood lover. I also enjoy sweet citrus frags. This one I can smell the mandarin and orange blossom all the way through drydown. It begins with neroli and citrus (some kind of bitter citrus) but yet does not smell sharp. I do not smell the tea note on my skin. The amber and wood arrive about 15 minutes after applying. It is an all-around great fragrance with unbelievable longevity for a citrus based frag. If you like citrus, this is a great investment. Rather than purchasing multiple mainstream citrus frags that last not more than one hour, I wish I had just bought this one in the first place. It is lovely.

A nice tea fragrance for those who love Bvlgari the collection and such fragrances as Kilian Bamboo Harmony, Guerlain Neroli Outrenoir. A mild neroli start soon transforms into sweet grapefruit mixed strengthened by a dry greeness of tea. The tea note (green tea I admit) is similar to that in Bvlgaru Au the vert, Bamboo Harmony etc. Finally, there is a big amount of ambroxan that you will smell from the beginning to the very end of development. Yu Son is not loud, though has a decent longevity. Being sweeter than most tea fragrances it will become a nice addition for all tea lovers in perfumery.

Lovely and pretty straightforward fresh floral tea scent. I particularly like how the green tea is done here. It is very soft and agreeable, but the longevity is poor. Great to sample as a tea fragrance lover, but nothing I need in my collection.
