Alyssa Ashley Green Tea Essence

I cannot describe how much I love this little gem. It's deceptively simple, yet has its own complexity of aromas that create a synergistic, refreshing whole. It is green, herbal, aromatic, and soothing. It is everything an aromatherapy perfume should be at such an amazing price. This perfume went from a like to a love in a matter of weeks. It's a nice fragrance that grows on you. It's a nice blend of citrus, green tea, lavender, nutmeg, and violet. Suitable for every day wear and before bed.

Such a lovely and natural scent. Not much citrus, but more like the fresh spring wind carrying floral notes. The price is a joke, it is so cheap and, it lasts quite long and has a really good projection. It is similar to "Ô de Lancome" vintage (but no citrus burst) and also has a hint of "4711". It can not possibly offend anyone since it is very natural and fresh. I will enjoy this one in the spring and summer months.

I think it is a fresh fragrance..unfortunately I have only hand & body moisturiser of this perfume but in this spring...I will buy it!!!!

I have the oil. I cannot believe that this doesn’t have any herbs in the notes. On me this is super herbal. Maybe this is what other people recognise as lavender, but I’m only getting a hint of that. Specifically it smells like sweet thyme and citrus! It has the herbal woodyness you smell with fresh sprigs of thyme. I think I love it. Pretty sure the edt spray I got was off as it smelt awful and nothing like the oil, but if you can get the oil this is a lovely herbal green scent. Fresh and subtle, certainly a skin scent! *Edit* I think it's the Melon in here that is making me love it. If you're looking for a fresh scent with melon in it this is a brilliant one! I also recently bought the spray and although the oil is still my favorite, the spray version is great to layer on top and spray on clothes. Oh and the notes listed on Alyssa Ashley’s site are.... The fragrantica notes are wrong, I have it and I realized that because I do get the green tea note, its one of the base notes, on Alyssa Ashley's own website is stated too. How can you not smell the green tea? It performs better on my skin than Elizabeth Arden's! It lasts about 4 hours and on clothes, at least 10 hours. I leave the correct notes, Fragantica, could you please update them? Top: nutmeg, lemon, Sicilian bergamot, melon and lavender. Heart: violet, freesia, jasmine, and rose. Base: iris and green tea. It is a unisex fragrance although when drying down I notice it more feminine because it has powdery floral feeling of the iris, the violet, the jasmine. I would recommend that you try it on skin before getting it, and it is very pleasant to the nose, not bitter at all!

This is a unisex green neroli citrus scent. The neroli note reminds me of CKN2U, and Neroli by Aubusson. It's great for running errands, gym, work. Longevity is not something I'm evaluating because citrus scents don't usually last long. I gave my bottles to a friend who wears it for work in a hospital, and he likes it.

This kinda reminds me of the scent of cardamom in freshly baked buns with an added note of citrus. My guess is that the nutmeg note is what creates that illusion.

This starts off super peppery (I assume the nutmeg?), then the citrus joins it. The dry down is a strange, somewhat-powdery floral, I don’t know how else to describe it, other than it smells like my grandmas closet. It’s not a bad smell, I expect many people would enjoy it if you like traditional 80s/vintage style florals. It doesn’t sit well on me. Mostly I’m disappointed with this one, I got it because a lot of people said it was similar to Elizabeth Arden green tea (which I adore but has a terrible performance). This isn’t even remotely close to my nose. But I can see plenty of people liking this one. Performs ok, silage is pretty strong in the beginning but fades quite quickly, overall lasts a few hours, which is fine for the price. I won’t buy it again. UPDATE I gave this to my husband, and on him it’s actually really nice! Citrusy, fresh, floral. Apparently just didn’t work with my skin chemistry. Lasts longer on him too.

I've bought 7.5 ml perfume oil without trying. It smells like some old-fashioned soap from granny's dresser. Fruthermore, I think it also contains aldehydes but there is no green tea. It really reminds me of Ô de Lancôme. I didn't expect that, I wouldn't be able to wear it in public, because it is so old timey. It wasn't expensive but it was a waste of money. update: However, on my daughter it smells refreshing and citrusy, there is no old lady smell at all. I gave it to her on the spot.

Green Tea Essence (now simply "Green Tea") was released in 2002. It's one of those weird, fresh, "spa-like" unisex fragrances from that transition era of the late nineties to the twenty-first century. It's a little late to the green tea scene, with a slew of pricier fragrances preceding it in the prior decade, although Arden's Green Tea was perhaps Ashley's closest price competitor in the under $50 crowd. I will say this about it, Ashley's tea scent is more about green tea than Francis Kurkdjian's scent, which employs a more abstract floral arrangement in lieu of tea. This fragrance mates the tea note to cold, herbal lavender, and the duo is buttessed by citrus on top and a very sheer jasmine in the base. It's cologne concentration, so longevity is fleeting at around two or three hours, but I'm actually enjoying this as a green tea and lavender scent with a hint of floral citrus. If you're looking for a simple and cheap tea scent that actually focuses on the tea note, this is a good option.

I blind brought this for $5.95 on ebay during the winter season. Today is my first time wearing it out in public. A nice refreshing, citrusly, floral, soft, calm, casual scent that was nicely blended. Nothing really groundbreaking about this. This is not a crowd pleaser or an attention grabber. But you can still receive compliments. This scent is in the aromatherapy category. Definitely a unisex fragrance that is more on the feminine side. But men can still pull this off. This great for spring & summer. The longevity is okay. I usually layer my cologne with essential oils that are inspired by the fragrance itself to get the performance that I truly desire. I would only reach for this for. 1)Spring/Summer. 2)Outdoor activities. 3)Job/Office. 4)Running a few errands. 5)Daytime. 6)Dressing casual. I wouldn't necessarily reach for this. 1)Fall/Winter. 2)Hanging with the fellas. 3)Dressing down or sophisticated. 4)Gym. 5)Attending a formal event. 6)Clubbing/Party Atmosphere.

Blind bought this for the price. Very citrusy scent with a touch of floral. Mostly lime and lavender. I couldn't smell the green tea at all. Luckily I love citrus scents and for the weather in my place, this smells very fresh on me. A little dissappointed for not getting the tea scent I wanted, but i am not complaining.

on me, it smells mostly of citrus with a hint of lavender. No green tea at all. But it's okay, it's fresh and suitable for summers and hot days without overwhelming freshness other summer frags trying too hard to be. Of all the AA fragrances, White Musk is my favourite.
