Smoking Lounge

The story behind this creation is beautiful. The perfumer, David Magalhães, was inspired by the book "The Kite Runner" when he read the part that says: "Upstairs was my bedroom, Baba’s room, and his study, also known as “the smoking room,” which perpetually smelled of tobacco and cinnamon. Baba and his friends reclined on black leather chairs there after Ali had served dinner". At first, David thought of calling this perfume Le Fumoir but decided to call it Smoking Lounge. I received this perfume, firsthand, since its official launch will only occur next year (2015) and I am very happy to be able to talk about this fragrance that brings, in its official composition, notes of star anise, cardamom, bitter almonds, and cinnamon, in the output. Finally, the vanilla comes in and makes the fragrance even more beautiful, when joins the vetiver and its smoky facets, instead of earthy facets.
