I got this for like $8 on sale once as a blind buy. It is now one of my absolute favorites. It’s great for layering, on its own, for work, for the beach, anything. Longevity is pretty terrible though and I can only catch whiffs of it after about the hour and a half mark. I’m on the hunt for a dupe that lasts longer.

A clean, fruity musk with a jubilant feel. This review is for the 2025 version of the perfume format. A brief mist review is at the end. It reminds me a lot of BBW Love Always Wins from 2023 with star fruit and airy white musk. Surf for Her is sourer. For the first half hour, its fruit is a mysterious blend of mellow, sweet tropical fruits. It's blended in with the powdery sweet violet (the soft kind that reminds me of Mojave Ghost or Daisy, not the candied heady makeup compact kind.) There is a hint of cedar, but it doesn't stick around. In the drydown, Surf for Her becomes a pale lemon musk. Detectable with your nose against the skin. The perfume version lasts 6 hours on skin. The body mist opens sweeter and bolder but lasts only 2-3 hours on skin. They smell different in the opening. The mist is more tropical fruit then clean, wispy white musk. I honestly prefer the body mist! Surf for Her returns each year for spring/summer. I don't know how much notes vary between releases.

this is a party perfume. cheap, lasts about 30 minutes so you can put a ton on, and everyone will be fine with it. love it!
