Honour 43 is significantly better than the original in my opinion. I cannot wear the original at all. There is a note that makes me sick every single time I put it on. I compared the two and the only difference is the gardenia and the amber in the base along with incense. I'm sure the rhubarb and intensity may have something to do with it, but this current version does not make me sick at all and there is quite a lot of rhubarb in this one. I assume it’s the gardenia that put it over the edge. The extract is phenomenal. Compared to reflection where both fragrances are noticeably different, this one is very similar to the original. However, I say this one is significantly better for a couple of reasons. First, the quality is exceptional and you can tell how it smells. Everything is as close to nature as I think it can get. This is not an interpretation of lily of the valley or rhubarb, but it smells like you are at a farmers market picking up these items. Second, it lasts for a very long time. Typically with the Fragrance notes in this composition, it may not last more than six hours. This baby lasted all day and into the next day. If you spray your clothes I'm sure you can smell it for over a week. Thirdly, this fragrance is perfectly balanced. It is a white floral, but it is not overly sweet or heady. Fresh and clean but not like fresh laundry. More like a freshly cut garden. The resins at the base and the incense do not stand out but help balance out what could to potentially be vegetation overload. In my opinion, the original is too much everything. Too much gardenia and too much rhubarb. I am happy to say this is a job well done and I wish I could afford a full bottle. $500 is a lot, but it's not overpriced. It's worth it. I'm sure many people wish they could afford it and get upset it is out of their reach. It is out of mine as well, but I rather have it be that price and maintain their stellar quality instead of dropping the price and dropping their quality along with it. Definitely check it out.

[1175] I have long wanted to try Honour 43 in order to compare it to the original Honour Woman. It is billed as being very similar, albeit more intense. Much as I liked Honour, a clean, elegant white floral, it has never been up there with my favourite Amouages. I find it to be on the weak side performance-wise for a scent of its profile, price point and house, and its rhubarb opening is a little too harsh. However, I was delighted to find that all of my gripes about Honour have been ironed out in H43. I sprayed both Honour Woman and H43 on each wrist for comparison. They are very similar, but H43 is more intense and well-rounded - a full-bodied white floral bouquet that remains radiantly clean and refined. The rhubarb note is there, but is much more restrained, adding a hint of tart freshness to the opening. The white floral bouquet - the Honour DNA - unfurls as it develops. Creamy, smooth and just the right amount of sweet, it is lush yet clean and is wonderfully elegant. The tuberose is creamy and sweet with a slight bubblegum quality - not carnal at all. The jasmine is clean and powdery, not waxy. Lily-of-the-valley, an innocent green-tinged floral note by nature, is typically fresh and bright, rounding it out nicely. The white florals here are in their most refined state. The tuberose lingers, becoming honeyed as it develops. A hint of clove complements it with warm spice, and the soft woody-amber base emerges slowly, tying it all together. It becomes sweetly musky as it fades, but is still somehow sheer and slightly dewy. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. It wears pretty close to the skin, being an extrait. H43 is a beautiful, utterly elegant feminine scent that seems to illustrate a gentle, softly-spoken woman with formidable inner strength. This is a bridal scent for sure, but is also a versatile, clean white floral. An improvement on Honour Woman. Expensive, but worth it. Subtle opulence in a bottle, it is the clean white floral of dreams. 4.5/5.

I wear this full day today. I found that this last around 9 hours before stop projecting but the scent last as mild soft amber. I enjoy. It keep go on and on. The scent is linear. They decide to go full route White Floral Bouquet. Dominantly Gardenia, with other floral support. The statement seems short.. but.. The Gardenia bouquet here is stable, authentic and most beautiful I have ever com across. And it keep projecting beautifully than 9 hours. Consistent. Yeah, the scent seems a bit less Complex, I own both of more complex side (Imitation Man, Memoir Woman) / and easier side (Reflection / Jubilation) this seems the be much more easier side. You may think it lost charm of Amouage and etc. But the highest Gardenia quality fragrance that performs phenomenally across its life. Without shaper note. It blends in the essence of High Quality, natural like. Not the extra-multi-dimensional. . . They perform more masculine on you guys. My husband loves to wear it, it’s gorgeous! Beautifully blended white flowers, so delicate, charming and subtle, almost paltry. But as soon as you are thinking that it’s not so special it starts to shine and all the notes from masterful base wraps around the flowers. In that moment you realize that it’s Amouage. It’s warm and a little bit spicy with leathery undertones and a signature Frankincense. Honour maintains airiness even in the dry down while Honour 43 has more voluptuous character. I love the way how the florals are made, they are captivating and sensual, almost green, Gardenia keep it fresh and Tuberose is not that typical dominant note over others. Rhubarb in the opening is a little bit sweet and sour, in Honour it’s very restrained whilst In Honour 43 it’s more realistically juicy and it lingers longer with the flowers. I don’t think that OG is creamy but 43 is, thanks to Sandalwood in the base. About the performance: Inside 43 is stronger but it’s closer to the skin. OG projects more. I'm a guy, and I absolutely LOVE wearing this fragrance. Man and Woman Amouage lines are very polarizing because there are women's versions I like way more than the men's versions from the same line. Of course, Honour Man fits other occasions than Honour 43 Woman but the latter is simply AMAZING. It's extremely versatile, you can wear it all year round without any remorse, it's super easy to wear, and as long as you like white floral fragrances, it's very blind buy safe. The performance? Otherworldly. I still smell it on my skin 24 hours. Projection? Very strong during the first several hours, later it subsides but is still noticeable. There's one thing I have to mention, despite the nuclear performance of this fragrance it is NOT overwhelming. It performs extraordinarily but it's subtle enough not to be cloying or exhausting to either wear or smell on someone. Out of all Amouage extraits, I'd say this one takes the cake. Alexandra Carlin truly made an outstanding blend, making the mix of tuberose, lily of the valley, jasmine and gardenia take you to cloud nine. I'm not sure if any white floral blend can beat Alexandra Carlin's masterpiece. Everyone who is interested in perfumery should carefully study this blend as it has simply reached the very heavens. I very rarely get THIS excited about a fragrance as I'm very critical of anything I try but I simply cannot say a single bad word about this one, maybe except the price but that's another topic.

This scent reminds me of pure pristine cleanliness and a lush flower bouquet... This is a luxurious, smooth and extremely long-lasting bouquet. As far as I know from the OG, even though it's gardenia-centered, it carries all the other white florals within it in the most elegant way. That's why it's an ethereal bouquet. The creamy feel is wonderful! No sweetness, suits spring perfectly! ...... I'm going to make a comparison between Honour 43 [H43], Honour OG [H] and Chanel Gardenia [CG]. Even though these three resemble each other, CG always wore me out because of its aggressive cleaning-agent opening. I always wanted to somehow get past that opening and reach the end, and once I got to the end I had problems with longevity. Out of the three, it's the most gardenia, the cleanest and even soapy-smelling one. Even though H and H43 resemble each other more, there's an undertone in H that bothers me, too milky-like... Yet the lactonic feel should have been stronger in H43 because that's the one with the sandalwood. Anyway, something in the composition gives off this feel. H43 to me is the most balanced white floral bouquet, with nothing sticking out, with a stronger fresh and floral side and creamier... This creaminess is like luxury lotion, not like milk. At first spray, it opens with this beautiful, creamy ( not milky) white floral blend—jasmine, tuberose, and gardenia—that feels rich and elegant but not overpowering. I loved how smooth and refined it felt, almost like wearing something tailor-made. As it settles, I started noticing subtle spices and resins (more on the pleasant side) that add a layer of warmth and depth, making it much more than just a floral scent. It easily lasts over 12 hours on my skin, and days on clothes, with just a one or two sprays, and while the projection isn’t too loud, it leaves a soft, persistent trail. This isn’t a fragrance that announces itself aggressively, but it lingers in a way that feels sophisticated and luxurious. While it’s definitely floral, it also has a richness here that makes it feel well balanced. Great performance and definitely have beautiful expensive naturals as it promises.

Full bodied white florals and greenery. This perfume never becomes sharp it retains its smoothness but the white florals are BOLD. I know that many describe this as an excellent wedding fragrance and I don’t i disagree. However there’s something haunting and dark about the way the scent comes together. It’s captivating but also unnerving. It makes me feel unsettled and I find myself wanting to layer in order to bring out more cheerful elements. I can see why this scent was created as an homage to a tragic love story. I’m conflicted but there’s no denying its inherent beauty.

Perfectly matched with an afternoon of admonishing the yacht staff for using the incorrect table settings~ It's been years since I tried Honour; but evidently I marked it as a dislike? Either my tastes have matured to match a higher tax bracket or I just wasn't that in to florals then...as no one seems to find this markedly different. Regardless, I'm a sucker for tuberose extraits and this is a gorgeous white floral that wears close to the skin. The tuberose doesn't really turn up until the base notes on me; but then it glows in a sweet, dewey citrusy aura.

If you appreciate indolic, photorealistic white florals then you are in for a treat with Honour 43. It's not "sharp-and-green" like freshly cut flowers, however, it has a "green aroma" like a vase of flowers freshening up a room. This smells exactly like a bouquet of white florals a couple of days after cutting; stems, petals, stigmas and all. Amouage quality always impresses me and the 43% oil concentration is a testament to that. I know the price is high, but quality wise I do not think you'd find a better, photorealistic white floral.

I’ve completely fallen in love with this one. It smells like confidence, old money, and effortless elegance. It’s clean yet opulent, the kind of scent that turns heads without even trying. I can picture a sophisticated woman in her 30s or beyond, wearing a white silk dress or a sharp white suit, strolling through Santorini or Monaco on a crisp spring day, casually window shopping for art pieces to decorate her mansion in Spain. It’s pure class. I love white florals, and this might just be the best one ever created. A masterpiece.

This is incredibly smooth and well blended. I wasn't a massive fan of the original Honour Woman, it was ok, but 43 is gorgeous. I'm getting sweet, almost honey-like white florals, with a slight sour tang from the rhubarb, though this somehow remains smooth with no sharpness. This is the scent a beautiful, youthful and innocent princess would wear. It is elegance and luxury in a bottle.

Glorious white floral heaven, especially the green note here, I don't know what is it, maybe the lily of the valley note, its smell absolutely amazing and can wear it all year round, maximum 3 or 4 sprays is enough and you will smell amazing all day long, if you love white florals scent, this one is a must try 10/10 phenomenal perfume

If you ever wanted Honour to be richer, more flushed out, this is it. 43 delivers the plush white floral petals. A big waterfall of petals all over. This is the grande dame scent that rules the place but still beautiful enough not to intimidate. My bank account is gonna groan on this one.

Damn it. I’m really trying to find an Amouage that I don’t like, and it’s not happening. I bought a 2ml official sample of Honour 43, and if there was one amouage that I “shouldn’t” like, it would be this. I don’t typically like tuberose or white florals, but I can’t get enough of this.

This so smooth and pretty, I imagine bride wearing this for the wedding day. It’s so gentle and just gorgeous. I remember original Honore woman smelling quite indolic for my liking, this smoother, softer yet powerful! Full bottle worthy and on my wish list now!

I'm really grateful for the opportunity to try a sample of this special version of Honour Woman. Honour 43 Woman is a tart white floral, the rhubarb really comes out on my skin. I don't currently have a decant of the original Honour Woman to do a direct comparison, but from memory, this version is less watery and more sour. I think I prefer the original, because the sourness is just a little too much here mixed with the white florals, but this version does last a really long time. It smells vintage and voluptuous. The sourness is not off-putting for others, as I have received a compliment on this perfume.

Lovely natural smelling delicate white flower bouquet with light woody aromatic touches. The main central note is a white floral mix of tuberose, jasmine and lily of the valley. Initially this note is surrounded by slight aromatic elements like pepper, coriander and rhubarb. As the perfume settles one gets more woody notes such as sandalwood, vetiver, olibanum, opoponax and slight labdanum. The feminine leaning scent has moderate sillage and good longevity. My only issue as a male wearer is that it is still mostly a white floral scent and besides the three flowers, other notes are too muted. Enjoy!

I usually do not like tuberose scents much but this one different. I do not get any pepper. It is floral, smooth, warm, creamy tuberose perfume to my nose. Definitely can be a bridal perfume because it is soft but its projection is a beast.

I’m in no way a white floral girlie but Honour 43 is in a class of its own. This is a sleek and modern take on white florals. I don’t think it’s too animalic, even with leather lingering in the base. A seriously beautiful fragrance.

I can't deny, i like Honour 43. The only matter make it not my signature scent is " the GREENY NOTE" in the middle phase, i feel like it's kinda metallic so i avoid the overspray. Any soluation to overcame this green/metalic note?

Smells like the perfect wedding day

Thank god I sampled first. I was expecting greener. It's just difficult for me to enjoy tuberose due to the bubblegum nature, and I only seem to tolerate it when it's green such as in Rouge Malachite. I'll admit I've never smelled an actual tuberose and my sister who is an avid gardener has never even heard of this flower. So it this how tuberose is supposed to smell? No clue. This one though, is rather beautiful and green but I still get an ever so slight bubblegumminess and sweetness. I still think it is pretty but not enough to invest this much on a bottle. Will keep testing to see if anything changes.

I tested this today at Neimans & I really liked it. However, after probably 10 minutes the blotter just smelled like the regular Honour. I decided to try it on & got the same results. So I really like the top notes but then it’s just too similar to the original. Honour is a beautiful scent for sure but to me it’s too perfumey & doesn’t do anything for me (unlike Sabbia Bianca-love that one). Just personal preference though-I’m sure many would love this big white floral. *I see that Fragrantica has the same top notes for both versions but this def smelled pretty amazing & different to me at the start.

have an official decant of this. Amouage makes some of the best decant cases in my opinion. Only reason I'm lowkey keeping this fragrance. top notes: watery, botanical, fresh, clean, airy, yellow and white floral, spicy, powdery, feminine, natural middle notes: stinky, white and yellow floral, oud, musky, earthy, leather base notes: stinky, leather, powder its just a bit stinky. wish it was more sensual. Would be a great wedding fragrance for women! performance is amazing as its extrait. Pricey but honestly, a decant is enough. 7/10 only because of how stinky and powerful the white florals are here.

330 Wow, wonder if (S.S.) they sold me the wrong sample. I don’t get any rhubarb, LOV, or carnation. A hint of green and a ghostly tuberose is all. Overall I get a slightly aquatic, touch of tart-sweet, white floral and it dries down to that and stays that way. I didn’t find this special at all... 4/10-wrong scent sent? Aquatic white florals not for me

No, and we did not need this. She's pretty. But not as pretty as her older sister. I beg you to try them side by side. On the skin. For at least a day. The original is a masterpiece and is stronger IMO.

Sorry but this gives me toilet cleaning products. There’s something nice about it but it’s so strong and also has that rich old lady in her 70’s vibe. Absolutely not for me. I’ve just sold my full bottle and can still smell it even though it hasn’t been sprayed, is wrapped in layers upon layers of bubble wrap and in a box covered in cello tape. Way too much for me.

Beautiful! Floral but green, imagine flowers with leaves and stems, moist. Rich but not overwhelming, not loud. Not too indolic but very realistic. I expected it to be stronger given the concentration and price, it would be nice if it were a bit stronger and more long-lasting. Realistic flowers, spring, nature awakening. It's optimistic, with a hint of sweetness, maybe rhubarb, the combination is excellent. I don't detect frankincense, maybe it just adds some freshness and coolness while also giving depth. It lifts my mood, I’m really enjoying it today. Rating 4/5, but not FBW due to the price and the longevity, which isn’t quite on the level of Amouage extrait. A welcome change from everything I’ve tried form Amouage so far. :) Love, love it! Tested from official Amouage sample.

Finally got my hands on this beauty. It’s a smoother, creamier version of the og Honour. The rhubarb sharpness is toned down by the honeyed white flowers and woods. Mega feminine, leans less mature to me than the og, and a tad bit sweeter. Higher oil concentration did this perfume justice. Imo, the extrait has an entirely different vibe going on. It’s cheerful, while the og is romantic-melancholic.

I feel kind of confused by this one . I sometimes really like florals and sometimes they are just cloying . I’m right in the middle with this one . It’s a very green floral and it has a little bit of bitterness from the rhubarb and Lilly of the valley - sometimes me and lily do not get along.

Not exactly the same, but a better more unisex version of this is Chameleon by Zoologist. This is almost mature to me in the musks that they used for the dry down. The opening layers are well done though.

Honour 43 would have been my wedding scent had she been produced when I married. She’s regal 👑 sophisticated 👌🏽and angelic. I hadn’t met a white floral that won me over instantly like H43.
