Luban Al Akhdar smells like high-end dishwashing liquid mixed with frankincense in a weirdly pleasing way. That's just the only way I can describe that initial blast you get. I've actually had this exact same experience with MFK's 724 and Aqua Colongne Forte collection which are super citrus-forward with aldehydes that smell like dish soap. Not in the luxurious way, but in a way that leaves you smelling like you just hand-washed a sink full of plates. Normally, a scent profile like that would be an absolute dealbreaker for me, but it works so well here. The luban balances out the citrusy soapiness perfectly. Instead of reminding me of a kitchen sink, it comes together to smell deeply elegant and expensive-smelling. I've searched for deals and there is no getting around the price tag. But keep in mind that this is fragrance oil. You only need a tiny swipe on your pulse points or beard, so 12ml will last ages. Anyone that says "it's expensive for what it is" implies similar or better alternatives exist for a better price. But I haven't come across anything that smells like this - it is completely unique. I have even tried Purpose 50 that people often compare it to, and trust me, they are not the same. Luban Al Akhdar is brighter and more refined.

Bisch's best work I've tried, in my opinion. Luban Al Akhdar is a soapy clean, citrusy, green frankincense. The smell is simple, yet complex at the same time. The aldehydes seem to give it push, doesnt come off to me like Chanel aldehydes. For a long time in the wear there is this combo of the aldehydes and citrus that give it a very particular zingy edge. There are many facets you can dive into, but the overall feel is clean, fresh, and elegant. Longevity is excellent, price is outrageous haha

This fragrance is exceptionally beautiful, characterized by its clean, soapy, and fresh notes, complemented by frankincense. The frankincense in this composition is unburnt, offering a green, citrusy, and pine-wood-like aroma. While its smoothness might suggest a subtle presence, it is, in fact, a robust and long-lasting fragrance with excellent projection and sillage. It comes highly recommended.

I’m not super familiar with attars. They have never interested me as much as perfume, but this was fun to wear. It reminds me a bit of purpose because they have a similar green frankincense thing going on. However, this is more metallic. I’m excited to smell the perfume once Amouage creates an EDP for this!

What a beautiful creation! One of the best from the Amouge houses. The frankincense is beautifully blended in its purest for with that citrusy note. This is such a great combo with P50 or any incense from. Amouge. Best oils ever. Grab one before it goes bye bye

Amouage + Quentin did it again! This is a masterpiece oil. It’s not a perfume, this is a perfume experience, a luxurious scent that makes you feel rain and trees around you, a clean, pure, soapy, frankincense, herbal scent. I love it

Amazing fragrance that evolves with time on your skin. Very versatile. To me it smells like musk safi with frankincense. For an attar it has v good projection and the liquid does not feel too oily...light and fresh. Shukran Habibi!

Purpose + Luban. This is literally Amouage Purpose in oil form, where the Luban (frankincense), which is part of Purpose's ingredients, has been doubled or tripled in amount, making it more luban-y. I like far better than Purpose, as the Luban is much more obvious here. However, it also smells almost like pure Luban oil. If it wasn't for the price per milliliter, I would've gone for it. High quality natural oud oil is costing fraction of the price. I guess they have to keep the "prestigious" image up. Cool weather wear. "Like".

So so so good. Love letter to the beautiful Omani frankincense that is a signature of Amouage. Crystalline, bright, shiny frankincense like rays from the sun. Gets a little synthy and suspiciously bischy in the long drydown. 19 hours later I can still smell it on my arm. It’s a bit soft but definitely distinctive. Mostly smells like purpose/ akigalawood this far along. Pretty impressive performance and tenacity. Neither the Oud or the leather attars have this lasting power on my skin comparatively

Store Test Short Review: Mild incense opening, reminiscing of Incense Rori but with less intensity and more freshness, dries down into a lovely clean smoky soap accord, more soapy than Amouage’s other aldehydic perfumes

This smells almost like pure luban oil, but elevated. Agree with what others are saying below, smells sacred and quintessentially Omani.

Smells like an Omani home. Very beautiful and long lasting but my goodness the price does not justify this.

This smells like Amouage take on LV Imagination.
