Lunar Vetiver

This is very smooth and lovely. I would say a perfect warm-weather wear. This is the perfect fragrance to pair with natural fabrics, like linen and cotton. It's just that fresh. It opens fresh, dewy, and a bit barbershop from the bergamot, although any dewiness dissipates quickly. Within ten minutes the aridness of vetiver and sage overtake, and we move past the old-timey barbershop funk. In the opening, the sage and bergamot dominate, the sage perhaps a bit stronger in the first moments. I becomes a smooth, arid, herbal wonder in the drydown while still retaining a breezy-cool, almost menthol freshness, with an interesting hint of earthy bitterness as well. I detect little vanilla or Tonka, but perhaps a slight dry earthiness from the tobacco blossom? To me there so many sensate juxtapositions here. It's almost confusing in it's transitions, in a very interesting way. This is certainly non-linear in it's development. It retains it's freshness even into the drydown. This definitely swings more masculine, and I am interested in seeing how I might layer this to girl it up a bit. Jacomo Anthracite perhaps? Having said that, I think a confident woman can wear this with ease. I know I will. As a woman who LOVES vetiver, I can say this far outshines Guerlain Vetiver, in my humble opinion. This lasts, and retains it's vetiver character, far longer. It also seems to be outperforming Chanel Sycomore, which although lovely, fades disappointingly quickly for the money spent. I haven't sampled TF Grey Vetiver, but will say I have experienced some disappointment in the TF fragrances in terms of longevity and projection. So far, I suspect Amouroud Lunar Vetiver will outperform TF Grey Vetiver, much as their Dark Orchid and Tiziana Terenzi's Maremma both outperform Black Orchid. It's a good idea done better by those with a concern for quality. I will be wearing this in the coming Summer months for sure. Nothing heavy or closed here, but a fresh, bitter, green openess that begs a linen sundress and bare shoulders.

Lovely, green, dry, cool, and fresh, as vetiver should be. Light, and not as grounded as some other vetivers, Encre Noire being one that comes to mind, as it has the fresh, dryness of vetiver, but the smoke grounds it nicely. I would call this more of a purist's vetiver. I would say this is the weakest of the Amoroud selections so far, and I've sampled most. I has better projection and longevity than Sycomore, in my experience, but Sycomore, while lovely and noteworthy, is a dissapointing lightweight in the version I have. Vetiver is tough when it comes to longevity, and this is no exception. I find Amoroud fragrances to be long-lasting and project well. They are, in point of fact, one of my fave houses, and I own several of their offerings, and have sampled all but a couple. I don't like to define frags by gender, but this is a very traditional male fragrance especially with the bergamot. I wear it and like it, but it's definitely something you would smell in frags traditionally marketed to men. Well-blended, dry woodiness in the dry-down. Opens moist, green, and verdant, but becomes a dry and arid experience as it matures. Not in a bad way, it's simply not a "juicy" green anymore. I would call this sporty and outdoorsy in feel, although I wouldn't be surprised to find it worn in any environment or for any occasion. I know some vetivers veer towards refined elegance, but in my experience this isn't one of them. It also has a Spring/Summer vibe, in my opinion, although the dry woodiness could carry over into Autumn. I think it would feel too light, cool, and fresh for a Winter scent. Love it, but always wish for more longevity with vetiver, and my dream is for someone to come along and re-create Lalique's Encre Noire for better performance and longevity. Shouldn't science be working on these important issues?

The opening is such a nice spicy herbal burst with bergamot. I knew id love it going forward. The pimento and pepper really gives it a nice kick. The initial drydown is lovely smoky vetiver with an herbaceous accord blending it nicely. There is a subtle herbal and floral sweetness that has a wet feeling. Its very nice. I am a massive vetiver and tobacco fan. Ive tried a lot of vetivers. This one is very nice and rounded. It doesnt have the green soapy herbaceous vibe of Guerlain and isnt too rooty or earthy like Sultan Vetiver or Encre Noire and its flankers. It has a warm spice to it like Vetiver Insolent but Vetiver Insolent feels more velvety soft and slighty powdery note due to Iris. Lunar Vetiver goes for a more "wet earth" spicy direction than Vetiver Insolent. Its velvety smooth as well. Id say this and Vetiver Insolent are the smoothest vetiver scents on the market. The sillage is great and longevity is hours on this! I really enjoyed this one and I think its so easy to switch to this one for warmer days. Great for the office due to the sweet roundness. Its not a powerhouse for winter, though it can still work. This is a perfect spring and summer vetiver. The wet/juicy vibe really makes it stand out as a wonderful warm weather choice for vetiver fanatics.

I have smelt sultan vetiver and grey vetiver, both pretty damn good imo. Sultan Vetiver was a tad bit overbearing and not something I could see myself wearing. Either way, I enjoy earthy and grassy scents with nuance of course and to my surprise, Lunar Vetiver came into my line of sight. It was a blind buy because why not? Got it for more than 50% off and I thought to myself not a big deal if i dont like it. A few days go by, I receive this bottle in the mail. Love the bottle and now time to smell the scent itself and at first I was taken back.. Logically it had to be the alcohol content that gave it such a powerful gasoline smell so i sprayed it from the neck about 5 more times and gave it a few days. Came back and wow... the earthy nuances mixed in with the spiciness and very slight sweetness due to the vanilla/tonka bean gives this such a manly and burley vibe. I got the bergamot throughout the whole entire scent too, a citrus just chillin in the background. If you're into vetiver and earthy scents then I would get this, performance wise this blows Grey Vetiver out of the water and just overall is better even its scent profile.

Love this scent, the notes are blending perfectly, and other than vetiver and tobacco blossom, it's kind of hard to pinpoint each note. Starting out bitter and a bit sour, I can totally imagine a cactus that smells like this. The pimento is there, but it's not spicy, feels like pimento that is freshly picked. And vetiver is clearly taking the center stage right from the initial burst. I don't know how to describe the vetiver, it's different than Terre d'Hermes, or Guerlain Vetiver, but it has the same vibe with ELDO Fat Electrician (I haven't tried out TF Grey Vetiver, shame on me). Smelling Lunar Vetiver, I can imagine myself eating the cactus, and as i bite the cactus pad, the vegetal smell comes out, along with the water. It is the same smell that I find when I try to break a plant with thick body (cactus, aloe vera, etc). Totally greenish, grayish, beautiful perfume. Great silage, projection and longevity, and quite affordable too.

I am a Vetiver lover and OMG this is hands down one of the best, if not the best, Vetiver fragrance I've ever put my nose on. Goes on with a bite that quickly settles into an absolute slice of heaven. To say it's an "olfactive dream" is understatement. This composition is absolutely gorgeous in every way. The perfumer Jerome Di Marino is a fragrant genius. The patchouli, pimento and pink peppercorn adds such warmth. Oooh man Im in love!!! I sprayed myself 4x this morning at around 9am & here it is 6:15pm & still going strong. I keep getting whiffs of myself throughout the day & received several compliments while on an elevator!! 3 different people getting on different floors made comments!! I'm definitely buying two bottles in case this goes away... I found my new favorite Vetiver based fragrance that will always be a staple in my collection.

Normally when there is a conversation around the quintessential mens vetiver fragrance, the argument is between two - Guerlain's Vetiver and Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver. In my most humble opinion, this should be included in that conversation. This is a beautiful and refined vetiver fragrance that opens richly and dries down to a refined mellow scent. I love the fact that although bergamot is a top note, even in the drydown you get a bit of citrus like it has seeped into the hay. The sweet notes like vanilla add just a tiny amount of creaminess - not enough to take away the signature dryness of the vetiver but just enough to tame its spikes. I'd already bought Grey Vetiver after smelling the Tom Ford and the Guerlain. Had I smelt this then, as much as I love Grey Vetiver, I'd have probably bought this. Slept on slept on slept on....

Lunar Vetiver is an outstanding fragrance. Imagine Tom Ford’s Grey pumped up on Barry Bonds’ level of steroids. This is a manly fragrance that uses Liam Neeson’s particular set of skills to deliver a throat punch to the mainstream popular sweet fragrances. You can expect this bad boy to smash open your olfactory senses with a citrusy and camphoric blast that transitions to a grassy vetiver. Its dry down settles into a tobacco and tonka based class act that lasts all day. If you want to smell like a boss you don’t have to look any further. This fragrance is Grey Vetiver’s better looking and more successful brother that will steal the girl. This is a total banger. I layer it with Montale red vetiver or I wear it by itself. Projects for 2 hours then calms but is still very very present. Lasts 6-7 hours which is perfect for this ride. It's not linear but the supporting notes work to amplify the star of the show, which is Vetiver (smokey, medicinal, cactus-like, green, grassy). My only addition would be this could have used a little more citrus to round it out but it's still great as is. Buy a sample. 9/10 **Tried the new Tom Ford Grey Vetiver Parfum the other day and this blows that out of the water. Best in best-in-class vetiver right here.**

Citrus and Green Vetiver and have a hint of sweetness and spicy It's going to be a Fresh side but Really Intense because it's concentration is around 32% Longivity is a little bit weird it's last 5-6 hours and then vanish. but i smell it's again in the next morning (That i didn't shower last night LOL) that mean i maybe last over the night but i only get used to it and think it's vanish it's in the safe side can be office scent and can use in high temperature. really love it's

@NeroliCannoli You need to get your nose on the recent Vetiver Parfum from Guerlain if you're going to conduct a proper vetiver comparison. I also urge you to get your nose on Les Parfums Mythiques - Vetyver by Givenchy as well. I just received my bottle of Lunar Vetiver today and although I do like it, it's nothing particularly groundbreaking. I've just smelled way too many vetivers over the years.

third amoroud sample I tried after white hinoki and white stone, this one smells of aromatic herbal vetiver, yes it is similar to roja vetiver with a hint of citrus and dryness. if you like roja vetiver maybe this can be used as an alternative with a cheaper price, the silage and projection are pretty good. long life can last on my skin 8+ hours

A copy of Miller Harris Vetiver Insolent. Lasts better than VI, but I prefer the latter as it's better blended and smoother. How on earth no one has suggested it?! The second people smell a hint of vetiver they think of either Tom Ford GV or Encre Noire lol; none of these smell like Lunar Vetiver!!

Very similar to Grey Vetiver EDP. Smells great! I LOVE Grey Vetiver and this is just as good if not better! Though I think the TF bottle looks better... Just classic. Big Amouroud fan now. This is a Vetiver you can wear year round, dress it up or down, it's versatile and has good performance. 10/10

Had to get myself a second bottle, this and Sultan Vetiver are the only Vetiver forward scents you need. This is the prince of Vetiver 🤴 with Sultan Vetiver being the king. And for discounters pricing, you can’t go wrong. It’s bright, citrusy with a deep rooted sexy earthiness.

@eastport I appreciate the recommendations big dog, I’ve tried Vetiver parfum by guerlain and I don’t really like how sweet it is. But, I’ve never tried Les Parfums Mythiques - Vetyver by Givenchy so I’m gonna def give that a try. I always appreciate some good Vetiver recs. 🙏🏽

aaaaah vetiver, my favorite current note. sparkly gorgeous lemon, spices, vetiver and that medicinal opening. love it. this for strictly vetiver lovers in summer. not a beast but better performer than TF Grey vetiver, which is similar to this on drydown 9/10

Lunar Vetiver is what Grey Vetiver should have been. The Vetiver is similar but much better blended and more complex. Performance is top notch as well I get 9 hrs or so longevity, and it projects heavily the first 3 hrs. Overall 9.5 out of ten .

One of the best vetiver fragrances I know! In my opinion it ́s closer to Sycomore than Roja ́s Vetiver. The latter is smooth and velvety, this is in the raw side, although not harsh at all. Really really good!

Just got it today. First wear: Gorgeous!!! Yes, a bit reminiscent of TF Grey Vetiver, which i have but with deeper notes and also more EDP than EDT, that is, it lasts longer. Wonderful scent!

Ok this vetiver based fragrance is incredibly well done. I tend to wear vetiver fragrances the most, epically as a daily driver and also fresh out of the shower. My easy wear vetiver fragrance was TF grey Vetiver EDP. I was toying with the idea of replacing it as had been missing that easy wear vetiver fragrance in my arsenal. I watched a few reviews on Lunar Vetiver and it peaked my interest, as it seems to always be compared to TF GV. I can confirm they are in the same wheel house for sure. I am confident if you like TF GV you will enjoy Lunar Vetiver. They are both sharp citrus at the beginning of the fragrance. Then they differ in the mid. Lunar vetiver is a touch more earthy than GV. Still a very easy wear but more complex and niche like. You really can't go wrong with either. Lunar Vetiver is not a compliment magnet in any way. You will though smell super clean due to the sharp citrus which stays a surprisingly long time. You will also smell well put together. LV can easily be used as a signature scent in any season, suits spring, summer and fall day time the best but would not be out of place on a winters evening. can be worn casual or even with a suit or tuxedo. I used to enjoy the versatility of blue fragrances, I feel scents like LV and GV do the same job and come over more suitable for a mature man. I do pick up the cactus flower note which I recognise from Tommy Hillfigure Cologne, which helps with added freshness when the citrus starts to fade. projection is moderate, longevity is well above average. If you enjoy vetiver fragrances that aren't too smoky or challenging (for example sultan vetiver) then this sits nicely between a watery soapy vetiver and a strong smoky vetiver. Over all a great fragrance, the sprayer chucks out a lot of juice but don't worry you will not offend with this little gem. A vetiver lovers dream.

Not even close to Grey Vetiver. Vetiver jumps out front at first spray, but is quickly surpassed by rubbery and medicinal accords which make me think that there is an oud element here, plus significant geranium and a chewy patchouli, and a green vegetal note that includes pink pepper, a touch of leather and perhaps the mentioned pimento. The whole affair is unmistakably a middle eastern take on vetiver, which GV decidedly is not. So we know what this is not, but what IS it. It is a east meets west composition, dry, somewhat earthy, and thoroughly male. It treats vetiver, one of my favorite notes, in a way different from any of my other 40 or so vetiver fragrances. While it doesn't paint a picture, this strikes me as half fragrance "to be worn", half artistic creation mixing unusual components in unusual ways to challenge the wearer. It is human nature to want to say that "X smells like Y", but those comparisons really don't apply to this one. It is not a crowd pleaser, not a great date wear. Possibly an office scent if worn with some restraint, or even a formal wear if worn at a sillage level that creates mystery - because too much of this could be cloying. Wear time is very solid. And if you don't like smoky fragrances, this isn't going to be a big favorite, because the vetiver gets almost ashtray-like at 4 - 5 hours. But if you want to try a vetiver-forward, somewhat quirky fragrance, with high quality niche ingredients and unique accords, for about the price of a Mancera, you really should get your nose on this.

#1041 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Visualize Darth Vader saying, "The vetiver is strong in this one." That is a lot of vetiver. There's a hint of cactus for sure, but lots and lots of vetiver. If you like vetiver, this is the motherlode. I'm not a huge fan of vetiver forward scents like many of you are, and not a fan of pimento at all. The strong pimento note completely ruined the Tom Ford "Grey Vetiver" for me and I gave it away. Here I can't really smell the pimento, which is fine with me. Here in North Carolina pimento cheese is a cultural thing for reasons I've never bothered to explore. They put in on crackers, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches. Not my jam. The only vetiver forward scent I have kept on the shelf is Guerlain's "Vetiver" parfum which I appreciate for it's smoky character. I would have liked to have tried the "Vetiver Extreme" but alas. I would place this far ahead of the Tom Ford which I found unwearable, but I really have no strong preference between this and the Guerlain parfum. This is a good fougere style scent, and I imagine most men will enjoy it. Projects through the morning. Lasts on the skin through the day. Reasonably priced. Formal office appropriate, but probably not date wear for me.

El perfume mas verde que hay en mi coleccion, sin duda alguna. Un desplante espectacular, tanto en ambientes cerrados como espacios abiertos, cada cierto rato se siente un vetiver potente, fresco, limpio y brillante pero no invasivo. En un principio me costo decidir si me gustaba para uso frecuente o solo como un perfume para variar, pero con el uso, fui enamorandome cada vez mas de la calidad de la fragancia. No lo considero un perfume para ocasiones muy especiales, pero acompaña perfecto a cualquier dia soleado, incluso para paseos. Mas de uso casual a mi juicio, sin ser algo negativo obviamente. No es un perfume que genere una gran cantidad de cumplidos, pero si es un perfume que destaca por sobre otros, la gente tiende a acercarse solo por saber de donde viene ese aroma tan intrigante y fresco. Recordando que para el comun de la gente, el vetiver no es un aroma que se sienta a diario. En cuanto a personalidad, diria que es un perfume con personalidad chispeante, alegre, formal pero divertido. Para nada serio y conservador, es mas fresco y libre.

Firstly, Bottle, Presentation, absolutely Gorgeous. Amouroud gives a luxurious experience with a pouch, and the heavy metal cap, the bottle and the engravings, absolutely a peach of a bottle to have. Atomizer is a juicy spray. Coming to the perfume, it has a depth of vetiver like no other. I can smell hints of Bergamot which makes the vetiver smoother, but a deep sniff post the initial spray makes you fall absolutely in love with vetiver. Having smelt TF Grey Vetiver, can say this is miles better, however falls short of the best, Guerlain Vetiver Extreme. 15 Minutes in, I can smell the pink pepper perhaps, more like something that is making the vetiver sharper. It settles down pretty smooth, all vetiver, maybe a little vanillin? Great for overcast/summers, and projects amazingly.

1mL sample worn twice. A wonderful creation, but in the end not for me. Linear, high quality, slightly soapy, slightly white floral, lots of lemony goodness on top. The vetiver itself is far from the possible nastiness that other vetivers / vetiver combinations can carry. I am learning that HIGH concentration vetiver fragrances don’t “speak” to me. Yes, I enjoy the sniffing this one and contemplating it, but it ends up being highly intellectual; devoid of passion. Polite, clean, professional — like new paper. It is a fragrance that I wish at least mumbled some imagery. Great job Amouroud in any case.

To my nose, Lunar Vetiver is very nearly Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP -- that vetiver / sharp citrus combination. Lunar Vetiver adds a slight subtle floral note, but it's ephemeral and disappears quickly. I was hoping to get the tobacco blossom, which probably would have added a little smoky depth, but alas, nada. It may as well not have been added at all. If you already own Grey Vetiver EDP (not the other variants, which may smell different), there's no need to buy Lunar Vetiver. I don't, however, liken it to Guerlain Vetiver, which I find to be much more unpleasant than GV or LV.

Opens up with a spice similar to cumin but I don’t find it stinky, just red hot and savory. Then it undergoes a pretty large metamorphosis into a vetiver dominant classy fragrance. It isn’t sharp piercing vetiver, it has been smoothed out with some fine grit sandpaper. I envision a light brown color. If you appreciate the finer, subtler things in life you will likely enjoy this. Personally, I am a young idiot and I want my vetiver to have a little more reverb. Not yet, Lunar Vetiver. Call me in ten years.

Mineral slightly spicy clean vetiver is how this comes across to me. Dry down is citrusy and a little sweet. Similar to many other vetiver fragrances like TF Grey Vetiver and I would say it is also a safe office scent, but with a little more interest to it. It falls off pretty quickly into a small scent bubble so it’s unlikely to be too noticeable until someone is close or walking behind you. Nice but not rushing for the full bottle.

Excellent opening. Natural vetiver aroma in a mix with pepper, bergamot and later a touch of tonka. Classic gentleman perfume done in a modern way. There are some similarities to Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, but this one is milder and creamier. For that price there is too much Iso e super in the base and after 15 min it starts smelling of it. Generally very nice.

The power of mentholation compels you. Eau de Vapor Rub. Cured my pneumonia. Good, strong, outright piercing vetiver. Oily, dynamic and did I mention it's mentholated? Fresh, lively and absolutely true to it's name. Out of this world. Need an aftershave version.

I like it. Vetiver bomb. Masculine scent. Strong vetiver with spices. Could be a signature scent.

A greener, brighter version of Guerlain vetiver

I tried this in a store along with some other vetiver fragrances to compare so this is more of an impression than a full review. IMO this comes closest to TF Grey Vetiver in terms of overall scent profile but it is stronger, more complex and goes through more transitions from start to finish. Despite how appealing that sounds, it may not be a fitting substitute. It starts off very strong - the pink pepper (and maybe the listed pimento?) really punches away alongside the bergamot and the sage is detectable early on. It gives the same feeling that nutmeg does in Grey Vetiver or even Guerlain Vetiver so it does it's job but it's not breaking new ground. Vanilla is listed but honestly, I don't detect the slightest hint. The vetiver can be detected throughout and it is quite smooth but with a real strength to it. I find this fragrance to shine far into the dry down where you can mostly detect vetiver with a hint of floral notes. This lasted far longer and out projected the other two mentioned fragrances both on skin and on card but sadly, I don't think it can compete with the other two. It's too punchy in the opening / mid and even in the dry down you have to be a real vetiver connoisseur to appreciate it as it still holds some strength. The other two are much smoother from start to finish and so, much more wearable IMO. Overall 7/10.

A showcase of the medicinal side of vetiver. Medicinal, camphorish opening. Not very sweet at all. Opens with spicy, a bit harsh, medicinal vetiver. Wet cardboard, gauze (wet gauze). Mellows down a bit in the dry down. To be honest, this is more of a cactus fragrance than a Vetiver one. I was wondering what that gauze like smell was, turns out it’s the cactus. Is it worth $ 200, no. Malle’s Vetiver Extraordinaire still is king.

Very clean and soft Vetiver. I am not getting the camphor and spice notes others have. If you are new to Vetiver and want something clean and not over the top, you could do much worse. I often struggled to find it. Performance is mid for me. There are so many great Vetiver fragrances, and I own many of them, but I won’t be adding this. After reading some other’s notes, may rustle up another sample or decant and try it again.

The scent for me is okay. I think it leans more barbershop, Fougere, and I'm just not a big fan of those types of scents. Longevity was about 3-4 hours, with a loud projection for the most part, but then it just dies and I can't even detect it on my skin after the 4 hour mark. I used up my sample and won't be buying it again.

Got a sample of this and it made me realize I just don't like Vetiver as the main star of a fragrance. The smell of this is cold and to me feels a bit alien or inhuman, but not in a bad way. Feels very well blended just not for me, also I prefer this over TF Grey Vetiver.

Way too grassy. It smells like you splashed oil over yourself while you were running through a tall grass field. Smokey scent that could appeal to some, however very divisive in terms of pleasurability. Not for everyone. 3/10

Extremely underwhelming and easily forgettable. EDP, really! This disappears as soon as it's sprayed. Zero projection. I tested this on the same spot I had sprayed another perfume 12hrs earlier and it still got overshadowed. If the performance claimed by earlier reviewers were true, then this new batches have a problem.

Similar to Grey Vetiver EDP, but in no way is this a carbon copy, or as close as many of the reviews below suggest. They share slight similarities in their respective openings, but then both quickly go their separate ways immediately following this, and by the time of their dry downs, they are two distinctly different fragrances. Grey Vetiver is more of a citrus/vetiver type fragrance with a slight creaminess in the dry down from the orris. The vetiver used in Grey Vetiver is of the "clean" type. I get more florals overall in GV. It's overall a more smoother experience than Lunar Vetiver and comes off as slightly classier in my opinion. Lunar Vetiver, whilst having a bergamot note, is more of a straight-up vetiver fragrance. If you like vetiver-dominant fragrances, then you've come to the right place. The vetiver in Lunar Vetiver is still the "clean" type, but it's definitely "rougher", "dirtier", and more "earthy" than the type used in Grey Vetiver. The pepper is strong with this one, and I don't get as much florals here as I do in GV, and I get zero creaminess in the dry down. You've probably guessed it, but this isn't as smooth an experience as Grey Vetiver (important to note the actual ingredients themselves smell of high quality, I just mean the blend overall) and thus comes off with (slightly) less class. Performance/longevity in this is significantly better than Grey Vetiver. Like, there's no question. Grey Vetiver smells watered down by comparison. This is actually its biggest strength; I get a full workday out of this without having to respray. If you like Grey Vetiver EDP then you should like this. However, don't make a blind buy on this, thinking you're getting the same fragrance with better performance. There are definite differences. A lot of the reviews below unintentionally come across as disingenuous with how close they say the two fragrances are when really they are two fairly different vetiver frags. 8.5/10

Nuclear vetiver Vetiver is often approached cautiously, see Vetyverio EDT (rosey carrot-like vetiver) or Sycomore (French elegant sandalwoody vetiver) on one side of the spectrum, this beast ‚Lunar‘ Vetiver on the very other end of the spectrum. Spraying it on I get a bizarre almost sci-fi constellation of cold spice and a salty mineral harshness with even some menthol (as others have mentioned below, all further intensified by the oily rooty vetiver undertone. As it develops I get almost exclusively vetiver within a fougere-esque coumarinic backbone giving some nutty nuances to the mix, ambroxan and other amberwoods adding a cold metallic feel to the dry down. The result is quite austere and brutalist, however not uninteresting. Not something I enjoy personally, but oddly keep on smelling cautiously when testing.
