Mysterious Rose

I have the privilege of owning a flacon of this beautiful rose extrait. I believe while resemblances to food products can be alluring, it does take finesse and experience to smell past these initial observations and consider the composition technicalities as the perfumer has constructed for our olfactory delight. The violet leaf and vanilla certainly leads the rose absolute employed in this composition, where the sweet/gourmand notes trails right behind them. The contrastive impact of spice against the sweet, amplified by the citrus, is cleverly utilised to embolden and magnify the eugenol and geraniol levels from the rose. Similar extraits that keen individuals might like may look towards MFK's Oud Satin Mood (Extrait), Frédéric Malle's Une Rose/Rose Tonnerre (barely related, if any resemblance at all, since this is rather saccharine). I would even take a jab at attars that prominently feature Rose. Sniff away!

This was my first (and currently only) perfume from Amouroud. It is absolutely one of the prettiest and strongest rose fragrances I’ve ever smelled. It has a beautiful gourmand and creamy quality thanks to the praline note. But it just radiates rose. It lasts like nothing else I own! I would recommend this as a winter fragrance or a date night fragrance, though you can easily wear it year round. I have gotten multiple compliments wearing this and plan on buying back up bottles in case it ever stops being made. It’s truly that good.

I’m going through a rose phase at the moment, super weird considering I usually don’t like rose fragrances! But this is a sweet sexy rose, definitely powdery pink rose with a creamy vanilla base which I love. Stay away if you prefer watery fresh rose, this isn’t it. I get tons of compliments on this one, on my skin it’s delicious 😋

Super SYRUPY rose, nothing else. So straightforward and so pretty.

This smells like a beverage called bandung. Its a very very sweet gourmand rose surrounded by a creamy milky decadent base. Please stay away if you don't like sweet scents. Reminiscent of Parfait de roses by Lancome, I don't own that to compare them side by side but similar vibes. Its quite lovely, can be cloying though.

Very interesting scent. Unfortunately, on me it just smells like a horrible, old potpourri you would use as air freshener in the bathroom. However, on my husband, it is a subtle rose with a distinct green, fresh vibe to it. The overwhelming sweet vanillic smell on me does not translate (thank goodness) to him! My mother tried it as well, and yet again, a new face came out. On her it is a beautiful real rose scent with a good dose of acidity. Definitely not one to blind buy like I did, but I'm glad I can see its beauty come through on others.

Smells like suntan lotion and rose....it's really nice and definitely unisex I enjoyed my 5ml decant but thats as far as I'll go. If these were priced with the rest of the line I'd buy it. With that said it's definitely not worth the price at nearly 300$ there are far better rose options in that price range and this doesn't smell any higher quality than their less expensive range for me to justify the purchase cost! Sample it 100% but the rose is beautiful

This fragrance here might have Delina Exclusif at her neck 🔪 this is the most creamiest, smooth, and delicate, sweet rose fragrance by far one of my favs I’m so happy I blind bought this fragrance 9/10. Imagine taking a rose 🌹 milk bath eating assorted chocolates like, white chocolate truffles pralines, or almond bark 😋

I don’t smell much except roses and praline. Both are fairly light.I’m going to put it away and revisit it in a few months. I know it’s got the potential to be an absolutely gorgeous scent and I’m willing to wait for that. I have smelled this before and it was much stronger. I’m patient.

I bought this and was so excited but I hate to admit it but this perfume is roses vanille dna and atomic rose, I have about 3 fragrances of each dna and even Delina that this was so widely redundant and disappointing. Don’t buy it for the fragrance buy for the brand.
