SUBLIMATE

I have been wearing this all the time since I got the discovery set and sprang for a full bottle. There is something in all of Amphora's scents that keep some edge and mystery alive even with the emphasis on fruity notes. Sublimate is like taking an apple out of a cooler to eat in a public park or garden. Day trips and vacations in walkable cities are the only times I end up impulse buying things like violet candies, so I'm popping a few of those in my mouth in this hypothetical park break situation.

licking over the gloss of your teeth after gargling icy mint mouthwash: that's the opening of sublimate. i suspect the menthol i'm picking up on is the "frozen" accord at play, which is swiftly cut through by apple and rose. over time the scent grows denser, powdery, and sugared. she's unabashedly gourmand. the longevity cannot be understated since sublimate THRIVES after a night's worth of sleep. readers, are we in the presence of a holy grail marshmallow fragrance?

i was scared at first spray. “syrupy” was all i could think. but as it dried down and i kept picking up whiffs, i started to get it. there’s an overripe fruitiness to it that’s almost sickly, but i mean that in the best way. it’s very much childhood; the sweet plastic of My Little Pony or Strawberry Shortcake, if that makes sense. candy melted in your hands. i couldn’t stop smelling my wrist for the nostalgia it evokes. the next morning i could still detect a sweet musk and finally a bit of the marshmallow. it’s still following me to work today, and that’s on performance, baby! the creativity is exciting, but i can’t see myself wanting to smell as sweet as this regularly. might pick up a smaller size to enjoy this experience for special times. i’ll be following what else this house does!

super crisp and sour apple for the first few hours. It also gets pretty sweet and creamy during this time too. After the first few hours it became less sweet and more soft, musky, and floral. it could've totally been me not eating enough today, but the sweetness made me a bit nauseous - pretty candy-like for the first few hours. my boyfriend tried it on too and loveddd it. i need to try it again because I did really enjoy her :(

Quite the dessert gourmand, unfortunately a bit too sweet for me. It reminds me of a bath and body works candle, which is not necessarily a smell I want walking around with me, but I can see it working for someone else. The apple and violet work very well together, and are very spot on, just overall too sweet for me. I wish there were something to balance out the more saccharine nature, however I think that goes against the intention of the perfume. I appreciate the creativity just unfortunately not for me.

This is such a fun, youthful and interesting fragrance. Reminds me of American Girl Dolls, green apple Jolly Ranchers, vape juice (a bit haha, this was my boyfriend's first impression lmao), and Choward's violet mints. I wouldn't say this is the most wearable for everyday, but it sure is a fun one in my collection and brings something new and exciting to the table!

loved the concept but it sadly smelt like vape juice on me and gave me a headache, unfortunately a scrubber. will say that the dry drown (after scrubbing) was much nicer, undoubtedly impressive longevity!

Green apple icee through a sugared violet, rock candy straw. Far too syrupy sweet for me, but fun.

So my rad girlfriend turned me on to this. I love her taste in fragrance so I knew I had to try this! I’m not a rose frag lover but this is different it’s like frozen crunchy dried rose petals & a sugary sweet musk. There’s a subtle sour element like a sour Granny Smith apple candy. This is not quite like Mallow for me which I find that one to be *very* tart & candy like. This is more mellow sweet & doing it’s own unique thing. Someone said a cabbage patch doll it does kind of have a nostalgic doll scent to it! Which I dig that synthetic 80’s-90’s plastic doll scent. It’s very well blended, I’m excited to see what else this house conjures up!

This is BRAT SUMMER in a bottle, this is hot girl handing you a vape on the dance floor, this is someone rubbing green apples on your skin (and maybe you get licked!!) as a form of flirting, this is saccharine yet sexy, I am not allowed to spray this in the apartment it is so strong!!

Was so surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I'm not a huge gourmand lover but the violet in combination with green apple feels complex enough to be intriguing. I can't help but smile when I smell this.
