Amyi 5.22

I have NO clue how i feel about this fragrance still, i've spent the whole day re-spraying it (it only lasts like... 4 hours on my skin at most) trying to make up my mind about it. Tobacco, just tobacco at first, a fresh but thick tobacco that made my head feel full of cotton at first. The smell of it was so intense it made me feel dumb actually. Vanilla and smoke on the dry-down, which cuts through the intensity of the tobacco, adds a little sweetness, adds some character to it. Perfectly unisex. I think this scent requires some maturity to truly appreciate, maturity i do not think i quite have yet. I can imagine an older person liking this scent quite a bit, but it's not inherently a scent limited to that age group. I could picture a really cool younger woman wearing this confidently and pulling it off for some reason. That being said, the sweetness makes it so that this isn't for me. This is also the weakest of Amyi fragrances i tested, longevity-wise at least.

Amazing floral dupe for Tabacco Vanille. On paper this fragrance had a deep tabacco note, which was followed by a bright vanilla to counteract that rigid earthiness. I almost bought it until I smelled it on skin. You guys, this is Lord of Misrule by Lush to a FAULT. All I could smell on my skin was that patchouli note and it hasn’t gone away since. Wonderful if you love Halloween-y scents or if you love confusing people’s nostrils
