Får

This is one of the most delicious zesty citrus, sweet, juicy cookie/biscuit sherbety gourmandise playful giggle of a fun-loving fragrance that I have come across in a long time. It appeals to the child in you and your light heartedness. And goes all in for that and does not even try to show off itself as a sophisticated hard to get kind of culturally pleasing, refined, fashion correct entity. Or for that matter trying to fit into a stuck up fragrance connaisseur community. Får does not apologise for itself and is therefor more like a punk rocker who still likes to suck on a lollipop once in a while kind of vibe. And it does it’s job well, if you ask me. In a way this is exactly the juicy sweet orange, lemony citrus zesty biscuit gourmand that many of us dream of but would never dare to say we truly love. And it’s for sure one that a more sophisticated crowd will frown at saying it’s too sweet or too sickly sweet or too gourmand or whatever too we all really want a mouthwatering dessert with citrus sherbets and cookies to be... in our heart of hearts... If you however don’t like things unabashedly sweet and indulgent - then this is for sure not for you. If refinement and grown up and serious is your game - then Får will not be your thing. Unless you need to rekindle with the playful child in you who dares to lust for desserts and wants to choose sweet before savoury any day of the week... then by all means dive in! As it is a dessert in a bottle I find it will suit anyone and will therefor qualify as unisex. As far as citruses go this is however very sweet and not at all clean or medicinal which for some may make this lean more feminine. But again a dessert is a dessert and last time I checked desserts do not have a gender... The brand Ånd which is british and from what gather also in some way may be linked to the bath and skincare brand Lush, (which in a way you can detect in its somewhat edgy and youthful marketing). The names of the brand seems to me as a scandinavian to have taken its inspiration from the scandinavian languages. And if iI may guess mostly from the danish language. Ånd can be translated to spirit or ghost and can also mean something along the lines of ”in the spirit of”. And the name of the fragrance Får can either be translated into a substantive which will then make it mean sheep 🐑 (which I don’t think they have been thinking of when naming this) or it can mean a verb in the present tense which make Får translate into “may have” or “being allowed to” or even “can I?” which all are connotations i can get behind with this allowing, somewhat braking the rules kind of fragrance in a way expresses. Like can I have another lemon curd cookie with my lemon ice cream? Yes you may!! Ja du får! (In swedish and almost the same in danish). To me this is such an indulgence that i can’t help but smile when i put on, I use it for gray days when i need something to lift my spirits and this does it everytime. Since this is already braking all the conventions and rules it can also be worn anytime. But I guess it is a killer together with skin that the sun has warmed up (perhaps even a bit tanned skin which is also forbidden these days...🤫 so don’t tell anyone I said so...). I wear it today when it’s grey and snow is melting outside and the winds are hard, and I am fretting over something I have to write, so I write this instead... And Får helps me not to get depressed and self critical. Performance wise Får is really good in my opinion. The total outburst of zesty citrus is in the beginning that are sprudeling off of it will obviously calm down. But it is not like you are then left with just the cookie or the biscuit and some vanilla. No you will still feel the citrus in this albeit a bit more like a lemon curd. But compared to many citrus fragrances this holds on to its lemons and oranges pretty well. I think this projects quite a bit too and does keep you in its scent bubble for a long time. And even though it may not fill an entire room it may very well make people next to you begin to lust for something sweet to eat... It would not be kind to wear this to the gym or to a weight watchers meeting...😎 It also lasts very well on my skin. So overall this is an indulgence I really enjoy to treat myself with once in a while. And yes - I Får do so... ❣️

Yum! Far stands out nicely in the citrus gourmand subgenre by bringing in a lime note instead of the usual suspects of lemon or orange. Upon first whiff, the lime note is a tad sharp, veering on being bug spray or essential oil-like. Thankfully, this goes away within a few minutes, revealing the buttery biscuit. The two elements blend nicely, and smell very natural, evoking key lime pie. More specifically, it reminds me most of these small powdery lime cookies you can buy in a box at quite a few Key West shops. It's not too literal and foody, which can sometimes approach candle territory or feel stale; rather it just settles down as a unique yet attractive gourmand. Performance could be better, Far only lasts a few hours on me and doesn't leave much of a trail, but as I'm assuming it contains a good portion of natural components, I would consider it more than passable. Has a lot of potential for being a unisex gourmand and non-headache inducing.

First impression: almost the EXACT replica of Avocado Co-Wash by Lush, both smell like key lime pie! If you like Far, you should try it, you won't be disappointed. This one seems to settle into powdery, biscuits goodness quicker than Avocado Co-Wash though, which smells more tangy, but still sweet. Perhaps Far is closer to lemon merangue? I was surprised not to see may chang in the ingredients, but perhaps yuzu and kaffir lime mimic it somehow. I wonder if tonka has anything to do with how biscuity this smells?Anyway this is gorgeous, in a very edible kind of way. Can't wait to wear it some more! Edit: now I'm thinking lemon cheesecake! My husband said it smells like lemon sherbet. Perfect holiday scent.

I usually effuse for days about a perfume, regardless of whether I loved it, hated it, or felt entirely indifferent to it -- but I think all I have in me are three words: key lime pie. Extremely good stuff... the type of gourmand that literally makes your mouth water! I guess you could say it's extremely linear / one-note but that doesn't bother me, personally. I'm not always in the mood to throw on something complex. For those entering ånd's sphere through its connotations with Lush: if you're a fan of Calacas/Day of the Dead/Zesty/whatever the hell they decide to name it next time, and also a fan of the likes of Vanillary, American Cream, etc., then yes, you will love this too.

Well wasn't this a surprise for me! Someone gave me a sample and I had no idea of the notes before I sprayed it on. To me, the citrus burst in the beginning was the very best part, BUT...the rest of the fragrance wore so very lovely too! I thought that I smelled like a key lime pie before I gave in and looked up the notes. This is probably the best citrus fragrance I've ever tried. It lasts quite a long time on me too. It was so zesty and tart, but never sharp or shrieking. The biscuit/cookie note smelled divine, like a delicious pie crust made out of cookies. It just may be the best gourmand I've ever tried (which is lots!). My first try from this brand and it won't be my last.

Love this. The opening is tooth-achingly sweet for the first few minutes, with incredibly zesty lemon/lime. Reminds me of my mum's lemon drizzle cake, or old-fashioned lemon sherbets. The sweetness reduces quite quickly and the citrus really dominates for about an hour, and when it's gone I'm left with a delicious sweet pastry/biscuit skin scent. Three hours later there's not much of anything left, but it's such a unique fun summery vibe I've ordered a 10ml anyway. I may well go full size later on.

An initial sherbet lemon explosion quickly turns into a delicious tart lime cheesecake. The tartness does wear down quickly, and it becomes more of a sweet and creamy cheesecake on a biscuit base. The lime/yuzu/mandarin all blend to give an overall zesty feeling, but no tartness remains as there’s lots of sweetness to soften it. The drydown is all sweet, natural sugary zest with the biscuit base. Settles into a fruity soft vanilla skin scent. Truly gourmand, exactly like the description.

This was a blind buy for me. I found it so pleasing I used the 10ml up within a couple months. A wonderful scent that lifts the spirit and makes your mouth water! I’m an ex pastry chef and this smells like the kaffir lime mousse I used to serve in glistening little quenelle; tart, creamy and just slightly floral. If you have a hard time finding a source for this fragrance, Chelsea Morning, from Lush, is a great alternative. I think it may even be by the same nose?

Photo-realistic gourmand! Smells like a lemon and lime cheesecake but not too much of the stale biscuit note some gourmands have when attempting such things! If Akro Bake and D&G Devotion smell like chemicals to you (as they do to me!) then Får is the one for you! It smells natural and sugary and just crazy yummy! Not the strongest or longest lasting sadly.... But that’s citrus for you!

Probably my favourite citrus fragrance to date -sweet but not cloying on me, and the citrus stays with the fragrance unusually long, I can still smell it hours after I put it on, before the biscuit/creamy note takes over. I do definitely get the key lime pie comparisons but my immediate thought was twister ice cream!

Amazing! The citrus gourmand of my dreams! It is a true photo realistic key lime pie. It leans all the way into the tart, delicious natire of citrus with a yummy cookie crust base. I wish it were easier to get your hands on in the US. The longevity isn't great but that's expected with citrus forward scents.

A delightful smell. The lime fragrance, on me, is more like the fruity note in a curry rather than a cheesecake like others have said. I associate this specific smell with peanut sauce and eggplant, which could be a personal thing. Regardless, I intend to buy a full-size bottle when my sample runs out.

IM IN LOVE! IMIN LOVE IMIN LOVE! Yes, this has a similar tone to Chelsea Morning, but it is far better. Strong emphasis on the citrus w gourmand lactonic base - as most would say below, cheesecake. This is my Summer Sparkler for 2025!

Lime, vanilla and sugar. Delicious. I ended up buying the EDT and it projects a lot more than my EDP sample and still lasts all day. Smell is the same but maybe ever so slightly less biscuity

WOW so delicious. Like a key lime cheesecake, but not so sugary. Has lime zest intensity. Refreshing and fun.

I love it - the wonderfully blended banana accord does the trick for me!

If you are into photorealistic gourmands jump on this. It straight-up smells like a chewy gooey thick and creamy lemon & lime curd filling on a rich, thick and irresistible butter shortbread crust all covered with powdered sugar. It’s delicious! I love gourmand fragrances but this may be too photorealistic for my liking **to wear** however I must say this fragrance is extremely well done and the notes are balanced perfectly - it’s not too lemony and it’s not too biscuity. It’s linear with a soft sillage but doesn’t have the best longevity but I find that happens to be the case with most photorealistic fragrances. I’d pick this over Afro Bake and DG Devotion any day. This is quality and nothing in the composition smells synthetic which is amazing because I find when it comes to lemon gourmand fragrances they can turn too cleaner-like but this is not the case at all!

Fruity lime cheesecake is the description, and fruity lime cheesecake is what I get. If you like fruity lime cheesecake you've found your perfume for life! If, like the rest of us, you like it but wouldn't die for it, again, that is pretty much where you'll land here. I do like it. It is very sweet, but it is still a good scent. Possibly less a 'me' scent than others from this house though. Lots of love for this house! Super strong ethics, and OK, I'm not a fan of big bitter woodies or patchoulli, but that is only a couple of them ('bark' and 'patch', respectively), and 'cake' is terrifyingly sweet, but the rest of them are REALLY really good!! Big recommendation!! - the sample set is a brilliant way in too!

I love this. But unfortunately the citrus notes disappear on my skin within 3 hours max. Usually around the 2 hour mark they are gone. It's SUCH a shame because if that weren't the case, it'd probably be my new favourite perfume. The lime and Yuzu are beautiful, zingy, fresh, bright, sweet and elegant. It's such a lively, pretty scent. The biscuit scent is pleasant gentle yet present and not too sweet. But when the top notes fade it just doesn't have that je ne sais quoi that it has in the beginning. Definitely try it, as it is a beautiful scent, and maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

This is a fun fragrance! The brand describes it as a lime cheesecake, and it's not exactly that for me, but the lime and biscuit notes are definitely pronounced. I'm reminded of something like Froot Loops or Fruity Pebbles, with extra lime and the faintest touch of something a teensy bit head shoppy underneath, like a touch of incense or patchouli that could just be in my imagination. Maybe that's the labdanum, not sure. Gives me moderate projection pretty much all day long.
