I’m so conflicted. I was told this was better than oud bouquet and oud bouquet is like... my holy grail fall and winter scent like my nose is so in love with the scent profile and it goes well with my chemistry. I always get tons of compliments so i decided to give this one a shot.. On initial spray it smelled more identical to oud bouquet than even shaghaf oud so I was hoping there would be some type of change because i recently ordered another oud bouquet for the season since i finished my first bottle i ever owned and since i just got a new one i slightly panicked because i don’t need two of the same thing but as time went on i became slightly more upset because the scent profile in pavilion does change. With oud bouquet it gets all sweet and deep in that really beautiful oriental type of way like rose oud and praline just wafting beautifully from the skin but with pavilion it feels like the opening blast is beautiful and authentic but as the dry down hits the rose smells more screechy and less jammy. I feel like the fragrance loses its sweetness and not in a good way. One review said that this is for people who found oud bouquet to be too cloying but no the magic of oud bouquet is a staple for a reason and the way pavilion goes from sweet warm resinous to suddenly falling flat and feeling almost a bit chemically in a bad lab disaster sorta way.. I don’t think this fragrance was done any favors by this dry down. Sadly the best part was the opening when it smelled identical to oud bouquet because now it’s just this artificially “sweet” scent as if this fragrance embodies a sugar substitute that tastes terrible. Think of oud bouquet as cane sugar and this as some lab made stevia or any of those fake sugar alternatives that taste like theres chemicals in them. I had such high hopes because this fragrance is hyped and Andrea Maack in general is so huge i literally purchased two of her fragrances at once because i blindly trusted the hype but this one.. No.. no no no no. Shaghaf oud was a dupe i had to throw away because as good as it started being almost identical to oud bouquet it would take on this weird harsh smell sometimes that was hard to get past and i don’t know where it came from but i ended up sticking to the real thing because the dupe just went bad.. Even when it went bad it smelled better than the dry down of this scent here. I don’t know why someone would want to take something as special as oud bouquet and remix it especially when they did it this way.. Like this is just bad and its offensive to the beauty of what oud bouquet is. I’m just so upset that i paid so much for something that really was basically a dupe gone wrong i didn’t think they would even start out that identical but after the dry down i wish it had just stayed the way it was in the opening. I’m wondering if i should shelf this and come back later in a few weeks or if there’s no hope at all..

One of my favorites from Andrea Maack. Pavilion is a rich, warm rose fragrance, wrapped in honey, saffron, amber, and soft oud, with exceptional performance. The sweetness is deep and luxurious, giving it a refined, grown-up elegance. My friend B.P. became completely obsessed with it—especially the patchouli—and wore it nonstop for a week. The sillage is beautiful; I could literally smell it upstairs 😅✨ For me, it’s stunning but almost too intense. It easily lasts 8–12 hours, and the drydown is where it becomes truly gorgeous: smooth amber, soft woods, vanilla, and a dark, honeyed warmth that stays incredibly elegant on skin. Some compare it to rose-oud fragrances like Oud Satin Mood or RM n7, but Pavilion feels softer and more enveloping to me. Rich, sensual, and quietly powerful: very Andrea Maack in the best way.

One of my favorites from Andrea Maack. It is reminiscent of Shaghaf Oud but it's a MUCH more sophisticated, quieter and better blended older sibling. Shaghaf Oud is screechy and veers into the synthetic. Pavillion is warm, creamy, cozy and intoxicating. Definitely a fall/winter fragrance. On me the saffron, rose, amber and oud really stand out. You get more of the honey in the drydown. It's genuinely intoxicating and, on me, a compliment magnet. I got this in a discovery set that was gifted to me earlier this year on a trip to Iceland and it's a true highlight of this gorgeous and unique line.

This fills whatever space you are in. It has huge notes of honey. The vanilla feels dark, slow, and not very sweet. It is not a loud attention grabbing oud, it is in the shadows, lurking, yet never seen. There is a rose note that never calls attention to itself. It is an enhancement to everything. It brightens Pavilion, bringing it to a late dusk feel. This is an elegant gourmand. Yes there is sweetness, but it does not take over. This is rich and strong, if this was a desert it would be best shared. On skin I can smell it for 5-6 hours. On my shirt, It lasts over 10 hours.

Hands down my favorite Rose and Oud. It used to be Oud Bouquet but this by far surpasses it. Sweeter denser and an absolute beast. It lasts forever on the skin, and the projection is great. A real compliment getter. The honey really shines here, it adds to the smoothness of the oud and vanilla. I can’t stop sniffing my hand. This is my first our purchase from Andrea Maack, and I’m very intrigued to try more form the brand. Overall for me a 10/10

This is a gorgeous rose and woods scent. On first application, it's a sweet honey/rose fragrance with faint woods. The rose is dominant for the first hour or so, and then dries down to a gorgeous amber, oud, vanilla combination with the faintest hint of rose still lingering. I actually love this and I'm not normally a sweet perfume lover. It lasts for ages, and the sillage is great. I only need a small amount for it to last.

I'm trying a sample today and i gotta say this is love at first spray and i'm not a fan of rose. It tends to be overpowering and give me headaches, however here, the marriage between rose, vanilla and oud works like a charm, and that honey on top, makes that really smooth as the user below said. This is a win to me, and i will get a bigger bottle!

ok woah. someone sprayed this on a test strip in the store i work at and i nearly passed away. i bugged my manager for 20 minutes to try and figure out what the hell it is. AMBER, SAFFRON, ROSE, PATCHOULI BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!! its currently 100 degrees BUT i will be buying a bottle the second it drops below 80. i am obsessed.

This is entirely sexy and delicate but also dangerous. It's sapphic, drunk, lustful. It smells like a gorgeous naked woman. The dry down is even better, turns more warm and spicy as the hours pass.

Its like a mellower more feminine version of Oud for Greatness. At least the opening is similar to me but in the Pavilion dry down it is more floral. Not quite a rose though or maybe a really green one. Something almost like a fruit but i dont see anything like that in the notes. Sillage and longevity arent as strong as OFG. An easy to wear oud.

I bought a sample set and I wasn't sure I was going to like this one but I adore the honey rose and oud combination. It smells brooding and alluring and it lasts maybe 8 hours on my skin I have yet to wear it out so I will see but great so far.

oud mood by lattafa without the incense and a lot more rose - way more wearable for ppl who thought oud mood was too much

Overly sweet fruity rose scent

I get rose, vanilla, patchouli, and agar wood. I have trouble with this oud note, and this is no exception.

Too much oud. Nothing like Oud Bouquet. I can't even smell the rose. Maybe it's my skin???

I need to preface this by saying this is not the scent profile I'm drawn to. Second, I've learned that the scents I hate most all have Praline so I'm thinking that's my beef here. It's not a bad perfume. It's wearable and I can see people who like Mugler Angel and Oud Bouquet type scents enjoying this. Like all AM fragrances, it's well done and complex enough to be a little interesting but not complicated and off putting.

This just doesn't smell nice on my skin. The rose has an acrid quality that is very off putting. At first application it's so intensely caustic that it calls to mind accidentally getting hair spray in your face. As it dries and mellows, it becomes less obvious. If not for that single aspect it would be a pleasant, sugary scent. It smells mostly of praline to me. Safe, warm, a little unremarkable.

This reminds me of Black Orchid and Alameda. Rose + saffron + oud wear warm and smell like a ripe raw meat (I don’t care for it). This one leans more towards honey in the dry down. If I liked the scent profile then I’d like this.

This loses it’s sweetness unfortunately. It dries down to rose and oud, but what I wanted was an easier to wear oud bouquet. The opening is amazing, but the drydown, while nice ends up losing that praline sweetness!

Definitely the best sweet rose oud I've tried so far, but still not quite perfect for me I wish it was slightly more syrupy, not more sweet, but syrupy in texture

Save yourself hundreds of dollars and just buy Shaghaf Oud, my golden brick 😉❤️❤️❤️ Thank me later
