Odyssee III

This stuff is awesome, you inhale Chanel BdC, you exhale TF Oud Wood, i blind bought it in a haul with other Anfar fragrances, and what i can say, for the prices you pay, those are pretty beast mode. Extrait de parfum concentration, longevity is way better than both fragrances mentioned above, this will easily last u 10-12h with a good scent trail and bubble for the first 2-3 hours. All in all, Anfar fragrances are bangers, just need fragrantica to add them to the database and ill try to leave reviews on them. Blind buy worthy? Hell yeah. Signature scent worthy, all year around.

Another Curly "victim" here. This one is a banger. I bought 3 anfar fragrances and I like them all. Great quality. Edit: after 2 months longevity is still somehow weak. Just today I sprayed this one on one hand and cdn iconic on the other hand. To me they're similar just in the opening. Dry down is completely different, but iconic is stronger.

This one is actually one of the best fragrances I owe. Duration is 8hr+ with good sillage and projection. It smells like heaven. Blind buy safe and good compliment magnet. It does smell somehow like BDC and Tom Ford OW but its a gem on its own rights.

I have heard a lot of hype about Odyssey III. I had not heard of the house until recently. This is purported to be a hybrid of Bleu de Chanel and Tom Ford Oud Wood. I will qualify by saying that I have owned Oud Wood and own several of it's clones, and I also own BDC EDP and Parfum, as well as few clones of the BDC DNA. I bought my bottle of Odyssey III earlier this week and received it yesterday after waiting with anxious anticipation. These are my initial thoughts from my freshly opened bottle. The opening is definitely BDC adjacent, not quite BDC in my opinion, but closer to Missoni Pour Homme EDP which is heavily BDC inspired. It's musky with strong citrus backed by some very woody notes and a lot of vetiver. The opening is a lot deeper than any of the real BDC frags' openings and lacking most of the lighter airy fresh notes. There are stronger parallels to BDC Parfum than EDP or EDT. I believe BDC Parfum already has some similarities to Oud Wood in the drydown ( and they layer well) and as Odyssey dries down, I can see why some people give some Oud Wood comparison, but it never fully gets there. It smells more like a stripped down version of BDC Parfum with some additional hints of OW. The longevity seems good, at around 8-9 hours with strong projection in the first 3, receding bit by bit in the next 3 hours before settling in to a skin scent in the last 2-3 hours. I think this is a safe wear year round, but seems to play nicer with cooler weather than warm where some of the freshness is really lost compared to BDC. I believe this leans masculine, but I could also see a woman pulling it off. Final thoughts: I can't lie, as someone who loves both OW and BDC and after all of the hype, I can't help but feel somewhat disappointed. I feel like they tried to find the perfect middle ground between the two DNA's but in the end, lost too much of the character from each that makes them special. It just kind of sits in this middle ground where it leaves me wishing it was either more like OW or BDC, while never getting close enough to either one to fully scratch the itch. It's a fine fragrance on its own, and a good idea, I just wish they would have balanced it better. The vetiver is also too heavy in my opinion. I will say to Afnar's credit, all of the notes seem to be high quality, no weird synthetic funk to be found in this event from a fresh bottle. It's possible my bottle will improve with time, and I will try and leave an updated review in the coming weeks/months. As of right now, it's a decent effort, the ingredients smell high quality, and the performance is good enough, but I feel like they played it a little too safe and it didn't really pay off as well as it could have. Update: I have definitely warmed up to this more, it hasn't really changed much, but that's a credit to great blending and high quality ingredients. I believe they macerated this prior to bottling, as any self-respecting fragrance house should. It does not come of like a cheap ME clone house effort. The quality is excellent, the issue is that I just wish they had tuned the scent profile more. 80/100

I've a soft spot for TF Oud Wood, my brother gave this to me one christmas and it was my first next level scent to have for going out and BDC is just amazing too, so when I heard of this clone scent that is both I was like, WTF.... Had to be checked out. Three sprays in the car and it filled it completely. It's 90% BDC at the opening with some sort of woody aspect but sadly this only ever hints at oud wood profile as it dries down, it's not really that present to be honest. It's of a high quality for the price. You could tell someone you paid 80 euro for this and they'd believe you. Totally blind buy safe.

Smells like a fresher version of Lalique Encre noir a la extreme. Not blind by safe. These both have a dark aromatic green note that some will not like. I'd say this style fragrance is more suited for older gents or people that dress up in a suit and tie. Not a casual scent. A serious scent profile for those that like darker, dryer fragrances.The Blue De Chanel DNA is there and helps to freshen up the fragrance a bit. Like 30/70 Encre Noir and BDC.

I've seen people say this reminds them of Bleu De Chanel. To me, this smells more like Sospiro Vibrato. They are both very strong fresh/citrus fragrances. They completely fill a room. This reminds me of the hairspray you smell in a barbershop. It's nice. It might not be for everyone though. If you can find a sample, I'd try it. That being said, for the price, this is amazing.

I blind bought after watching a Curly Scents video recomendation. BDC and Oud Wood. I like it. I only wish the BDC part of it lasted more than an hour before becoming OW. I keep a decant of turathi blue with me to refesh the BDC layer because the vetiver dry down lasts forever. The atomizer is AMAZING. It functions like it is pressurized.

So it does smell like a mix of BDC and TF Oud Wood. Kind of opens more like BDC then dries down more like TF. It’s really nice quality wise with really nice presentation.

Odyssee III by Anfar presents itself as a dark, resinous amber, but on my skin it tells a different story. Very quickly, the composition started to feel strikingly familiar — to the point where it reminded me strongly of Bleu de Chanel, especially in the overall structure and aromatic-woody character. Only a dupe? The opening carries a smooth, slightly sweet woody accord with a clean, modern feel rather than a truly deep resinous darkness. There is some warmth underneath, but instead of evolving into something unique, the fragrance stayed within a very recognizable “blue” territory: polished woods, soft amber, and a controlled, slightly synthetic smoothness. As it develops, a mild amber tone appears, but it never becomes truly rich or textured. The scent remains linear, clean, and somewhat predictable. For those expecting a bold, resin-heavy personality, this may feel disappointing. Personally, the familiarity reduced the sense of discovery — it felt more like a reinterpretation than an original statement. Another downside for me: after some time, the composition became tiring and slightly oppressive, even giving me a mild headache. This may be due to the smooth synthetic woody-amber base, which stays constant and persistent throughout the wear. Performance is solid — good longevity and a moderate, steady projection — but not exceptional. Overall, technically pleasant and easy to wear, but too familiar for my taste. If you enjoy the Bleu de Chanel style, you may appreciate it. If you are looking for something truly distinctive, this might not deliver.

Maybe everyone has heard of this fragrance bc of Curly. But yeah, it's a great masculine all year long scent. Good for your signature
