The violet leaf and apple here are sharp and prominent especially upon the first spray. Not taking too long, the coffee, cedar, and leather entered the game making it more interesting. The mid phase is more rounded and warm. The dry down is delicious, aromatic, warm, with fair amount of citric and musk. I love wearing this as I always catch a whiff of something nice and comforting everytime I move.

After using to the last drop of a sample vial, I long for this fragrance. It is not easy to buy this one nowadays. The opening is fresh but later when it dry down, it is very warm and spicy but the very good way. I love this scent. Well done Alberto Morillas, he never let me down. Who know the similar scent and easier to buy please tell me. Thank you.

Nice, pleasant and perfect for indoors environment. A good performance, with a good cheap price. For me this is better than trussardi inside. 8/10

I was expecting a Hugo boss like scent based on the apple ans cinnamon. And thank god it’s not like that. This is a nice fragrance for the price!

Essential develops a spicy, coffee, edibility that is just delicious. My beef is that the initial spray is a spacy, synthetic scent not enjoyable, which is normal in most scents, but I didn't experience this on my first try. TRY ON SKIN, it smells like nothing on paper. For a gourmand, gorgeous scent, I also say to try Polo Double Black. Just an updated note: I've sprayed this on my arm on a Sunday afternoon, worn it there and got faint hints of it at random without trying to smell it. I've also slept, had a shower this morning(but not used soap on that part of my arm) and am at work at midday, I can still smell it on my arm, even though very close to my skin. Just to give an idea of the quality of the substance staying on the skin, it will stay on your clothes too. When your girlfriend gives you a hug, she'll surely smell this on your shirt.

I didn't like the initial 'tonka bean/coffee' combination... I thought, "Nice initial burst of freshness, but the undercurrent of tonka bean/coffee wasn't that pleasing."... but after an hour, the dry-down turned to 'sweet', and the initial smell changed. Bought this one after reading the reviews, blind buy. First impression: smelled only alcohol. It needs a minute to evolve - but then: wow ! Great scent. Elegant but not to much. Some sweetness - yet again not to much. Try to make out the coffee but maybe have to wait. D'you think this is suitable for the office ? Anyway I do not regret the deal - and it's inexpensive, too !

Very good, aromatic sweet/fruity. It's really similar to Ferrari Black.

Smells ultra synthetic but also strangely pretty, i get a really musky vanillic type smell with a vague greeness cutting through, grassy with a sort of watery apple element. It rounds out a fair bit as it dries down. The fragrance version of a big faux booby peroxide blonde lady of the night, it's pretty but really artificial.

Nice and pleasant smell but with very poor performance. Soft sillage and weak longevity. Max. 2 hours. Very smooth and very light skin scent.

Nice addition to the collection. Upon first sniff off shot sprays into air ..it's totally a copy of Guerlain Homme Intense(black bottle), with something sour added. Maybe and i hope that's the coffee note. Smells good i like the bite in this. Still need to try on skin. More of a night scent. If i can get at least 8hrs i'll give this 8/10! Update; on different wearing i feel this wanders in the direction of what Ungaro Apparition Black might have smelt like...if it existed 2nd update; scratch what i mentioned about Guerlan Homme Intense and Ungaro Apparition. This smells very unique. I get a green coffee bean note here. I wanna say i smell cocoa butter in this also..not sure whatever else i pick up; some plant or herb which migh be the suede but no 'Woods'.. I'm digging the green wafts that this gives off. Will be getting 3-4 backup bottles just in case it dissappears or is reformulated. @ Flirtboy Yes Pardon my dating was off, but they simply remind me of each other at the topnotes..cheers!

I love this,it smell great but doesnt last very long. A very good work from Alberto Morillas,the master of the masters.

Powdery and artificial. No real element of nature could be detected. Definately lower on the quality scale.

Alberto Morillas has made more enhanced scent in Collistar Aqua Attiva. Much better then this one.
