Not a bad scent. Performance is great, i don't know what the people below me are talking about... 14 hours and after a night of sleep i can still smell this on my skin. The drydown smells like a grown-up version of Pepe Jeans London for Him, with a more sexy-mature nod. This smell is far from being unique but it does have the compliment pulling factor to it. It's very cheap so you can't really get mad about that. It does have the original Animale feel to it, but in a less dry-and-sharp kind of way. It's a richer scent compared to it, but not necessarily a rich scent in and of itself if that makes sense. If you liked the original, you'll definetly like this. Nothing spectacular, but it is pleasant and enjoyable, casual vibe. It's a like for me.

Experiencing from an official brand decant. A little weak, had to sprinkle about 7 times to be able to evaluate. It opens incidentally citrusy, greeny and slightly floral, with the top 3 notes right in your face. The open doesn't smell fresh, it smells like it's trying to be something between fresh and "bold", achieving none. There is a slightly artificial tone to it. Transitions from the top to the heart and from this to bottom are quick. Rosemary and woody note come to life in a heart and dry down that turn out to be noticeably spicy but still slightly floral. The heart is little bit cloying, almost excessively spicy. The drydown is actually the best fase of this perfume, where the indefinition from the open and the cloying from the heart are finally put to rest. Nevertheless, absolutely nothing to write home about. Also, it's that kind of aroma that leave the impression of having been felt before, meaning: somewhat generic. Shy performance.

I sampled this over the holidays in duty-free, a very uneventful scent. Simple citrus, lavender, and cedar are all I got. Longevity was horrible.

Interesting composition: hope it manages to pull it off, and perform decently
