Romantica Exotica

I collect Anna Sui perfumes ever since I fell in love with Secret Wish at a tender young age. I love her unabashedly fairy tale designs for fragrances and their bottles. This bottle is beautiful in color and design and I disagree with the one who said the brightly colored box is for teenagers. I think it's gorgeous and artistic being an artist and photographer myself. I'm an outside the lines kinda girl, I don't believe in rules or restrictions to fragrance like age. The juice is bright, happy, refreshing, playful, sexy and indeed romantic. It lasts long on my skin. I put it on this morning and now back from work I can still smell it on my arms and wafting gently once and a while up from my neck. The refreshing top note of grapefruit makes it sparkle. You know, a study was done where they tested the effects of certain scent notes on men and the test had women wearing different scents and one was predominantly grapefruit. The women wearing grapefruit were perceived as at least 5 years younger than their age. Thought that was interesting

I received a tester and although much thinner very much the same vibe scent from michael kors island, which I loved so. Glad to find something so similar in scent which I would describe as a clean energetic aquatic floral. Island had much more depth w/a rich luxurious creamy base to it, where the Anna Sui romantica exotica only mimics the Island top notes. I would say the price point on perfume websites is fantastic for this scent and I will be wearing it spring summer as it is fresh, fine for everyday wear. I do not think in any way it resembles mass market body sprays as those often leave a weird scent after evaporating on my skin. This stuff stays the same throughout wear clean and fresh hint of gardenia buds not full flower.

The initial hit is a freshly squeezed lemonade with a ripe Blackcurrant tang. This is another Anna sui citrus classic. It reminds me of old troicana music of the 50s and 60s. The dry down is when the creamy white florals come into play. Although not as sweet as the comparable Anna Sui Serenity Wish for example. This definitely a breezy fragrance, im seeing cyan coloured waters, orange skies, tanned skin etc. Its clear what the inspiration of this scent was. Anyway, its lovely but about as lovely as an Anna sui citrus blast can be. I doubt you need to own them all.

I just wanted everyone to know this perfume is now on shop.annasui three sizes 30ml $46, 50ml $65, and 75ml $78. Plus either $12, or $15 for shipping via UPS Ground. I should have my 75ml bottle tomorrow. I will be doing a perfume review of this perfume by 08/24. I am also doing a dedication video for Anna Sui of all my Anna Sui perfumes, by early September.

I will have to have this when it becomes available. I just love this bottle, this is now one of my favorite bottles she has done. I love the color. Anna Sui has done many great perfumes, and a lot of them are some of my favorite perfumes. I'm glad to say I have almost all of her perfumes.

Very citrusy-soury- soapy-lemony-white florally kind of scent. It has some sweetness in it. Dont last that long. A very skin scent perfume. The bottle is very fairy tale like

Ok I bought it for the bottle :-) but I knew I would love the juice inside as if you like one Anna Sui I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them, and I have a soft spot for the brand as Sui Dreams was one of the first ‘proper’ perfumes I had as a teenager and I wore it for years. The bottle is absolutely stunning, gorgeous sea green with gold patterns and the cap is metal and heavy which makes it feel special. I know these are small things but I’m a sucker for pretty, colourful and unusual bottles. The actual perfume is lovely too- it has that instantly recognisable Anna Sui feel to it but it is also a nice citrusy, floral, soapy, clean scent too. I struggle to pick out any individual notes though. For an EDT I find that this does last well for a couple of hours. Hours after spraying I can still smell this quite strongly and it smells pretty much like it did when I first sprayed. Overall, it’s gorgeous and I love it. I have the pink version of this (Romantica) and while that’s lovely also, I would choose this one if I had to pick from the two.

Tropical, sweetish and clearly citrusy scent, which have a woody base. I think it smells a little bit like strawberry or pineapple, even if it doesn't include those notes :D Funny and light-minded, slightly synthetic or even a bit cheap smelling, but not a bad fragrance in overall. (+ I somehow like the bottle design :D) Longevity could be better, last on my skin about 4 hours.

Super super fresh and bouncy - a young person sipping lemonade at a pool party. The blackcurrant sets off the aquatic accord extremely well, which I didn't expect. Definitely an inexpensive everyday type of scent that doesn't pretend to be high-end, this gives an enlivening, summer-days-at-the-lake kinda vibe. Youthful, fruity and summery.

I bought this at about £18 offer on escentual.com and liked it for everyday use. I thought the price & quality good enough to give as Christmas gifts to younger friends and they liked it.

Summertime fragrance...opens up with fresh citrus and after few minutes became such a lovely and feminine juice. Jasmine and neroli...perfect match🥰🥰👌

Blind bought. It's tolerable! I wouldn't suggest going out of your way for it.

Screechy, alcoholic and plain. Tropical weak dry down, do not recommend. Had for years and wore it as a teenager. Memorable Aura by Zara is much more fruitier and pleasant, so I would recommend that instead.

Reminds me of a laundry sheet kinda and it's definitely giving cologne . I mean like it smells nice i just think there better fresh fragrances for women out there . I like the bottle tho

fragranticas pyramid is spot on. divine, heavy, sweet, floral, citrusy intoxicating fragrance that encapsulates summer. soapy and fresh. smells almost identical to Armani Code, but with more flowery, photorealistic neroli & jasmine. similar to YSL Libre. fairly unisex

Smells like a body spray aimed for a teenage audience, I didn't like this at all

To me this smells earthy with a wood vibe. It has a harsh opening but this turns into a nice light floral scent. I blind bought this and I do like it. Sillage 7/10, beautiful bottle.

Smells like Anna Sui’s usual suspects with a bit of spice. Aimed at teenagers for the fragrance, the bottle, right down to the brightly coloured box.

Fruity, but sweet, tropical in an expected way.. escada kinda..
