I first discovered Umbra Oud during my travels in the Emirates, and it was love at first sniff. The rich, complex composition immediately captivated me, leaving a lasting impression. Imagine my delight when I found it again in Paris - it felt like a serendipitous reunion with an old friend. Umbra Oud is a masterpiece of depth and sophistication. Its sillage is mesmerizing, leaving a trail of elegance wherever you go, and the longevity is nothing short of remarkable - it stays with you all day, evolving beautifully over time. This is my second fragrance from the brand, following my love for Abed, and I must say, Anomalia Paris has truly won my heart. Their creations are not just perfumes; they are olfactory journeys that evoke emotion and admiration. Umbra Oud is a must-try for anyone who appreciates a bold, luxurious, and unforgettable scent. Easily my number one from Anomalia Paris. Umbra Oud is exceptionally chic and entirely modern. It beautifully captures a sense of icy shadow meeting warm wood. The opening soft spices and rose centifolia quickly give way to a stunning combination of clean, refined Laotian oud and supple white suede. There’s zero barnyard or harsh synthetic chemical feel here; it is polished, smooth, and deeply resinous with a powerful incense drydown. If you want a bold, head-turning leather-oud with insane longevity and zero cloying sweetness, this is a masterpiece.

This one from Anomalia really caught my attention. I was looking for something special, for fall season. Umbra Oud to me is like a cold November evening by the fireplace. It gives a special mysterious feeling. Totally recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous fragrance. Not your typical Rose/Oud fragrance which is overdone. It is smooth, smells expensive , gourmand vibes, more on the feminine side. I d love to smell this on a lady

Amazing and all that , I totally agree with everyone on this but, someone mistook it for ombre nomad for the roses and oud DNA and I can't get over that

At its heart lies an unmistakable partnership: a refined, almost meditative oud wrapped in a leather so soft it deserves its name. White Leather. This isn't the sharp, tannic punch of a saddle; it's the supple, velvety touch of suede - worn, intimate, and quietly luxurious. As it dries down, incense and dry woods smooth everything out. Niche December Contestant 13: First impressions: a complex leather-oud composition with a soft spicy floral start. It isn't my favorite, but I am enjoying it so far. Main review: It's an absolute beast in terms of performance. Holds for like 12 hours with only 2 sprays, with a very powerful sillage. The scent itself is alright. It isn't entirely intoxicatingly pleasant, but it doesn't stink either. It feels well put-together, and requires some brainwork to really comprehend it. It does turn heads. Overall 7/10, would be 5.5/10 if not for the absolutely insane performance.

This fragrance is intense! To my nose, Umbra Oud is voluptuous, quite fierce, rose-forward with a strong resinous backbone. In the drydown, it reminds me of Byredo Reine de Nuit, but with added oomph. Initially, I caught a hint of Estrella de la Manana... :/ The imagery perfectly depicts the smell; however, I would also wear Umbra Oud on a sunny, chilly late October day.

This scent has a very detectible, quite strong hazelnut note (even if it's not mentioned but somehow it's there), so if you are into hazelnuts, go for it. For me it's quite annoying. This is a European "oud", just woody, nothing dirty. The bottle looks much more dramatic than the fragrance.

I already wrote my overall opinion on this brand, when talking about their best-selling SABRAGE, but I want to say that this perfume is probably my favorite Oud fragrance of all. I was waiting to get it for a very long time, since it was released in the Middle East, and it was worth the wait ! Classy, elegant, bold.. All that we can ask for ! It is as good for a woman as it is for a man, and perfect for autumn. The sillage is amazing as well as its longevity. I highly recommend this gem !

Look at the brand faking reviews on the Fragrantica. As pointed out in different language pages, they do it notouriously. Fragrance wise you're paying more for the bottle than the scent. Shaman especially is trash in a bottle. They just laugh at you as a customer paying 200+eur for something costing 5eur to make, that doesn't even smell decent to begin with.

Can not feel any rose in it - leather+oud and not in a unisex way - too harsh. It is beast mode though, I used it in the evening, took a shower and next day after a full day I still could smell it from the wrist.

Smells genuinely like a strong stilton cheese. I was so repulsed I washed it off before experiencing the dry down. Avoid.

Meh meh and meh. It's a wonder in 2025 we still have more rose&oud launches
