The Red Wedding

A friend of mine presented this to me as a boozy version of Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle and I smell the similarities to musc ravageur, but it is a lot sweeter and more rose dominant than MR. In the drydown it has a really dry woody smell combined with a hint of almost tart sweetness - Really a lovely fragrance, so good I had to snatch up a backup bottle.

loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this. I spent so long looking for a dried fruits scent and also a wine scent and this hits the spot so well. Really smells like old vintage tables, spilt beer, dried fruits and wine. I absolutely love this and i feel like this perfectly encapsulates the red wedding from GoT. so happy that I picked this up awhile ago

I LOVE the rose in this.. its light its airy it smells like an actual rose. Unlike the common rose like in oud satin mood or portrait of a lady that smells like an oil extrait just dense and synthetic. Does anyone have any recommendations for rose perfume that have rose notes similar to this instead of the usual note ?

Definitely very similar to Musc Ravageur in the dry down. The red wedding takes away some of the spices and replaces them with some smooth boozy notes which I really enjoy.

Roses and booze. This is my favorite 2nd from Zak's releases. Can't go wrong. Keep releasing these bangers!

very boozy, fruity, floral & sweet with a clean aldehydic shampoo & champagne note in the opening, woods & soft musks follow, all mainly synthetic. gets even more sweeter through time, like rose jam mixed with an overdose of maltol & vanillin. not my jam (at all), but can imagine that xerjoff & tiziana terenzi fans or generally fans of synthetic sugar perfumes might like it, as these synthetics will give you multiple days of performance, and that‘s what it‘s all about right :)

sweet, jammy rose with the metallic quality from the "blood" note. smelling it by pressing my nose right up to my skin (horrible habit) overwhelmed me at first but the magic of this is for sure in the air. to make it easy to compare the rose in this is reminiscent of a penhaligons/initio rose accord. it's thick, jammy and insanely sweet. the red wine gives it a boozy "feeling" rather than smelling like an accord if that makes sense. but the main things are the rose, plum, wine/whiskey, and the metallic blood i guess. good for sure! unique, never smelled anything like this before and can appreciate it a lot for what it is. relatively wearable, but definitely not in screeching cold or scorching heat.

@Alonzo77 I think the first comment is talking about the red wedding Game of Thrones episode. However, I think this fragrance is inspired by the real historical event (also known as the Black Dinner) which was the inspiration for the Red Wedding episode.

@Turtle2 how so can you explain further I don't understand why would they get a lawsuit, I think your over your head bro there a artisan fragrance brand nothing to do with hbo and the nonsense your talking

Yeah don't let that myriad of fun notes fool you. This is just a rose / wood / woody amber scent. Very rose dominant, with a biscuity metallic vibe similar to that you'd find in Ganymede Extrait

I can only wish to be a hot and bothered vampire, in a timeline where this hasn’t been discontinued...until then i am filled with inconsolable dread, free me from this endless torment

One of the most realistic fragrances out there, brother zakariya added the boozy notes with florals and other metallic notes to make it really look like a crime scene, amazing work 👌

The beer note throws it off for me. It gets better in the drydown. They sent a sample of belly of the whale along with this and I like it way more.
