Harmonie Pastorale

One of my favorites for a while now. Harmonie Pastorale Anthologie by Lucien Ferrero is an example of classic Italian perfume making. I compare it to vintage Armani eau pour homme and vintage Gucci Nobile. These Italians were so good, outstanding then. Harmonie Pastorale creates a similar vibe. Italian herbs and bright lively lemon. Best for late spring and summer.

For me is a niche version of Eau Sauvage EDT / Eau Sauvage Extreme. Very refined, good longevity for this kind of perfume with limited sillage. If you love Eau Sauvage ADN go for it.

Italian classic! Starts with strong green citrusy note with some aromatics.Mastic is main player but not too strong.it is balanced well. Great longevity and sillage.

It remembers me a sunday sunny morning in springtime, the hug of a father to his children, a day passed with family. A protective and ensuring cologne, beautiful!

I entered the store of Laboratorio Olfattivo in Rome and Iv'e tested this fragrance (also got a sample). Nice, elegant, citrusy and you can small a little ginger and lavander dominent (maybe the combination of the mint and the thyme+vetiver). On the fresh side not long lasting but interesting combination of scents. Spring, summer, day and safe for any occasion.

A very classy masculine citrus. It is bitter in a way that I find quite enjoyable, pithy and natural. To me it is a green chypre not a million miles off of Chanel Pour Monsieur or New York Intense. Eau Sauvage comparisons are also definitely appropriate. Really worth trying. 8.4/10

Powdered Sandy Mastic! When i first sniffed it, it was quite unpleasant somehow! maybe because it was quite fresh overdosed with herbal mix! but now after the cool down, that sandy powdered mastic is just alluring! giving that talc like note. Clary sage, & teak wood is quite impressive and shown clearly here. This blend is quite interesting, i just need to check again why the top note wasn't unpleasant! Pretty. Edit (12 Sept 2024) This one reminds me allot of "Tuscany" by Aramis the vintage 80s or 90s blend. It's not identical to "Tuscany" at all but i just can smell "Tuscany" from far away! i mean the citrus used is "Tuscany" but the woods, thyme, vetiver, and mastic are covering "Tuscany" somehow! it's like hiding a leaked "Tuscany" in a box of wood! and again, like all their other blends, i kind of detect fizziness within, like a virgin cocktail! i wonder, is fizzy their stamp!

A few hundred perfumes in, I’m so glad I can still discover something that is so beautiful it makes time stop for a little while. Italian summer in a bottle. Pure quality.
